The caller is not on scene. He advises his 23-year-old son took his mother’s phone and car keys. The son called the caller to tell him that he was taking her car because she doesn’t need it. The female was in the background yelling to call the police and saying that he had taken everything from her. Officers had responded to this address earlier this month and had located a vehicle that had been involved in a pursuit with the Parma Heights Police Department. The son has an active CCW. The vehicle was not taken, and the phone was back in the mother’s possession. She was given options to evict the son. The son left without incident.

The complainant wanted this to be documented for extra patrol around the apartment complex.

The caller is on station to file a report that her roommate’s family members damaged her property and threw her out of her apartment. She is not injured. Officers spoke to the female complainant in the lobby. Last night, she and several of her friends were gathering her property to move out of her apartment. An altercation ensued with her roommate and her family. At that time, one of her roommate’s sisters took it upon herself to move a box out of the apartment. In doing so, several glass items in the box were broken. Officers do not believe the sister had any intent to break the glass. (The box was closed). The complainant was advised this is a civil matter and how to file a claim in court.

The caller advised that her brother put his hands on her. She is not injured. The brother has since left the home. The event took place 30 minutes ago. The brother grabbed the caller and pushed her against a wall. An officer responded to the residence for a report of an assault. The female complainant stated her brother was at the residence earlier and while present they were involved in a verbal altercation regarding their current living situation, and that the male is attempting to move back into the residence after being previously evicted. The female stated the male then became irate and began to assault her. The male pushed the female and then proceeded to throw the female into the mantle in the living room. The male also grabbed the female by her neck and forced her onto the bed in the living room and began to shake her. The female stated the male suffers from mental illness, and that this has been an on-going issue. The female then stated the male left the residence, and the female ran across to her neighbor’s house for help before calling for police. The female did not appear to be injured and declined any medical attention. The female did have soiled clothing that she showed the officer due to being in fear for her life. The female was then photographed and the officer did observe broken finger nails on the female’s hands. The officer asked the female if she would be willing to pursue charges, and she stated she wanted a protection order. The officer advised the female of the protection order process. Also present was the female’s mother who elected to give a statement but was unable to write due to her current medical state. The officer assisted the mother with the statement, but while doing so, the mother became fatigued and elected to stop. The female stated she was not sure if she wanted to pursue charges at this time and would contact the police for a follow up. The female was also given a witness statement to complete and return.

An officer responded to the listed address and spoke with a female for a report of a stolen vehicle. The female alleges sometime between midnight (when she got home from a friend’s house) and 0730 hours today, unknown person(s) stole her vehicle from her driveway. The female stated her vehicle was unlocked and the keys were in the center console. The female checked her Uconnect app to track where her vehicle might be. The app showed that the vehicle was in the area of Harvard and Miles in Cleveland, near her mother’s house. After further investigation, it was learned that her vehicle was involved in a pursuit with Maple Heights Police Department around 0220 hours today and the officers were able to confirm through BMV image that the driver was the owner.

An officer spoke with a female in the lobby for a report of threats. The female stated she has “mechanical devices” installed everywhere inside her body and her ex-husband is controlling those devices through virtual reality. She said she hears her ex-husband’s voice in her head every day. The female has been experiencing these spiritual controlling acts for the last three years. As the female was sitting in a chair in the lobby, she felt vibrations and told an officer to stand closer to her to feel what she was experiencing. As the female left the lobby, she stated she heard a voice in her head. She was advised to seek assistance from a doctor, but she already has in the past and it did not help her.

Her wallet contained different debit/credit cards. The complainant stated when she went to her car this morning, she noticed her glove box was open and items scattered throughout her vehicle. The wallet was used at a Warrensville Heights gas station. Transactions on the complainant’s debit card were $10, $6.99 and $10.18. The female has cancelled her cards.

A male states that he just got stabbed in the hand. The parties drove off in a red car and made a right out of the parking lot. The male is bleeding from the hand, and he is holding pressure on it. He was stabbed with a knife while he was trying to get a ride, and they stabbed him. Officers found that the male has a mental illness and was never actually never stabbed. The squad is transporting the male to the Bedford Medical Center.

