The North Randall Police Department is asking for a Bedford officer to respond to Mookies Beverage. Officers are out with a victim, who states he was assaulted at the above location. He is unable to come to the police department. The report was updated to say the incident didn’t happen in Bedford. It either happened in Warrensville Heights or Maple Heights.

The male caller states that he is being attacked by a female. He states she has a knife with her. The male is screaming for another male to get his sister. A female was screaming in the back. The female left prior to the arrival of officers. The male is highly intoxicated and irate. He was uncooperative in explaining what exactly happened. He was advised to come to the police department lobby when he is sober to follow up if he wishes.

The caller is saying a male pulled a gun on him, and he had to break a window to get out of the apartment. He is bleeding badly from his arm. The caller said he is in the middle of the field. The male with the gun said he would kill himself and the caller. He is possibly still in the apartment. The squad can proceed, since the scene is secured. The caller’s story of escaping through a window did not appear to be true as the window was broken from the outside in. The male gathered his belongings and left the apartment with a damaged phone. Both parties admitted to breaking each other’s property throughout the night.

A male is waiting in his car in the parking lot to file an assault report on his girlfriend. The male was extremely distraught over the actions of his girlfriend. He stated she constantly makes fun of him, talks down to him and is generally verbally abusive. The male is tired of living like this and doesn’t believe a person should act this way towards another they care about. The male advised his girlfriend struck him in the genitals several days ago, but he declined charges as there was no lasting injury. The male was given options for eviction and obtaining a civil protection order.

A male came into the store and male grabbed about $500 of cigarettes. If he entered a car, there is no vehicle description. The male suspect did scan his ID for the purchase.

A resident needs to speak with an officer in reference to her child’s father damaging her car. He did this last week. They had a dispute earlier this morning around 0200 hours. The male is not there at this time. The caller cannot come to the station as she has an infant. The caller claims she is afraid of the male. An officer spoke with the complainant. She was advised to go to Domestic Relations Court to obtain visitation for her 3-month-old child. She was advised to contact the police should the male appear at the home. The officer attempted to call the male and advise him not to show up at the home unless he is invited, but there was no answer.

A female customer threatened to shoot up the business earlier today at around 1800 hours. The customer had left and then returned and was speaking to customers outside at the business. The caller advised they are keeping the doors locked until the police arrive. Officers made contact with the female who was attempting to leave the business in her listed vehicle. For officer safety, the officer ordered the female out of the vehicle and she advised she did not possess a firearm. The female customer advised in April of 2023, she purchased the listed vehicle, and she is now experiencing numerous mechanical and cosmetic issues. The female admitted to making a comment regarding “shooting up the business” but only so that an employee would help her. An officer spoke with the employee who advised they only wished to have the female trespassed at this time, and they also provided her with a corporate phone number to contact regarding her complaint. The female customer was advised of trespassing and of how to pursue the matter civilly. The female customer left the area without further incident. No further police action was needed at this time.

The caller just woke up and heard a chainsaw or drill. The subjects involved had a car jacked up. The caller saw them take the catalytic converter. The suspects left in a Volkswagon Jetta. The vehicle that was damaged was an SUV. A police chase ensued with speeds reaching 98 miles per hour. The car entered I-480 going east.

A caller needs to report damage done to her basketball hoop. She believes it was her child’s father who did this overnight. He is not on the scene right now. She said the police were out yesterday involving him. She has a camera facing the driveway but stated no images could be captured. The hoop was pushed over and it caused damage. She will call if the male comes around the home again.

The complainant came to the station to report her vehicle stolen. She said that her car was being fixed at the Kia of Bedford on June 10. She claims it was towed there by her insurance company. On June 12, the Garfield Heights Police Department called her to say they had her vehicle and it was involved in an accident. She is claiming that the vehicle was stolen from Kia of Bedford. Kia told her that they never had her car on their lot. The complainant could not answer why she did not report the vehicle stolen on June 12. She claims Garfield Heights did not tell her to report it stolen. She was told to get some paperwork from her insurance company that shows the vehicle was towed to Kia.

