Community Shred Day
September 7th 2024
9:00am – 12:00pm
Bedford City Hall

The City of Bedford is excited to announce that it will be hosting a Shred Day on Saturday, September 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Bedford City Hall. This free event offers an excellent opportunity for community members to securely dispose of their sensitive documents, such as old bank statements, tax records, and other paperwork that should be shredded to prevent identity theft.

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this service to clear out their homes of unwanted documents in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. The shredding will be done on-site by a professional shredding company, ensuring that all materials are completely destroyed before being recycled.

The event is made possible through grant funding provided by the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste Management District, which supports initiatives aimed at reducing waste and promoting sustainable practices within the community.

Whether you’re looking to declutter your home office or simply ensure your personal information is securely destroyed, this Shred Day is an ideal way to do so. Be sure to arrive early, as the event is expected to draw a significant turnout. This is a community-focused event, reinforcing Bedford’s commitment to the safety and well-being of its residents.