A 30-year-old male struck a staff member. The caller is stating that the male needs to go for a psychological evaluation. There are no weapons involved, but the male does like to throw things. He isn’t known to be violent towards police or fire. He got upset and said the staff was teasing him, but no one had said anything to him. He was transported to the Bedford Medical Center.

The caller is stating something about someone being at his home and having a gun. He says he has recordings of a father being abusive with the caller’s niece. He says he’s afraid that if officers show up, he doesn’t know what the father will do. Officers are requesting EMS to respond and stage. The caller had arrived at the house, and the sister and the father of his niece were arguing. The father told the caller to get out of the house or he was going to shoot him. The gun was never brandished at the time. The caller is on the corner. Officers are blocking off Talbot Drive and Berwyn Drive. The dispatch has kept trying to call someone inside the house, but has received no answer. Officers spoke to the female in the house on the phone. She is very uncooperative and refuses to speak further. The female called in to a nurse and stated a child hit their head on the wall. Officers spoke to the couple about ongoing issues with the relationship. No gun was seen and the brother was advised to leave it up to the mothers to handle. The father in the relationship was advised to leave but was uncooperative with officers. The female stated during the argument that the male “pushed” her to get by, and she pushed him back. There were no physical injuries to either person, and neither wanted to pursue the matter criminally. The pair have a 3-year-old child together and live in the house with the brother. Children and Family Services was contacted in regard to the household.

Officers responded to the residence for a report of a weapons offense. The female present stated her child’s father and her got into a verbal altercation regarding an accident she was involved in while driving his vehicle. The altercation then became physical when the male started to drag the female throughout the home by her hair. The female also stated the male scratched her under her arm and caused a bruise on her head. While this was occurring, the female’s mother attempted to intervene and the male struck the mother causing a minor cut above her eye. The female also stated she did not see a firearm, but does know the male possesses one. As officers were arriving, they observed a male walking south on the street. The male stated he was involved in the altercation and that he was just walking to get a ride. Also, the male stated the altercation was only verbal, and that he left prior to anything escalating. Both female parties declined to pursue charges, and the male agreed to leave for the evening. The mother of the female was seen by EMS but declined transport. At this time, no further police action is required.

The brother is not allowed at the residence due to having an active protection order protecting the complainant. There was a Ring camera on a house in the area.

A complainant states her boyfriend became upset with her after she refused to have sex with him. They got into a heated verbal argument that resulted in him pressing his hands against her neck. No visible marks or injuries could be seen. The male gave a similar version of events but denied putting his hands on the female. The female completed a written statement, and the area of possible injury was photographed. She wants to pursue charges and claims this has happened before. She lives with the male but will be living at her grandmother’s for now. She claims to be 3-months pregnant with the male’s child. The male was given statement forms, and said he will bring them to the station when completed.

The caller states that her ex-boyfriend kicked the basement door and damaged it. This occurred about a couple of hours ago. The male is no longer on scene. An officer responded to the residence for a report of criminal damage. The female homeowner stated she allowed a male to move into her residence approximately two weeks ago due to being in a relationship with the male. The female then stated the male has been threatening her, and that they were involved in a verbal only altercation this evening regarding their current living situation. The male also made verbal threats toward the female, and stated his son wanted to harm the female. The male has since left and removed the majority of his property from the residence but stated he needs to return to remove the items he left. The female stated the male also was given a key to the residence. Since the male has moved in, the female has noticed approximately $100 in cash and a bracelet missing from the home and also damage to her interior garage door. The female declined to pursue any charges at this time and wants the incident documented. The officer was also advised by the female to not contact the male, who left prior to officer arrival, due to the fear of the male becoming upset. The female was advised of the eviction process and to contact the police if the issues continue.

The complainant contacted UPS and they told him it will be delivered to CVS in Bedford rather than the old address. Approximately a half hour prior to the time of call, the complainant was getting his vehicle ready to leave. The complainant needed to run inside his residence for a few minutes prior to leaving and he left his vehicle unlocked. On the front passenger seat were two iPhones. One was blue, which was activated for use by the complainant, and the other was an unknown color that had yet to be activated. The complainant was advised to locate the serial numbers so officers could complete a full report and enter them as stolen.

