As reported by Cleveland.com News, an 8-year-old girl took her family’s car for a drive on Sunday morning, resulting in a crash before she was later located at a Target store, according to Bedford police.
Authorities received a call around 9 a.m. about the missing girl and the 2020 Nissan Rogue. Family members reported last seeing her at 7 a.m., prompting a search. A neighbor’s camera captured the girl driving the vehicle, and a report was received of a juvenile operating a car on Rockside Road in Bedford Heights.
The vehicle was found abandoned by Bainbridge police in a Target parking lot in Bainbridge Township. The girl was found inside the store, admitting she had hit a mailbox. While the car sustained damage, no injuries were reported in the incident.
