3 tablespoons butter, melted

3 tablespoons maple syrup

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

4 Granny Smith apples (about 2 pounds), peeled

 

Prep: 20 minutes| Cook: 6 minutes| Makes: 12 servings

  1. Core apples and cut into 1/2 inch-thick rings.
  2. In large bowl, stir together butter, maple syrup and cinnamon. Add apple rings; toss to coat.
  3. Grill apple rings over direct heat  2 to 3 minutes on each side or until glazed and tender.
  4. Heat broiler or stove-top grill pan. Broil apple rings 4 to 6 inches from heat 3 minutes each side, or cook in pan 2 to 3 minutes each side.