An officer responded to the residence for a report of a stolen vehicle that was locked and taken without keys. The female owner stated the theft occurred sometime between 2100 hours on Dec. 7 and 0400 hours on Dec. 8, by an unknown person. There are no witnesses or surveillance footage of the theft. The female also stated she is behind two payments to her financing company, but does not believe they would repossess the vehicle due to being enrolled into a payment plan. The officer observed drag marks on the gravel driveway behind the residence, where the vehicle was parked, which appear to be consistent with a tow truck removing the vehicle. The officer advised the female to contact her finance company regarding the possible repossession of the vehicle. The stolen vehicle addendum form was completed by the female, and the listed vehicle will be entered as stolen pending a response from the finance company. The female advised she spoke with the finance company who stated the vehicle was repossessed. The vehicle will not be entered into leads as stolen and no further police action required.

An officer spoke to the complainant who stated at 1810 hours today, after she pulled into her driveway, her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend walked up to her and started to argue with her. She stated in the middle of the argument, the female punched her once in the nose with keys in her hand, and it scratched her chin. The complainant states the female then got back into her vehicle and left. The complainant states she never retaliated when the female struck her and just called 911. The complainant has cameras on her property, but the camera on her driveway side is broken, and it did not catch the altercation and neither did her other cameras. The complainant states she frequently has problems with the female involving trespassing issues and wishes to pursue charges for assault. Officers spoke to the suspect today, and she states that she was never at the complainant’s house and has not spoken to her in months. The caller has text and call logs of harassment communication from the female, but does not have anything within the past couple months with proof of harassment. The complainant’s neighbor states they did not see or hear any kind of disturbance. Due to the conflicting statements and lack proof of the alleged assault, the incident will be forwarded to the prosecutor for further ruling. Later, the prosecutor advised there was not enough evidence for filing charges for an assault. The complainant was notified of the ruling, and officers attempted to call the female in question but there was no answer.

The caller is reporting a male tried to gain entry to his vehicle. The caller went outside and the male ran on Washington Street towards Columbus Road. An officer later located a male matching the description jogging north on Center Road near the hospital. He also, at first, refused to identify himself after being advised of the situation, but he ultimately complied. The caller did not want to speak with officers, and the male was released from the scene. No further police action needed at this time.

The female stated she would like extra police patrols near her residence. The officer removed the rose from the female’s vehicle and disposed of it. An officer responded to the business and spoke to the manager. He stated that on Dec. 25, an employee was fired from the business at around 2300 hours. The manager stated while the former employee was waiting for a ride, some of the other employee’s clock-in cards were taken and were destroyed in a microwave. No one saw the former employee take the cards, but other coworkers were suspicious due to him being fired. Another employee stated that overnight his personal truck’s tires were slashed. The manager explained there are some video cameras and will contact the owner of the building to obtain the video. The manager will contact the police if he retrieves the video. The manager explained their computer system was not working and could not provide a current phone number for the former employee.

The husband and wife are having an argument over him returning home after several weeks of living away. The male travels between residences. The female was highly intoxicated and unreasonable. The male stated he did not want his wife to go to jail and was advised on how to obtain a probate order. The parties were advised to separate for the night and to sleep in separate rooms.

Officers spoke to a female caller about what occurred during a Walton Hill’s traffic stop. The male suspect led a Walton Hills officer on a short pursuit down Northfield Road and eventually stopped at Sunoco and exited the vehicle. The Walton Hills officer pulled his duty weapon on the subject, and the female felt that this was excessive. She then inserted herself into the situation and was yelling at the officer during the stop. She wanted information about the officer from the stop and was advised to go to the Walton Hills police station to get that information and anything else she may need. She was content with this information and was sent on her way.

Officers were able to locate the disturbance at the above address. The female, who was under the influence of alcohol and narcotics, stated nothing physical occurred. However, she stated that her boyfriend would not let her leave the house after a verbal argument, and he took the keys. Officers spoke to the male who stated he was just trying to stop the female from leaving because she is not OK to drive. The male was advised of the eviction process, and the female was given a ride to a friend’s house to alleviate the situation for the night.

