On 12/11/21 the complainant went to the Bedford US Post Office and placed a letter, which contained a check from the complainant’s checking account, in a public mailbox. The check was made out for $203. On 01/13/22, she was alerted that the same check was cashed by an unknown suspect who altered the check’s value to $1800. When the complainant notified her bank of the fraudulent actions, she was told to make a police report.

A driver of a beige Chevy had her back window shattered when she backed into a bread truck. The truck is no longer on the scene and she does not have their information. The operator of Vehicle 1 stated she was parked in a parking space facing south in the parking lot. She backed out of the parking space and struck a truck, which caused her rear windshield to shatter. The operator of Unit 1 stated the truck she struck was parked in the fire lane facing west. The operator of Unit 2 left the parking lot without speaking with her. An officer spoke with employees, who stated the truck was there to deliver bread to the business. The employee did not have any information on the truck, operator or company that owned the truck.

The caller is the landlord and said the tenants called him and said that a plow truck ran into his house again. The plow driver is no longer on the scene. There is more damage that needs to be reported. The caller is not on the scene but the tenant witnessed the occurrence. Contact was made with the caller. He was advised that his complaint would be noted and was advised that his issue could be brought to the attention of the Bedford Small Claims Court if he felt it necessary.

On 01/19/2022 officers spoke with a complainant about an unknown person(s) entering her home. Upon speaking with the complainant, she advised she gave her spare keys to the family members that owned the house, and she believes they entered the house and stole a TV and furniture. At this time she has no proof that it was the family members that entered the house, and she advised she does not want the person(s) charged. She did advise she would like for them to leave her alone until she is done moving out. An officer then spoke with one of the family members on the phone and they advised that she had completely moved out of the house with all of her personal items and should no longer be in the residence.

The complainant reported his deceased father’s vehicle stolen. His father had a girlfriend that is driving the vehicle. He said that his father passed away in July 2021. The son has been trying to get the executor paperwork together to prove he is in charge of the estate. Officers spoke with the female involved by phone. She stated she did not take the vehicle out of the garage. She claims the family locked her out of the house. The complainant was advised to get more paperwork on the vehicle and check with the bank from where the vehicle is leased. The complainant will follow up after collecting the information.

The caller said someone is scamming him saying that he’s buying child pornography. Officers spoke with the complainant who advised he was contacted by the FBI in regards to purchasing child pornography. Upon speaking with the complainant, the male advised that last year he added several sex accounts. He stated that he unknowingly added a child pornography account. He stated once he discovered this, he deleted and reported the account. The complainant advised that he thinks this is related to that incident, and at this time he would just like the incident documented.

The complainant states that the landlord told her grandson to take care of the complainant, and the grandson then told the complainant that he was going to “f— them up.” He also stated he will move their belongings out of the house himself in 30 days. There is a male in the lobby in reference to a custody dispute. The mother of his kid was supposed to meet him at the Bedford Police Department today at 1530 hours, but she did not show up with the caller’s 14-year-old son. The male does not have his paperwork with him. The complainant stated his son’s mother does this from time to time. He does not know exactly where they live but knows it’s in Bedford. He’s attempted to contact his son on his cell phone but there is no answer. The complainant just wishes that the information be on file since his son’s mother is not complying with the agreement.

The complainant came in to report a stolen check from the Garfield Heights Post Office mailbox. She said some unknown person broke into the mailboxes at the branch and stole the mail. She had dropped off a check, but it was stolen from the box, altered and cashed for $3,200. Her bank is refunding the money to her account. She was advised to make the report with Garfield Heights Police Department. The post office is aware of the mailboxes being broken into.

A female is in the lobby of the police department for a fraud report. The female stated she received a call from her bank, advising there was fraudulent activity on her account regarding two checks attempting to be cashed. The female stated she made one check out to a hospital for $80 and another to AT&T for the same amount, and dropped the checks off to the Bedford Post Office some time before 1/7/22. Her bank advised the female that two of her checks were altered to the amount of $5,995.95 each and were attempted to be cashed into an unknown person’s account. No money was withdrawn from the female’s account, and the bank transferred all information to a new account.

