Caller believes she hears a child crying and saying “Ouch” on Broadway Avenue near the intersection Grace Street. Callers wants an officer to check the area. Officer arrived and found small child with his mother waiting for the bus. All is OK.

Female in a gray car screaming at a male at the top of her lungs. Caller does not think the couple live at the complex. Caller states they have been there for over 15 minutes and the argument is getting worse. Caller hung up when asked her information. The area was checked and no disturbance was located.

Caller states her 20-year-old daughter is causing problem in the home — nothing physical at this time. No drinking involved and no weapons. Officers spoke to the complainant and her adult daughter. The daughter was acting disrespectful and mouthed off to her mother several times. The daughter was advised of disorderly conduct due to her outbursts. The mother was advised of how to start the eviction project and both parties agreed to keep it down for the evening.

Caller is hearing pounding noises on the street behind her. Upon arrival, officer noticed a neighbor on Gould taking items from his trunk and going into his house. The side door slamming was somewhat loud, but unknown if that was the cause for the call. All quiet afterwards.

Officers spoke to the male in the lobby in regards to an argument that occurred last night. The male picked up his female friend from an address on Southview Road. When the female made sexual advances, the complainant had a change of heart and didn’t want to jeopardize his relationship. The complainant then left the female friend at her residence and left the scene. The male had 30+ voicemails and missed calls from the female, who claimed she was at the hospital for injuries that he caused. He denied any physical altercation occurred, but believes she may try to make a false report in the future. The female has yet to make a report, and he was advised of his options.

Caller states there are three people outside her door singing and laughing and she doesn’t know who they are. No clothing description given. Female just wants officers to check the area. Officers checked the area. Suspects gone upon arrival.

Two males arguing back-and-forth. Female is in a jeep. No weapons. One male has bright red shirt with black pants and the other male is wearing a black and white leather jacket. Officers spoke to all persons involved and it was determined that it was a mutual verbal altercation with minor pushing and shoving between two males over property after a break-up. Both males were advised to cease contact with each other and of their civil options involving property.

Caller is requesting officers walk through the building due to two males that were smoking something. It is unknown what they were smoking, but the odor was really heavy and making its way into her apartment. Caller stated when she opened her apartment door, the males exited the building via the fire exit. Caller could not provide a description, but advised it’s an ongoing issue. Officer reported the odor, but the men were gone upon arrival.

Caller states the father of her child has their son in his custody. The father was supposed to return the son to his mother today but is failing to do so. She has a case pending with the court system in a different city. Caller would like to see if officers can check on her son and make sure he is OK. Officer reported the house on Archer was dark. No answer at the door. Dispatch updated the mother.

Two males fighting. One bleeding from the mouth. The other male is intoxicated. Males walking away towards Northfield Road. Male states that he saw two males fighting in the store. Caller did not see any weapons. Both males got into the same vehicle and drove away. The suspects were gone on arrival. The business checked OK.

Caller states there looks like two males were trying to break inside the store. The males were pushing on the door and were last seen heading down Broadway. One male had on a black hoodie. Management told police two employees just locked up and left.
Friday, Nov. 23 reports
Time: 1:54 a.m.

Location: Lee Road
Male and female yelling and screaming, and possibly throwing things. One male detained. Officers arrived and located a large group of family leaving the residence. All parties advised it was just a verbal argument between an intoxicated father and his juvenile son. While attempting to leave, one of the females realized she left her car keys in the apartment. Officers knocked on the door to avoid a confrontation with the father. The highly intoxicated male inside answered the door holding a serrated kitchen knife and was briefly detained. The keys were retrieved from inside the apartment and the parties departed. The male was released back into his apartment.

Caller states that he wants to leave but his girlfriend is going to cause issues if he does. No alcohol and nothing physical. Male stated that his girlfriend and he were arguing and that he wanted to leave the residence to stay at his brother’s for the night. The male stated he contacted police for documentation purposes of their argument.

Female says someone rang her doorbell and ran off. She was unable to get a description of the person. Officers responded to the listed address and spoke with the complainant. She stated last night and tonight someone has walked onto her front porch, rung her doorbell and left. She said that she was not expecting anyone and each time she could not get a description of the subject. The complainant was advised to call if she had any further issues. Officers checked the area and did not locate anyone.

Employee states that a male is refusing to pay his bill, and that the male is getting in the server’s face. Suspect appears to be in his 30s or 40s. There is also a female and three children with him. Officers responded to the listed address and spoke with both parties involved. The manager stated that the customer did not want to pay his whole bill due to a discrepancy. The issue with the bill was resolved and the customer paid.

Caller states there is a small black car in front of his house, and that a male got out and said he was from Marco’s Pizza. The caller did not answer the door because he did not order a pizza. The caller does not want to speak with police, he just wants them check the area for a black car. An officer responded to the listed address and did not observe the described vehicle in the area.

Resident keeps stating that someone keeps ringing her doorbell. Resident keeps telling him that he has the wrong apartment and he still repeatedly rings their doorbell. She states the male is in his 20s, wearing an unknown colored hoodie. Male kept stating that his mother lived there. Resident would like to speak with officers after they check the area. Female stated that the unknown male was ringing her doorbell for approximately 25 minutes. Officers checked the surrounding area for the male but it checked okay.

