Hey Bedford Residents:
You’ve heard of the phrase “April showers bring May flowers.” this originates from a 1557 poem by Thomas Tusser, meaning that spring’s rain and warmer temperatures are essential for blooming flowers. But not the severe storm we just experienced. Just a little history.
Anyway, Spring is a time to start home cleaning, get rid of old clothes, shoes, furniture, home appliances, etc. The following are places I take old items:
- Value World Thrift on Northfield Road (4639 Northfield Rd, North Randall, OH) — Men and women can take their old clothing items
- Area churches
- The Goodwill University Heights (13908 Cedar Road, University Heights, OH 44118)
- Women’s Shelters if they accept the clothing, and the list goes on
So, there are so many places we can take our old items. Spring Cleaning. I say it’s blessing someone else in need.