Officers spoke to the male in the lobby in regards to an alleged package theft. He stated a package of diamond earrings at an approximate value of $1,200 was delivered on Nov. 19 and subsequently stolen. Officers checked the area for camera footage of the residence, but were unable to find any recordings that go back more than five days. Officers provided the male with the report number, and he will forward it on to UPS for their investigation.

Officers spoke to the vehicle owner at her place of work. Her roommate came up to the business and took the complainant’s vehicle without permission. She admitted to officers that in the past she has allowed her to take the vehicle, but states she never gave her a spare key. She believes her roommate stole the spare key and that’s how she took the vehicle today. Officers attempted to call the roommate while still with the complainant, but she abruptly hung up the phone. Officers then called back and left a voicemail for the female to return the vehicle or face criminal charges. The complainant was advised of the 48-hour window required for charging, and officers will follow up. The complainant was advised to call if the vehicle is returned.

Two males around the age of 12 stole a package off the porch and then ran to the backyard of a nearby address. The daughter is at home to make the report, since she witnessed it. The pair may have run towards Ellenwood Avenue. The packages were scattered by the walkway by the pool. They were returned to their owner. The juveniles had opened the packages, dumped the contents, and walked back toward the parking lot of the pool. Officers collected the items, returned them to the complainant, and went to speak to the juveniles’ mother. She was not home, but the juveniles admitted to taking the items and dumping them. The complainant did not elect to pursue charges against the juveniles, but officers will make contact with their mothers to advise them of the incident. No further police action is needed.

Officers spoke to the male in the lobby in regards to an alleged theft that occurred sometime overnight. The complainant was at the Cee Ray Motel last night with his “friend.” When he woke up this morning at around 0900 hours, he said good morning to her and fell back asleep. When he awoke, she was gone and he was allegedly missing $500 from his jacket pocket. The complainant suspects that the female took his money while he slept and left with it. He provided her name and phone number but officers were not able to get in contact with her. He was very evasive about why he was there, and would not provide a statement to what occurred. Officers cannot verify the validity of his claims. No further police action is needed

An officer spoke with the complainant. She stated that on Nov. 29, at approximately 0945 hours, that she and her ex-husband were involved in a physical altercation. She advised that the listed male pushed her into the bathtub. The complainant advised that she feared for her life. She then got up and attempted to grab her rifle. Both parties began to fight over the weapon. The male was able to get the weapon and the complainant stated that he choked her and hit her in the stomach. The complainant advised that she went to the hospital after the incident. An officer spoke with the male involved. He stated that he did not wish to make a statement and that his lawyer would be contacting the police. All information involved was sent to the prosecutor for charges to be determined. The prosecutor reviewed the case and determined that there would be no charges at this time.

The complainant called to report that she was a victim of a scam yesterday for approximately $700. The complainant was having issues with her daughter’s iPhone and thought that she contacted Apple support from the internet web address. She was advised to purchase Google Play gift cards in order to get the activation code for the phone. The complainant did provide one of the gift cards ($100) to the scammer. She advised that she did provide some personal information but does not believe that she gave them her Social Security number. The complainant was advised to contact her bank and report the incident, and to also contact the credit agencies to check her credit status for any fraud.

A female is in the lobby to report that her on-again, off-again boyfriend grabbed her privates yesterday saying “this is Trump’s America” in front of other people. The female is unsure of the exact address on Lamson that it occurred. An officer spoke with the complainant in the lobby who reported on Dec. 10 the boyfriend grabbed her private area while she was at the listed location. The complainant was advised of her options. Due to the complainant’s emotional state, she was unsure if she wanted to pursue charges. She was advised of a civil protection order. The complainant stated she will contact the police if she decides to pursue the matter further.