The complainant stated that she contacted a contractor about an estimate for a house she wants to purchase in Maple Heights. The contractor told her he needed to plow the driveway for $30 before he could give an estimate. The complainant did not have her wallet with her. She claims the contractor followed her to her residence in Bedford and when she told him she could pay with a debit card, he told her he only accepts cash. She claims he used vulgar language toward her. The complainant states now that the contractor keeps texting her about the money owed and threatening her. An officer observed the back and forth texting between her and the contractor, and there were no direct threats. An officer spoke with the contractor on the phone, and he stated that he went to the house in Maple and he believes that the complainant has stolen materials that she wants him to install on the home, and he wants nothing to do with the work. The officer told him to have no further contact with her, and she will have no further contact with him.

The complainant came on station to report a lost wallet. He believes he dropped it in his driveway about a week ago. He had several credit cards inside the wallet that were all deactivated. The complainant also wanted to report that his CCW permit was lost with the wallet. He needed a police report to get a new one made. One of his credit card companies notified him that someone did try to use the card, but the card transaction was denied.

The caller said that a male at this residence has a gun and threatened to pistol whip her. She is five-months pregnant. He did not physically harm the caller, but he is still at the house. The caller said he hides the gun in the house when she threatens to call the police. The male is on house arrest. The caller is not at the house. The dispatch contacted the female again, who refused to provide any information. When asked where she was she said, “Obviously not with him.” She stated she’s been calling for days and that the police keep calling her back. She disconnected on dispatch again and now the phone goes to voicemail. The male was not at home when officers arrived. They spoke with his mother who advised he has been having problems with the female caller who is known to make up stories about her son. The caller is a Cleveland resident and would need to file the report with them. Checks OK for now.

The caller advised that when she was sleeping, the father of her child came into the house and took their child at 0430 hours in the morning. The caller doesn’t know how he got in the house. The male is known to carry a weapon. The dad doesn’t have custody rights per the mom. The mom advised he has made verbal threats in the past to harm her, but not the child. The mom advised he resides in Las Vegas, but just came back within the last few days. The mom is not sure if he left for Las Vegas with the child.

A male threatened the caller over tree work that is being done at a neighboring house. The male keeps putting his hand underneath his shirt like he has a weapon, but none was ever brandished. The officers spoke to the male. He agreed to a pat down and had no weapons. The male was intoxicated and was upset because his boss had to back out of the driveway. He was advised to go inside and leave the tree crew alone to do their job. The complainant was satisfied and will call back if there’s another issue.

Someone broke out the windows to the caller’s vehicle. The female caller stated she was inside the bar from 1630 hours until the time of the call. When she went to her vehicle to leave, she noticed her rear windshield was shattered. The caller advised nothing was taken from the vehicle, and she couldn’t think of anyone who would damage her vehicle. An officer spoke to a manager who stated she would review camera footage and notify dispatch if anything evidential value was found.

Officers spoke with the complainant in the lobby who states that a female will not stop calling and texting him. The complainant states that the female has been begging him to be in a relationship with him, and he is refusing. The complainant advised that he has changed his number and blocked the female several times, but she somehow keeps finding him, and he is afraid because she knows where he lives. The complainant would like the female advised to stop attempting to contact him. Officers made contact with the female via phone advising her not to contact the complainant. She states she only called the complainant requesting property that was left in his vehicle, and she will stop.

Officers spoke with the male who advised he dropped his cigarettes in the area, and he was looking for them. He was advised to keep walking.

Once again the complainant was told to call when she sees the people at her complex and to install a camera in her apartment to catch the alleged perpetrator(s) on video.

