Female just heard someone try to get into her right side door, She is upstairs. No vehicles were heard. Caller and her son are at the residence. Male ran across the street to check on caller. The suspect had broken the glass on her side door. Officers checked the area. Nobody was located. The exterior door was damaged and a small amount of blood was found. A sample of the blood was swabbed and entered into evidence for testing.

Two cars involved with no injuries. A black Jeep sideswiped another vehicle. The jeep initially left the scene and has now returned, and is now in the Colony Club. The other vehicle involved is a Chevy Impala. A tree was knocked down and is on the sidewalk. The Jeep will have damage on front passenger side.

Report made from emergency room in Bedford Medical Center. Complainant was beaten with a stick today. Female walked to the hospital. Male also took the female’s cell phone. Officer out at address to serve a warrant.

Location: Interstate 271
Officers spoke to the male in the lobby. He (Unit 1) was travelling on Interstate 271 south in the far left lane when the suspect vehicle (Unit 2) attempted to pass him on the right and merge left in front of him. The suspect failed to maintain reasonable safety before movement left and struck Unit 1’s front right bumper. He then fled the area at a high rate of speed, but the complainant was able to photograph his license plate. (On the following day, officers discovered the male suspect had been arrested Wednesday for OVI by Macedonia Police following the hit skip.) His vehicle was towed to Twinsburg. Officers reported to the tow yard and found the matching damage on the left rear quarter panel. The vehicle was photographed and added to the report. Oh-1 will be completed and the male suspect will be charged with hit skip and unsafe lane change.

Party on station to file a report on her mother who continues to threaten her. Officer spoke to the 19-year-old complainant in the lobby. She is having on-going issues with her adoptive mother and their living situation. The mother was upset that the female did not clean up her room and the complainant stated her mother made verbal threats to harm her and her newborn daughter. She stated that she has secured other living arrangements and will be moving in with her sister. Officers advised the complainant to avoid her mother and to document any harassing communications in the future.

Complainant reports that her daughter hit her earlier in the day. Juvenile female last seen wearing a beige jacket with white stripes. Hair is loose. Dark jeans and grey tennis shoes. Mom thinks she’s going to the library or Burger King. The complainant stated that she got into a argument with her 16-year-old daughter about a friend having her daughter’s cell phone. The complainant stated that her daughter pushed her and grabbed her shirt. No signs of visible injury to the complainant. The daughter left the residence after the incident. The complainant was told to call the station when her daughter returns home. Statement forms given to the complainant to complete. Complainant was advised to contact police with any further information.

Location: Columbus Road and Northfield Road
A traffic stop was initiated on the listed vehicle for failure to signal before movement and a lane violation. The driver had a loaded Glock 23 handgun unholstered in his waistband. He had a revoked CCW permit and through investigation it was learned he aware of the revocation. He was charged with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, issued a summons for possession of marijuana and issued a traffic citation for the turn signal. The rear seat passenger was EWW out of Bedford Heights and Highland Heights. He was turned over to Bedford Heights on scene. The vehicle was released to the owner’s wife on scene.

Officers advised that there is an issue in the jail with an inmate. Inmate used a chair to break a window on the segregation cell door. Inmate also ripped all of the cables and cords out of the television.

Complainant is the lobby and states she was threatened by her tenant. The complainant has been having ongoing issues at the home with the tenant including playing loud music, bringing unknown person(s) into the property and banging on the downstairs windows to be let in when she didn’t have her keys. When the complainant confronted the tenant about the problems she has been causing, the tenant told the complainant to get out of her face or she would hit her. The complainant was advised on the eviction process and where to file for a protection order.

Caller states that her fence is damaged and there are tire marks in her yard. Upon officer’s arrival, the fence was put back up by the resident. There appeared to be faint tire tracks from a vehicle between the tree and fence and several very small grey vehicle parts littered in the lawn. Unable to determine where the vehicle was at the time of report. Caller stated that she believes this occurred sometime overnight but has no vehicle description. Photos were taken.

