The Bedford Historical Society is excited to announce its annual summer flea market, set to take place this weekend on Saturday, August 10, at the Bedford Commons. This beloved community tradition will run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offering free admission and parking for all attendees.
Shoppers can look forward to an array of bargains, with a diverse selection of items for sale. From collectibles and antiques to books, records, toys, clothing, tools, and household miscellany, there’s something for everyone. Additionally, the Historical Society will feature a special “fleatique” in the lower hall of the old church, where their gift shop items and the newly published “Images of America” book, Bedford and Bedford Township, will be available for purchase.
For those interested in selling items at the flea market, the Historical Society is offering vendor spots for $20.00 per 10ft. space if reserved in advance or $25.00 on the day of the event. Vendors are required to bring their own tables and chairs. The event will proceed rain or shine, ensuring a full day of fun and finds.
To secure a vendor spot or for more information, prospective sellers should contact Chris Sweet at (440) 439-7470 or visit the Bedford Historical Society’s website at www.bedfordohiohistory.org and click on the events section.
As a non-profit organization, the Bedford Historical Society appreciates the community’s support in preserving and celebrating the rich history of Bedford. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy a day of shopping and community spirit at the annual summer flea market!