Officers made contact with the female complainant who advised her two daughters were involved in an altercation with each other, and that she would like the daughter who does not reside there to leave. Officers made contact with the daughter who is pregnant and currently in possession of her three juvenile children. The daughter advised she did not want to leave the residence until the mother gave her back her cell phone that she gifted the mother. The mother advised that it was not the daughter’s cell phone. The daughter was advised by officers that it is a civil matter. At this time, all parties declined to be seen by EMS and appeared to check okay. Due to the daughter not having proper child seats for her children, she was advised to stay separated in the basement of the residence until her other family member arrives to transport her and the children home. Both parties were advised to keep the peace for the evening.

An officer is checking the area for an older-model tan or gold-colored Buick with front end damage.

The complainant reports a male pushed her and shoved snow in her face. The female had gone to pick up their children and take them to school. Upon arrival, all of the kids were still asleep. When the female brought this issue up to the male, she said he became angry, began yelling at her and told her he was going to have the kids stay home from school. The female did not want the kids to stay home, and both parties continued to argue. When the female was almost out of the house, the male pushed her out and told her not to come back. He then picked up snow and pushed it in her face. The female is currently in the process of filing for divorce and was advised on how to report truancy with the school.

A male stated that his child’s mother came into his apartment while he was gone and stole some electronics. The caller advised that the female convinced maintenance that she was his sister and was allowed to be there. That is how she got inside. The caller stated he has a protection order against this female. He said management let her into his apartment where she stole a TV remote and HDMI cable. Management eventually made her leave once she tried to take the TV. The male wishes to pursue charges for theft. Later the male came to the station to add another missing item to the report. He stated a child support form is missing and it has his Social Security number on it.

Officers responded to a report of a road rage incident. A male driver advised dispatch that a second male threatened him with a gun. When officers arrived on scene, a felony stop was conducted on the second male’s vehicle and he was detained. Officers observed an infant in the second male’s vehicle with a female. The female advised officers that the first male stated he was an undercover officer and threatened to shoot them. The first male was then detained. At this point, a protective sweep of the parties immediate sitting areas was conducted in both vehicles with no weapons located. The two males declined to sign any charges and were advised on how to properly handle road rage incidents.

The caller wants to file a report because her neighbor is harassing her and smoking marijuana in his apartment. The complainant advised that her downstairs neighbor has been harassing her for the last year by pounding on the ceiling and disrupting her daily activities. The male downstairs stated the complainant continues to pound on her kitchen floor whenever something inconveniences her, which disrupts him. The parties were advised to avoid interaction with each other and to keep the peace.

The complainant wanted to report damage to her vehicle. This is an ongoing issue from a TPO violation case. Her windshield wipers were ripped off and a front right tire was slashed. The complainant talked to management and the cameras are not working in the parking lot. She did not see the person that caused the damage. She believes the female that she has a protection order against is the person that did the damage. She believes the female is using friends and ghost accounts to harass her. There were text messages sent to her phone that make reference to the damage to her windshield wipers and tire. The text message was sent through a friend’s account of the female. The complainant said she is working with an officer about the case, but wanted the report taken today.

A verbal argument was occurring between grandparents and a granddaughter. The granddaughter, who was highly intoxicated, stated it was only a verbal argument and nothing physical occurred. When the highly intoxicated grandmother was asked what occurred, she first stated her granddaughter only verbally threatened to choke her. The grandmother then stated the granddaughter came at her but didn’t actually choke her. The grandmother’s third version of events advised that the granddaughter did physically choke her. The grandparents were satisfied with the granddaughter leaving with her sister for the night.

She stated her son called her, and she could hear another male in the background before hanging up the phone. When the mother arrived she stated her son had left and the windows of the home were broken. She explained he may have a change of mental status and might have broken the windows himself. The mother advised her son in the past would travel to her home in Maple Heights. The Maple Heights Police were advised, and they located the son in Maple Heights.

A male is calling and stating that his child’s mother picked up the child and won’t leave. She keeps harassing people in the home, including him. The female had come over to get her 8-month-old son from the baby’s father, because the male had a female friend over to the house. The mother picked up her son but stayed in front of the house in her vehicle for over an hour for no reason. The male called the police which upset the female even more. She was irate over her son being around another female. Officers were able to convince the mother to leave the area without further incident.

