The City of Bedford is encouraging residents to get involved in local government by serving on one of the city’s boards or commissions.
At this time, the Planning Commission has one open seat, while the Board of Building Standards and Appeals has two openings.
Residents interested in serving are asked to submit a resume and a letter of interest stating which board or commission they would like to join, along with a brief background about themselves.
Materials should be sent to Tracy Simons, CMC, Clerk of Council, at tsimons@bedfordoh.gov.
City officials note that all submitted resumes and letters will be kept on file so residents may be considered when future openings become available. Serving on a board or commission offers an opportunity for residents to contribute their time and expertise to help support the Bedford community.