The caller wanted to file a complaint against her husband. He made several threats to the complainant last night while at their home. Officers spoke to both parties involved. The husband and wife had a verbal altercation last night involving disciplining of the children. The male left the residence to calm down and during that time, the female took the two children to her mother’s house. The female and male both plan to file for divorce and both were advised to seek legal assistance. The female showed officers a vague text message threatening to “kick it in,” referencing her parents door to retrieve his children. He was advised to contact the courts to put a custody agreement in place. No charges for menacing will be filed against the husband, and the wife was told to contact police for an escort when she returns to the home for her property.

One female and two males wearing black coats just unlocked the callers’ apartment door and attempted to gain entry. Entry was not gained because caller had the chain link on her door. Female advised she was in the shower when she heard her door rattle open. Female advised the door was locked and they were able to turn the lock. Female believes they may be in the front lobby. She stated they arrived in a black vehicle. Female is unsure how they were able to unlock her main lock as no one else should have a key. Original caller on 911 stating police are now there. Officers spoke to the complainant who stated that the two males with the female were wearing yarmulkes and didn’t look to be in a hurry as if they had bad intentions. She stated that she feels the entry, or attempted entry, was accidental in nature. She will make contact with management to inquire about the situation and request a lock change. Officers checked the area for the truck but were unable to locate it.

Officer spoke with the complainant in the lobby. The complainant was unable to give her location of where an earlier fight took place. She did say she drove to the home to fight her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend because she had been saying mean things about her on social media. She said several times it was a street in Maple Heights. She was advised that she could be charged with disorderly fighting for going to the house and exiting the vehicle to fight the ex-girlfriend. The complainant was told to stay away from her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend when dropping off the kids or picking them up.

Party is in lobby to file report. The complainant reported that she believes that her uncle, who is the trustee of her deceased mother’s estate, has taken approximately $100,000 from the trust in the name of the complainant and her sister. The complainant stated that she and her sister are to receive scheduled payments from the trust fund. However, neither she nor her sister has received payment from the trust from her uncle since September 2017. The complainant stated that the attorney who drafted the trust agreement told her to file a police report. At this time, the complainant did not have complete documents and was told to obtain a copy of the notarized trust and all bank statements showing the fraudulent withdrawal of funds by her uncle. The complainant was told to return to the department once she has all of the necessary documentation.

Caller is driving home and states her previous tenant who has moved out has damaged her home. Home is vacant right now. Caller states she had her previous tenant evicted and that tenant left behind a mess. Caller wanted it documented that left behind was an old 70+ inch projection TV, a recliner chair, and garbage throughout the home. Also left behind was a fridge full of food, which caller believed was starting to smell. Caller also noted that there were a couple of curtains taken from the home as well. Caller advised that she is unable to remove the TV and recliner on her own and will need to pay to have it removed. This report is for documentation purposes.

Complainant came on station to drop off seven counterfeit $100 bills that he found in the street at Broadway and Southwick Drive. He said he looked down while sitting at the traffic light and noticed the money by the curb. When he got out of his vehicle he could see it was counterfeit. The money did look real, so he decided to bring it to the police department.

Female is in the police lobby and states her car was keyed. The complainant stated that her juvenile son has been having ongoing issues with another juvenile male with whom he goes to school. On Tuesday, the complainant arrived home and parked her vehicle in the apartment complex parking lot. Later, her son went outside and noticed that the complainant’s car had been damaged. The complainant suspected the juvenile male that her son has been having problems with. Via iCloud, the complainant contacted this male and asked him why he damaged her car. The complainant stated that the juvenile male told her that his mom’s car was damaged by the complainant’s son, so that’s why her car was damaged. However, he stated in the text that he was not the one who damaged the car. Officers went to the address in Oakwood Village. No answer came at the residence.The complainant stated that she will attempt to get the male to admit to damaging her car through text. Should she garner this confession, then she will bring the evidence to the station.