Location: Interstate 271 south
Garfield Heights is in pursuit of a carjacking with weapons. The chase started in Cleveland with highway patrol I-480 east to I-271 south. Bedford units were advised it was OK to disregard since car was already in Macedonia, but the pursuit came back up I-271 north approaching Broadway/Forbes. Macedonia had placed spike strips out. The car has been spiked, however continuing on northbound at a slow slow speed of approximately 10 mph approaching Broadway. Female was running on foot and is now in custody. Another person is still running and the Bedford Heights k-9 unit is en route. Bedford units are in the grassy median at Forbes. Dog is starting a track now. During the course of the foot pursuit the male was bit by the Oakwood Village k-9. No medical treatment needed.

Caller has left the area but says before she did, she could hear a woman screaming as if in some kind of awful distress. She said the sound was likely coming from around the area of the apartments near Union Street. Area was checked, and all was quiet.

Caller reporting there is an elderly female in an apartment and there is a suspicious male standing in front of the apartment. The elderly female told the caller he has been there for “a while” but it’s unknown exactly how long. Caller states he saw the male there as well about five minutes ago. The male wasn’t doing anything else suspicious other than standing in the area for an unknown amount of time. The male was gone upon the arrival of the police.

Female thinks someone is trying to break into her neighbor’s apartment with a crowbar. A male arrived in a dark van. He has a beard and a plaid shirt. He is possibly in his late 30s or early 40s. The male is currently at the door trying to get in. The male is now in his vehicle, possibly a Mercury with temp tags. He is headed out towards Union Street. An officer responded to the area. An officer located the vehicle and stopped the vehicle on the Northfield bridge. After identifying the male in the vehicle, an officer spoke with the resident who lives at the listed address and she stated that she had locked her keys in her apartment and had asked her friend to go over and attempt to get into her apartment. An officer checked the residence and confirmed the name of the female on the phone with the name on pieces of mail at the residence. Checked OK.

Caller states there are boys that shot off a fire extinguisher last week and they are now in the utility room messing around. The utility room is in the basement. Caller unsure how many kids are down there, but she hears them in there. Officers responded and located seven juveniles smoking Swisher Sweets in a maintenance room on the bottom floor of the apartment building. Some juveniles were cited as they were previously advised for being on the property.

Caller heard gunshots coming from the area behind the apartments, possibly near Sunoco. Caller is no longer in the area, and nothing was found. Everything checks OK.

Caller is in the hospital and would like us to check on her three children. She spoke to her husband and asked how the kids were and he would not answer her and would not let her speak to the kids. She said they did have an argument earlier. Officers spoke to male and he stated he and his wife were in an argument but did not specify over what. Officers observed children behind the male playing video games and appeared to be OK.

An officer observed two young males walking in the back lot of Family Dollar. They were identified and both are juveniles. Both subjects were dropped off at home with their guardians notified of curfew.

Caller states that there is a group of men and women screaming in the parking lot. Caller states that she can also hear loud music coming from this area. The bar was letting out for the night. No noise violations observed by officers when they arrived.

Caller’s boyfriend has been drinking and was choking her. She wants him to leave. He used to carry weapons. Unknown if he has one tonight. Maple Heights Police requesting mutual aid for this call. The female caller stated her boyfriend and father to her child choked her and damaged her TV. The male party stated the caller was the aggressor and attacked him. The male did have a broken tooth and an abrasion to his face. There were no apparent injuries to the female. Neither party wanted to pursue charges. They both were advised of their options and agreed to sleep in separate rooms for the evening.

Officers spoke with male about ongoing issue of the complainant calling police to check up on her child when he is with his father. Male stated that he was okay with police calling her to understand her side of the story. Officers also saw child in the house who appeared to check OK.

Female reporting her intoxicated 42-year-old daughter will not leave her residence. No weapons involved and nothing physical occurring. Mother states the daughter does not live there. When officers arrived, the daughter gathered her belongings and got a ride home.

Report of a male and female outside fighting. Male damaged the female’s phone after an argument. The male was picked up and the female went back to her apartment.

Location: Rockside Road
Male called Bedford Heights to have a welfare check on his girlfriend. He said she is drinking and might be cutting herself. Female reporting she is having suicidal thoughts. She has no weapons. Officers are out with the suicidal female that is requesting mental help. Female was transported to Bedford Medical Center.

Employee advised of a male in their lot causing a disturbance. The male keeps walking in and out of the store yelling and swearing at employees. He has a blue hoodie on and is wearing a brown jacket over it. Officer reviewed camera footage. Parties involved were last seen going north on Northfield. If contact is made with the parties, they will officially be advised to not return to the store. Neither of them were driving. There was a third party involved that did not exit the vehicle. Report number assigned to the male to be issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

Caller is concerned about a male that may be impersonating a Bedford Police Officer. The complainant advised that his daughter is engaged to a male who has made the claim to numerous people that he is a Bedford Police Officer. The complainant is concerned for his daughter’s welfare and wanted the police department advised. Information forwarded to the detective bureau for follow-up.

Caller believes he heard approximately seven shots fired from a location behind his residence. Caller stated it took place approximately one-and-half hours ago. He said one of his neighbors also heard the shots. When officers arrived, nothing out of the ordinary was observed.

Caller reported shots fired earlier. He believes a neighbor is shooting deer and selling from his property. He doesn’t know the address, but could point it out to an officer. An officer can either call him or stop out at his address. Officers spoke to the male, who was intoxicated, and is worried about people shooting deer with children living in the neighborhood. Officers checked the area and everything was OK, and no shots were heard.