A male is in the lobby to report a hit skip that happened last night. The driver of Unit #1 described the accident as follows. Unit #1 was stopped for a red light in the left lane heading north on Northfield Road at the intersection of Columbus Road. Unit #2 was traveling north on Northfield directly behind unit #1. When the light turned green, the driver of Unit #2 made an unsafe lane change into the curb lane and struck the rear passenger side of Unit #1 with Unit #2’s front driver side. The drivers of both vehicles agreed to turn into the parking lot of Dollar General to get out of traffic. The complainant stated the driver of the vehicle appeared to be a 15-16-year-old male and the passenger appeared to be his mother. The passenger refused to give him any insurance information and told the driver not to give the complainant his ID. The from Unit #2 then entered the vehicle and fled the scene. At that point, the complainant was able to write down the license plate. An officer spoke with the owner of Unit #2, who came to the police station to provide her side of the accident story and to provide other information. She stated her son pulled out of the General Dollar parking lot north onto Northfield Road and stopped at the intersection at Columbus Road for a red light. She did acknowledge that Unit #1 was in front of the vehicle at that time. She continued and said, after exiting the parking lot, that Unit #2 came very close to striking the rear of Unit #1, but did not make contact. At that point, the female stated the driver of Unit #1 exited his vehicle and began yelling at them for almost hitting his vehicle. The female did acknowledge she pulled into a parking lot of a business on Northfield to speak with the driver of Unit #1. She said she looked, but could not find any damage to her vehicle or the other vehicle involved, and left because she did not feel safe with the behavior driver of Unit #1 was exhibiting.

A mother is at the residence to get her 12-year-old son that was dropped off at this location. The child is in this location with his great aunt, and she will not release the child to the mother. The mother is there with Children’s Services. The child stated he is scared and does not want to go out of the house with the mom. Officers are checking the residence for the male. Officers spoke with an older male and advised him they needed to turn over their nephew to his mother. The male advised that the son called an Uber and left 10-15 minutes ago. He did not say where he was going. The male allowed officers to check the interior of his home. The teen was not located inside the home. The teen’s mother, and the social worker on scene, were advised of the officers’ findings and left the scene. Later the child was turned over to the mother.

The complainant contacted Amazon and they requested a police report on file. The complainant’s Ring security camera recorded the package being delivered by the Amazon driver. The complainant was advised to look through the alerts for possible suspects. The total value of the theft was approximately $200.

A male is in the lobby reporting that a female pulled a gun on him in an argument over a chair. The caller does not know the address, but knows the house by sight. The complainant was at the residence visiting a female. There was an argument over a chair that the female claimed the complainant broke. The complainant claims that the chair was broken before he sat on it. The female became upset and told the complainant to leave. As the complainant was leaving the female had a gun behind her back. The gun was never pointed at the complainant, and he was never threatened with it. He wanted the incident documented in case the female calls to claim something different. The complainant called back wanting an escort to the unknown residence to retrieve a bag he left there. He was advised to contact the department at a more reasonable time and an officer would escort him to the house. He advised he will come in the morning.

The caller states her husband just slashed her tires. She watched him do it. He is in the CVS parking lot. The caller was walking out and saw him do it. Officers responded and spoke with the male, who admitted to letting the air out of one of the tires on his wife’s vehicle. The male stated he acted out due to marital issues between the two. The complainant was advised her husband’s actions were not a criminal act. While speaking with the complainant, she stated she believes the male put a tracking device on her vehicle and requested officers search her vehicle for a device. Officers searched the vehicle and located a GPS tracking device with voice recording in the back pocket of the driver side seat. The device was turned off and given to the complainant. She was advised of her options. The complainant came into the lobby to drop off a statement.

The caller advised her boyfriend took her car to pick up a money order. That was three hours ago. The caller would like a report for unauthorized use since he is refusing to return it. An officer responded to the residence. The female stated the male lives with her, but he is not on the lease. She also stated this type of behavior is unlike the male, and she would like to pursue charges. The officer attempted to contact the male via phone but was unsuccessful and a message was left. The female was advised to contact the police on Dec. 14 in order to pursue charges and to have the vehicle entered into leads as a stolen vehicle, if the vehicle has not been returned. Later, the female complainant spoke with dispatch and stated the male returned the vehicle. No further police action is required.