Two ninth-graders had a physical altercation in the hallway of Bedford High School. The fight was stopped by school security.

The complainant stated that the customer cancelled the loan on a vehicle. She stated that the male took ownership of the vehicle on 03/07/19 after making a down payment. For whatever reason, he was unhappy with the terms, cancelled the loan, came in today to return the vehicle, became irate during the meeting with the complainant and then left in the vehicle. The complainant stated he owes $862.00. A call was placed to the male advising him to contact the department or return the vehicle. An officer spoke with the male. He explained the numerous issues he’s been experiencing with the vehicle and all of the problems he had with trying to have the dealership resolve them. The male wishes to return the vehicle but does not agree with all the additional charges he claims are being assessed to him for buying a “lemon.” He stated he would be willing to return the vehicle tomorrow. The complainant was updated.

Caller states that he rented a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The caller rented a car for his cousin on March 8. The vehicle was supposed to be returned on the March 11, and the caller was advised by the rental company that it was not returned. Male was not very willing on giving information as he states that he didn’t want his cousin to get into trouble. The complainant never saw the vehicle after it left the lot and it still has not been returned. He does not know where the vehicle is. He was advised that Enterprise will need to file the report. He was also given advice not to rent vehicles for other people in the future.

Male is advising he just got robbed by two males with hoodies. One male had a gun. Caller states that the thinner male is the one that had the gun male. He states that they took $100, his bracelet and a few other items. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the males.

Two students and entered school under the influence of marijuana. Suspect had a pipe used for smoking marijuana on his person and had a small blunt that field-tested positive for marijuana. To be charged with drug paraphernalia and with possession of marijuana in juvenile court.

Parts department employee states a customer had a car brought in, had it serviced, and gave a credit card that was not good. Car may have been from New York. The customer had paid $846.87 for service done to his vehicle. The customer also purchased several rims, valued at $2,600, again using a credit card. Both transactions were approved at the point of sale, but were eventually disputed by the customer. Mercedes of bedford wanted the incident reported for documentation purposes.

At school dismissal, two ninth-grade male students began to get into a verbal altercation. The incident did not let up until the two had to be physically separated in front of the school near the buses.

The driver gave consent to search his vehicle during a traffic stop. During a pat down, a small rock-like substance was felt in his pants pocket. He stated the substance was most likely heroin. The rock-like substance was folded in a small piece of paper. The suspect was arrested and transported to the jail. The substance weighed .8g and field-tested positive for fentanyl. The male was charged with drug abuse and two brake lights required.

Complainant says ex-husband took all of her important papers. Officers spoke with the complainant who stated that her ex-husband came to her home and took her driver’s license, social security card, credit and debit cards and her help desk cards for court and counseling. Complainant stated she didn’t see him take any of the items and couldn’t confirm that she had even seen her ex-husband. She was advised to call and get her credit cards cancelled. Officers also spoke with the ex-husband via phone who stated that he has not seen the complainant in person in approximately two years. He also stated that the complainant has mental disorders and he avoids any contact with her. Female called requesting to speak to the officer again. She states she does not have a phone she can be called back on.

The complainant called to report that one of the juveniles was upset and hitting numerous items with a metal pipe and throwing rocks and bricks. The juvenile threw a brick damaging the rear door of a transport van, and broke the legs of a charcoal grill. The juvenile then used the broken leg to damage the vinyl siding and two light fixtures of a home. The juvenile then picked up a rock and threw it through the side window of the house. Per the owner of Safely Home, he wanted to file a report for criminal damage. All paperwork forwarded to the juvenile court.

