As reported by Fox 8 News, two men are facing serious felony charges following a late-night shooting outside the Olive Garden restaurant in Warrensville Heights.

A judge in Bedford Municipal Court set bond at $250,000 for each defendant during arraignments held Thursday. Lamaurie Gilbert-Grays is charged with two counts of felonious assault, along with tampering with evidence and obstruction of justice. His case has been forwarded to a Cuyahoga County Grand Jury for consideration of a formal indictment.

Jonathan Sledge is charged with felonious assault and obstruction of justice. Because he did not have legal representation at the hearing, he is scheduled to return to Bedford Municipal Court on Friday.

The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, shortly after the restaurant closed. Two men were struck by gunfire and transported to a hospital for treatment.

According to information presented in court, investigators reviewed video footage that allegedly shows one suspect discarding a firearm in a snow pile while the other threw a gun into a nearby pond. Officers were observed searching a pond across the street from the restaurant near University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center. Court records indicate both weapons were later recovered.

The investigation remains ongoing.