The complainant advised that a female is texting him and stating that she is in a vehicle at the Cee Ray and someone is keeping her in the car. The female sent a picture of her legs saying that she is in the back seat and there are other people in the car — a large male and a female. She told the complainant that the female stole her car yesterday. An officer responded to the area and advised that he would be in the area of CVS on Solon Road and Northfield Road. The officer observed a possible match to the vehicle in the main driveway by the office. A male exited the office and entered the vehicle. The vehicle is traveling north on Northfield. The officer advised that he would be attempting to stop the car on Northfield Road before Rockside Road. Emergency lights and siren are now in use. The car in question is not stopping. Terminating chase at I-480 because it’s too dangerous. Officer will respond back to the Cee Ray to see who rented the room. When the male disconnected the car, it had made it to Independence.

Officers responded to the residence for a report of suspicion due to the resident, who was home alone, advising he believes someone was attempting to enter his residence. Officers spoke with the resident who did not see anyone but did advise that footprints in the snow were new. Officers followed the footprints from the front of the residence to the rear. The footprints then continued to another home but the prints then ended. Officers checked the immediate area and located nothing else suspicious. The resident advised he believes his brother is in rehabilitation for drug abuse and may be attempting to enter the residence. The resident was advised to contact the police department if the issues continue. At this time, the residence and surrounding area check OK.

A Giant Eagle employee called to report that a possible shoplifter, who the Giant Eagle security team has an alert on for fraud, is in the store. The employee is advising that the officer working security just chased the shoplifter out of the store and there was a struggle with the subject. Another male involved got away. The male subject was detained and identified. Dispatch advised he was EWW with the South Euclid Police Department and Parma Police Department. The officer said that he was following the two males in the store. He saw them with gift cards in their hands. The subjects noticed the officer following them, so they split up. He said he lost sight of them for a couple minutes. He tried to stop the two males at the exit doors, but could only get one male to cooperate. One of the males was taken to the office and detained. The officer working security had the male empty all of his pockets. No gift cards were found. The officer believes he was able to hide them in the store. The male was advised not to return to the store or he will be charged with trespassing.

The complainant advised that on 12/12/21 his wife wrote a check from their bank account to Dominion Ohio for $153.41. They mailed the check to Dominion, and Dominion sent a late notice to the complainants. They stated they waited for their bank statement to check on the status of the written check and discovered that the check was cashed for $8,656.26. The complainant stated that he went to the bank and they provided him with a copy of the check that was cashed. The check is in a format that the issued bank checks and was made payable to an individual person. The complainant states that he and his wife do not know the person. The officer photocopied the check register to verify that the check was written to Dominion Energy. Money was taken from the caller’s bank account. A report was filed and the bank will also conduct an investigation into the matter.

Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant who was outside of the residence. He stated that his wife kicked him in the left hip area and hit him with the door when she was forcing her way into the bedroom. The complainant advised that they are going through a difficult divorce and that she is constantly hitting him. He advised that she had called the police on two previous occasions. Officers spoke to the female in the residence who also advised of the difficult divorce. She advised that he came over last night because he had nowhere to go and was intoxicated. There were no visible injuries to the male. The male stated that he wanted to pursue charges against the female for hitting him. An officer advised the male that he would need to respond to the station for a written statement and photographs of his injuries. The male advised that he had videos of two incidents that happened. He showed a video that was taken by a family member that showed the female pushing the bedroom door open and hitting him in the arm. He also showed another video of them in the kitchen and the female becoming upset and throwing food items at him. The officer requested copies of the videos for the report. The male was again advised of his options to complete a statement, and he stated that he would come in after work.