Officers responded to the residence on John Street for a report of a vehicle leaving the roadway and causing damage to the tree lawn. The complainant stated he observed a white truck driving in reverse westbound on the street and attempting to back into the driveway. While doing so, the vehicle reversed onto the tree lawn of the residence causing damage to the lawn. Officers made contact with the male driver who stated he did attempt to back into the driveway and accidentally caused the damage. The male appeared to check OK and agreed to make contact with the homeowner to arrange for him to fix the lawn. The incident was documented and no further police action required.

The male caller was in a fight down the street. No injuries are indicated, but the caller is intoxicated. The other participant left the area in a van. The victim is wearing a black jacket and blue jeans, and is standing on the sidewalk. No weapons were involved. Officers will drive the male home. The complainant was walking on Northfield near William Street when he stated he was approached by an unknown male. The male started talking to the complainant stating he had an issue with him and then attempted to punch the complainant. The complainant was able to ‘dip’ and not get struck. He stated he then struck the male a couple times before the male left running on William Street. The incident occurred 30 minutes prior to calling the police.

The caller states that her daughter’s boyfriend just kicked her in the chest. The female is semi-conscious. The male is upstairs in the house and is on drugs. The male possibly has a gun. The mother states the male had some bullets lined up along the window sill the other day. The incident occurred upstairs between the two, but the mother has been moved downstairs. An officer is making contact with the male now. The female was taken by squad to the Bedford Medical Center. There were no visible injuries on the female. The female stated that the male had kicked her in the chest while she was upstairs in his apartment. She states that it feels like her sternum is broken. The female paramedic stated that she doesn’t have any visible injuries. The caller did not see the altercation, and the male denied anything physical occurred. There were no signs of any weapons in the apartment, and he denied having any weapons. The male’s warrant was confirmed with Bedford Heights. The ER doctor stated that the female doesn’t have any apparent and/or visible injuries, but she will be checked further. The female was advised if she does have any internal injuries to come to the station to follow up.

As she was holding the $225 for the game system, the male passenger grabbed the money from her hand, and the vehicle left the parking lot towards Ellenwood Avenue, and then made a right turn towards Center Road.

An officer contacted the complainant who advised that she is receiving mail at her residence with a male’s name on it. She advised that the male does not reside with her and is concerned that this is happening. The complainant stated that she notified her mail carrier of the problem, and they took several pieces of mail back to the Post Office. Since that time she has received several more pieces of mail for the same individual. The complainant stated that she contacted the supervisor at the Post Office about this and was told to just throw the mail away. The complainant stated that she was not comfortable with that advice. The complainant stated that she has placed a fraud alert on her credit accounts. An officer checked the county auditor’s records for her residence and did not see the male’s name attached to her property. The officer advised the complainant to contact the United States Postal Inspection Service about the mail and about the response from the supervisor.

Center Road (Marco’s Pizza)
A manager is requesting to speak to an officer in reference to an order that was just placed for $75 with a fraudulent credit card. An employee at Marco’s stated that he received a call earlier this evening from an unknown individual in Mason, Ohio, stating his credit card was charged by Marco’s for $75 without his permission. The manager verified the last 4 digits of the individual’s card and stated that someone ordered the pizza online for delivery. The address given for the delivery was in Maple Heights. The manager said that because the pizza could not be delivered to the male for a while, the male told the manager he would drive to Marco’s to pick it up. The officer told Marco’s to call the Bedford Police Department if the male showed up for the pizza. Approximately 15 minutes later, Marco’s contacted the dispatch to say the male was there. When an investigatory stop was made, the vehicle fled north on Center Road and the pursuit was terminated at Rockside Road. An officer will follow up with Marco’s in an attempt to obtain video footage of the male coming into the store. Officers went to the address in Maples Heights and spoke to the resident who denied knowing the owner of the car who fled.

Oakwood Police said the male was in their city earlier and was sitting on someone’s porch who didn’t know him. He was asked to leave.

The caller advised that two males were released from working there last week. The males came to the business a little while ago intoxicated. The caller did not see them, but would like officers to check the area. He thinks they may still be in the area. Both males were gone on arrival. They were advised to contact the front office tomorrow by phone and see if the checks are ready and how they could get them. They were both advised of trespass.
