Someone did something worth celebrating? Give them a Bedford Bravo!
The Bedford Tribune wants to hear about the accomplishments, milestones, acts of kindness and everyday moments that make our community a little brighter. That’s why we’re introducing Bedford Bravos, a new way for residents to recognize the people and good news around them.
Did you get a promotion at work, earn a degree or reach an exciting milestone? That’s worth a Bravo!
Did your child receive an award, make the honor roll, score the winning goal or land the lead role in a school play? Give them a Bravo!
Maybe a teacher went above and beyond for your student. Perhaps a local employee provided exceptional service. Maybe your neighbor mowed your lawn while you were sick, shoveled your sidewalk after a snowstorm or simply showed up when you needed a helping hand.
We want to hear about it.
Bedford Bravos aren’t limited to major accomplishments. We want to celebrate the little victories and everyday kindnesses, too. Sometimes something that seems small to one person can mean the world to someone else.
And yes, you can even submit a Bravo for yourself! Good news is worth sharing.
Submitting one is easy. Just tell us who deserves the Bravo, what they did and why you’d like to recognize them. If you have a photo to go along with your submission, you’re welcome to send that as well.
Bravos can recognize residents, students, teachers, coaches, volunteers, teams, organizations, local businesses and others connected to the Bedford community. Submissions should be positive and respectful and will be reviewed before publication.
There will always be serious news to report. But a community newspaper should also make room for the moments that make us proud of the people around us.
So, Bedford, who deserves a Bravo?