The complainant stated that a co-worker was reconciling the Bedford City School District’s payroll account when she noticed two sets of repeated check numbers. The first time that those checks were issued was on 9/17/2021 for a total of $2,347.30. The same check numbers were used again to different individuals on 12/31/2021 and 1/12/2022 for a total of $10,030.18. The complainant provided copies of the fraudulent checks. The complainant contacted the bank about the fraudulent activity. All paperwork will be forwarded to the detective bureau for follow-up.

Officers responded to the residence for a report of an assault. Officers made contact with the female who advised while she was present at the residence, the male threw her into the snow and struck her in the face with either a close fist or open hand. The female did have a small cut to her right pinky finger which was photographed. The female did not have any other visible injuries and declined EMS. Also present on scene was a female witness, who identified herself as the male’s sister. The female stated she observed the female complainant push the male and that is when the male pushed her to the ground. Officers asked the male what occurred and he advised the female complainant attempted to enter the residence as his girlfriend and he were entering the front door of the residence. The male advised he then pushed the female complainant out of the residence in an attempt to prevent her from entering. The male then advised the incident was captured on his doorbell camera. Officers viewed the footage which did show the female complainant attempting to enter the residence, and the male pushing her out of the doorway. The footage then showed the male running toward the female complainant in the front yard of the residence and another physical altercation ensues. The male advised officers that he was attempting to escort the female complainant back to her vehicle in an attempt to get her to leave the residence. Officers then asked the female complainant if she was aware the male’s girlfriend was present with the male. The female complainant advised she was not aware but then alluded to possibly knowing the female was with him. Both parties advised the altercation was regarding previous relationship issues involving the complainant, girlfriend and male. The female complainant did advise officers she would like to pursue criminal charges against the male for assault.

The male is still outside the door listening to her conversation. The caller can hear noises. It sounds like things are being broken in the living room. The caller advised that when the police knock on the door, he will not answer, and he will try to stop her from answering the door. The caller advised she just wants him to leave. She doesn’t want to make a deal about it. The male is in the back, by the bathroom. She has started the conversation again to make him think she is talking to her dad. The male was eventually transported by officers and turned over to the Northfield Police Department.

The necklace was last seen a few days before Christmas, and the female has reached out to family who visited him in the past, but they also do not know where it could be. Officers responded to the above location for a report of a domestic from a third party caller. Dispatch told officers the male involved left prior to their arrival in a blue or gray Ford. An official was able to make contact with the female, who said it did get physical between the couple after the male had seen messages on her phone. The female said she didn’t have visible injuries. Officers observed the vehicle matching the suspect’s in the area. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and it contained the male in question. The male stated that he got into a verbal argument with the female over finding out that she was cheating on him. The male stated that the argument got more serious and the female started to push the male around. The male state that he pushed her back but did not strangle her or strike her. The male was advised that the female did not want him back for the night and the male agreed to go stay at his father’s house for a while.

The complainant states she was provided by the companies with an email of the person who created the accounts and she recognized the name as a male she went to school with many years ago. She contacted the male and stated that he agreed to pay the balance if she didn’t report him, but she never heard from him again. The complainant stated that she has already been in contact with the credit bureaus and multiple companies disputing the charges. She was advised by officers to also contact the Social Security office and to follow additional steps involving identitytheft.gov.

She states that she has been allowing him to stay with her for the past two weeks. The complainant also advised that he has no property at her residence. While officers were still present, the complainant called the son, and officers advised him not to return to the property. The son did not acknowledge the officers, however, and hung up the phone. Officers attempted to make contact with the son again, but were unable to. Officers left a voicemail advising him of the trespassing and to return the property he took prior to leaving.

While in the female’s car, the caller stated she took around $100 in cash from him in the parking lot. The caller stated the female then proceeded to leave the motel in her vehicle while the caller was still getting out of the vehicle. The caller stated he has known the female for 10 years, but does not know her last name or where she lives. The male did not have any visible injuries. Officers were unable to locate the female matching the Facebook description or locate the described vehicle. The caller was advised to come into the police station to file a written statement to pursue criminal charges.

