If you’ve been meaning to submit a recipe for the Bedford Community Cookbook, don’t worry—it’s not too late.
You may have seen collection boxes at Sirna’s Cafe, City Hall, and Ellenwood over the past several weeks. There is still an opportunity to participate.
The physical collection boxes will be picked up this Thursday, so anyone wishing to submit a paper recipe should do so before then. However, the online submission form will remain open through next week, giving residents a little extra time to contribute their favorite dishes.
The Bedford Community Cookbook is designed to celebrate the recipes, traditions, and memories that make our community unique. Whether it’s a treasured family recipe, a favorite dessert, a holiday dish, or a weeknight staple, every submission helps tell the story of Bedford through food.
Sponsored by Matchgirl Productions and brought to you by the Bedford Downtown Alliance, the cookbook will serve as a collection of the meals and memories shared by residents throughout the community.
If you’ve been thinking about submitting a recipe, now is a great time to do it. There’s still time to add your favorite dish to the cookbook and become part of this community project.
