The Bedford Historical Society invites families to step into a world of imagination and whimsy at its Dr. Seuss 122nd Birthday Celebration on Saturday, February 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The celebration will take place in the Old Church on the Square Community Room (lower level), located at 750 Broadway Avenue in Bedford.
This free, family-friendly event promises a morning and afternoon filled with creativity and fun. Children can enjoy a craft table where they’ll create take-home art inspired by their favorite Dr. Seuss stories. A special Dr. Seuss book reading will bring beloved characters and rhymes to life for young readers and listeners alike.
Guests can also enjoy hot dogs, chips, and green punch while supplies last. Donations are welcome and help support the Historical Society’s ongoing programs and preservation efforts in the community.
Whether you grew up reading The Cat in the Hat or are introducing these classic stories to a new generation, this celebration is a wonderful way to gather with family, friends, and neighbors for a few hours of Seussian fun.
For families looking for a free, local activity during the winter season, this event offers creativity, community, and plenty of smiles.