The daughter believes the suspect to be her ex-boyfriend. The vehicle owners do not want to pursue charges, they would just like to be reimbursed for the damages done. He states that he has not contacted the family in a month, nor has he been to the property. He stated that the relationship didn’t end well.

After providing the info, $1000 was taken from her savings account. She has already reported the incident to her bank and has taken preventative steps to combat identity theft.

An officer spoke with the complainant on the scene who states that an unknown male driving a black Hummer exited his vehicle and walked up to the resident’s door and jiggled the door knob in an attempt to enter the home. The male could be seen on Ring doorbell footage walking away from the door and re-entering his vehicle on the street. The homeowner was able to capture a picture of the vehicle plate. The complainant stated this is the same male who in December 2021 removed from his porch a pair of shoes that had been delivered. The caller lost his wallet at Giant Eagle, and someone turned it in. The employee he spoke with stated that a customer found his wallet in an unspecified area inside the store and returned it to the customer service desk. Once the male returned to retrieve his wallet, he observed $200 missing out of the $300 that he initially had in it. An officer followed up with Giant Eagle and reviewed video surveillance. The caller is shown removing his wallet from his pocket and paying with a credit card. He then put the credit card away and placed the wallet back into his pocket and walked out of the store after the transaction was complete. Video surveillance did not capture anything after the male exited the store.

The comments include, “It’s gonna get really ugly around here,” and “something is gonna give, I’m gonna take care of this.” Also the male, while making comments, has been pointing his fingers as if he has a handgun and positioning his arms as if he is holding a rifle. The complainants state they feel unsafe due to this male previously threatening neighbors with a gun in January. After that earlier episode, he returned and asked neighbors, “Who called the police?” as if he was gonna hurt who the caller was. For the time being, they would like the issue documented as they feel there will be further issues with the male.

Whenever she blocked the numbers, more phone numbers appeared. She called Apple IT and was told they will be assisting her, but she may need to call her phone provider as well. AT&T said the issue she is dealing with can only be addressed by Apple. The complainant was not sure if she should file a police report regarding the matter. Officers were unable to determine who the laughing caller was, and according to the complainant, there were no threats or no mention of her or her family in the Instagram video. An employee reporting that a table just walked out on their bill. They are standing in the doorway arguing with the server right now. The parties were trying to work it out with the employee. Officers spoke to the male who stated he was upset over not receiving the food he ordered in a timely manner. The male offered to pay for the drinks he received but the manager declined. The manager was upset that the male ordered food and left before the cooks could finish making it. The manager excused the male and stated they did not have to pay for the drinks and just wanted them to leave the business, to which the male complied.

A male walked out of the store with a whole cart of food. A squad is requested for the a male with chest pains. He has multiple warrants. The male was readmitted to the Bedford Medical Center. Administration sent a message to the county advising on warrants. Due to a medical issue, a personal bond was issued with a new court date of 04/04/2022.

The caller states around 1900 hours, her ex-husband broke into her house through her bedroom window and stole about $600 and trashed her room. She advised that her 18-year-old daughter was home when it happened but was afraid to call. The daughter advised the complainant that she heard a person in the bedroom, and then observed her father walking down the hallway of the residence. The complainant also advised they are currently going through a divorce and are still legally married. An officer attempted to make contact with the male via his telephone number but was unsuccessful. While on the scene, officers did not observe any signs of forced entry into the residence. At this time, the female was advised to contact the police if the male returns and was advised of how to obtain a civil protection order through the court.

A male from a previous call stated his ex returned back to his home, and they got into another physical altercation. The male stated his ex somehow got access to his firearm in the apartment during the altercation. There was a struggle over obtaining the firearm. The male stated after their physical altercation that he then left to file a report. After officers advised the male complainant about filling out statements, and then reached out to the female for her statement of the story, the complainant became upset over his options on how to proceed with possible criminal charges. The complainant stated he did not want any further police assistance and left.