Officers responded to a disturbance between two males. Upon arrival, officers located several males in the driveway and advised all parties to leave for the evening. One of the parties involved refused to leave the area and approached an individual who resided there in a violent manner. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Bedford Jail where he was booked and processed by the jailer. The suspect was transported to the Bedford Medical Center by the squad and given a personal bond for $1,500.00 and issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

Theft from a car reported. Occurred approximately an hour ago. They do have it on camera. The complainant advised that an unknown male entered two unlocked vehicles parked in the driveway. They advised that the video showed the male taking a bluetooth speaker from one of the cars. In checking the vehicle, the speaker was located on the passenger seat. Nothing else appears to have been taken from the vehicle. The male then entered another car. Nothing appears to be missing from this vehicle. The officer reviewed the security video, and the male was observed walking southbound across the front yard. The male was wearing a plaid jacket, light colored hoodie, jeans, and reflective shoes. The officer requested a copy of the security video and the complainant advised that she would email the video to the station.

Complainant in the lobby fraud to report identity theft. Officers spoke to the male n regards to fraudulent credit card activity with his ex-wife. His ex allegedly opened several credit cards and bank accounts in 2015 while they were still married, using his information and without his knowledge . The male and his ex-wife were living in Maple Heights when the alleged fraud occurred. He was advised to file his report with Maple Heights and to contact an attorney in regards to his civil options.

Female was fighting with her son. She now has a head injury from hitting her head on the wall. Male is 22-years-old; she is requesting a squad. No weapons involved. Parties are yelling at each other upon arrival. Officer spoke to the female who stated that she and her son had an argument over a cell phone and while both were trying to take the phone, she lost her balance and hit her head against the wall causing a small bump on the left side of her head. The female requested to go to the hospital.

Female states that she came to the residence to pick up her 5-year-old daughter and her ex is refusing to give her the child or speak to her. She advises that she had been trying to get ahold of him all day with no response as well. She states that she does have all the custody paperwork. Officers responded to the residence and spoke with both parties involved. The male party has visitation privileges starting every Friday afternoon and continues into Sunday evening when the mother of the child resumes sole custody of the child. The paperwork allows for both parents to have vacation time with the child as long as a sufficient amount of notice is given to the other parent. The male party provided documentation illustrating that proper notice was given and that he would resume the visitation schedule next Sunday. The mother was advised to take up the matter in civil court as the paperwork is vague and not as strict as it could be. The mother was advised to contact the court in the morning to expedite the process so that moving forward, everybody involved is pleased with the outcome.

Caller believes she hears someone breaking into her house. She lives alone with her dog . Officers responded to the residence and checked the exterior of the home. Officers made contact with the complainant who stated that prior to officers arriving on scene, she heard a “spook” upstairs and believed someone was breaking into her home. Officers checked the entire upstairs and found no signs of anyone breaking in or having already broken in. The complainant was advised to contact police if she should need any aid in the future.

Male on station to report fraudulent charges on his debit card. The complainant stated there were fraudulent charges on his debit card. A charge was made for $274.30 which he did not make and the bank has failed to reimburse him. The item in dispute was allegedly delivered to an address in Cleveland. The bank told him to make a police report. The complainant was advised a report would be on file.

Child’s father’s girlfriend threatened that if she gets around complainant that she will blow her head off. The complainant stated that this comment was made over a week-and-a-half ago. She stated that today she was at the justice center to file a civil protection order against the female and wished to document the incident with the police. The complainant also stated that she has been receiving several “unknown” phone calls and believes that it is the female making them. The complainant has two children with the male and all parties involved attend the same church. The complainant was advised to contact the police department if the female should come to her residence and approach her. She was also advised to provide the department a copy of the protection order when it is obtained.

Caller says her ex-boyfriend stated he was coming to hurt her. He is not there right now but she states he is on his way. She is unsure how he will arrive; he may take an Uber. Caller has voicemails of his threats . The suspect called the department and said that he’s walking to the apartments and would like an escort to go inside for property. He was advised to wait outside at the front door. The domestic dispute is over property and rent money. The female (accidentally) poured oil on the clothes of the male. She also refused to give him back half of the rent money. The male left voluntarily and turned over his key. The female was advised on how to apply for a restraining order in domestic relations court if she feels she is not safe at the residence.