An officer spoke to the complainant who stated that she went out to her car to get her wallet and noticed it was missing. She stated that she looked at her cameras, and observed a juvenile wearing a backpack walk down her driveway and stop at the passenger seat of her vehicle. She then stated the camera cut off so she wasn’t able to see any more footage. She advised that she did not know who the juvenile was, and she did leave her car unlocked.

A female is reporting that sometime last night an unknown person slashed the four tires on her Honda. She did not have the vehicle with her to photograph and gather any evidence. Her home Ring camera did catch the perpetrator, and she will send the video to the Bedford Police Department. She suspects her cousin did it because she had an argument with her. The person on the video appears to be a male.

An officer spoke to the above complainant who stated he has a protection order against his girlfriend. The complainant stated that he put tape on the front and side doors after leaving. When he arrived back home, he observed the tape seal on the doors to be broken, and the front door to be left wide open. He has reason to believe that she came over to the house at some point while he was gone because she still has a key to the house. Later, the complainant came to the station wanting to eliminate his girlfriend as a suspect. He stated a “local person from the neighborhood” opened the door through the milk chute. He said he does not know who the ‘neighborhood person’ is but this happens once a month or so. He was advised the information would be added to the report.

The caller states her roomate smacked her in the head three times. The caller ran outside and was waiting for officers. The female caller was highly intoxicated and stated she had been smacked in the head by her male roommate. The male refused to leave and stated he did not smack the female. There were no visible injuries to the female, who also refused to leave. Both parties agreed to separate for the night and will call if the arguing continues.

The caller needs to make a report for a stolen license plate. The caller’s neighbor saw a red two-door sports car stop and steal the plate off of the car about an hour ago. On callback to get the plate number, the caller advised it was only the cover to the license plate that was stolen and not the actual plate.

Someone in a silver Kia van was shooting a pellet gun at the caller by the municipal center. The caller stated that he did not want to make a report, but just have officers check the area. The caller was advised to come to the station if he wanted to make a report. An additional caller advised the car also went past W. Grace Street. The caller advised they saw the vehicle shooting the pellet gun, but they did not get hit. The caller does not want to speak to officers.

Ellenwood Avenue (Ellenwood Recreation Center)
An employee states there was a male wearing shorts and a tank top trying to open the door and then left on foot. The caller stated the male is possibly intoxicated, and he is now back in the parking lot. The employee does not want to speak to officers, he just wants them to check the area. An officer is out with the subject at the pavilion. The subject will be transferred to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO). The subject initially was trying to get inside to charge his phone and then went to the pavilion and was charging it there. An officer is en route to the county with the subject. He was found to have numerous warrants and CCSO confirmed theirs. Prior to him being transferred, a toy pistol, a box cutter, and a crack pipe were located in his bag along with his medications. Those three items were removed from his bag and placed into property before he was transported. The building checked out OK.

The caller states that a male is walking in between Body Revolutions and possibly Phil’s Convenience. The male was on the property looking in windows. The caller was a passerby and no longer in the area. An officer checked the area, the subject was gone on arrival.

The male advised he was in a verbal altercation with his live-in girlfriend when she shattered a window on his vehicle. Officers spoke with the female, who stated the male damaged her vehicle door. Both vehicles did show damage and both parties were advised to keep the peace. The female advised she would be moving out and just requested access to the apartment due to the male changing the locks. He was advised to allow her access, and if they needed further assistance, to call the police.

A male in his late 30s early 40s, wearing all black, comes in on a regular basis and tries to intimidate the caller, which is the manager. He stole beer yesterday. The male got into a vehicle trying to get the driver of the vehicle to go inside to purchase the tobacco today. The store requires ID to purchase tobacco and alcohol, and this male will not give an ID. The caller wants the male trespassed. The subject was in a parked car outside the store. The subject was advised of the complaint and asked not to return to the store.