Officers spoke with the complainant who advised that while at the gas station, she was in an altercation with a coworker. The complainant advised that the coworker approached her, and in self-defense, the complainant put her hands up. She states that she is unsure how, but she landed on top of the coworker, and they got into a physical altercation. Officers then spoke with the coworker who stated that while at the gas station, the complainant approached her and started a physical altercation. Due to conflicting statements and both parties denying charges, no charges will be placed at this time. Both parties stated that they will keep the peace, and the employer of the two females advised that he will keep them separated in the work space.

Officers responded to the listed address for a report of a domestic. Officers spoke with the caller who stated her husband was under the influence of meth once again and began acting irrationally. He punched a hole in a wall and threw his cell phone across a room, causing it to break. He then left the home on foot to the area of Center Road and Ellenwood Avenue where officers met with him. The male was calm and collected, walked back home and stated he would relax in his room until his friend came over to pick him up to cool off for the day in order to keep the peace. The caller was advised of her options as she continues to put up with her husband’s poor life choices.

A male just stole stuff out of a truck parked behind Gionino’s. The male is still in the lot, and the caller has a picture of him. The male is grabbing a bunch of boxes and throwing them in the back seat of his car. An officer spoke to the owner of Gionnino’s Pizza who advised that they have cameras in the rear of the building and might have video of the male walking around the rear of the business. The delivery truck driver called to say two boxes of sausage toppings and two boxes of chicken were taken from his truck, totaling $135.

The complainant stated that she received several text messages yesterday. The texts came from random numbers, but the complainant feels they came from a male she met on Facebook a year ago or possibly his girlfriend. She stated that she has changed her phone number several times, but somehow she receives these messages. No names were used, but the complainant feels the two people she suspects saw her in a photo that a friend had recently posted on Facebook. She was advised that the information would be on file and to call if unwanted person(s) should show up at her residence. She was also given advice on civil protection orders. Photos were taken of the text messages. The complainant reported receiving another text message presumably from the same person(s). The text included a squirt gun and coffin emoji. The complainant stated she will be changing her phone number. All messages were sent via random numbers.

Officers spoke with a juvenile female at the listed location who states that some juvenile females whom she has fought in the past — and is currently on probation because of — keep contacting her via text stating that they would come to her home to fight her. The female states that she has changed her phone number at least four times, but the females somehow keep getting the new number and continue to message her. The numbers that the females are texting from are “text-free” numbers and have no identifying info. The complainant, her mother, and her probation officer were advised that the situation would be documented and to contact officers if either suspect comes to her home.

The complainant stated he was applying for loans and was contacted by “David Johnson” from “Capital One Finance.” The complainant stated Johnson deposited $995 into his account for verification of the loan. The complainant then purchased two Apple gift cards valued at $400 each. The complainant gave Johnson the gift card numbers and then realized it was a scam. The complainant contacted Apple and his bank.

Officers responded and spoke with both parties who stated there was a verbal argument between the two. The complainant stated that while her granddaughter was trying to remove her belongings, the complainant was pushed down causing her to scrape her hand. The granddaughter denied pushing the complainant down and stated she tripped and fell on the stoop. The complainant’s sister on the scene stated she witnessed the complainant fall but was unsure if she was pushed or tripped. The granddaughter gathered some of her belongings and left for the evening. The complainant was advised to contact the police for an escort when the granddaughter returns to gather the rest of her items. The granddaughter was advised of her warrant with Mayfield Heights.

The female called her bank and found that the check was cashed in recently by a male a certain male. The bank was not able to give the female the location of where the check was cashed. The female has already made a claim with the bank. The complainant confirmed she mailed the check in Bedford. She was asked to provide a copy of the check.

The complainant advised she applied to a job on the website indeed.com and was going through the hiring process with a company by the name of Synergie. She states that the company told her to print out a check, take it to the bank, and buy the supplies necessary to start working for the company. Upon attempting to deposit the check, her bank advised that they would be unable to deposit the check due to the check being a fraudulent check. The complainant advised that she would like the incident documented.
