The caller advised there is a foster child who resides at this address. The child was kicked out of the home by her foster parents who are refusing to let her back in. The child is 18-years-old. The caller will meet officers at the main doors of the complex. The caller is not on the scene. Officers attempted to contact the foster mother via phone, but it goes right to voicemail. Officers located the caller and told her she could wait in the foyer area. Officers were unable to reach anyone at her apartment.

A female is in the police lobby to report harassing phone calls from her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend. An officer met with the listed male and female regarding the communications. The complainants stated the female has contacted them in excess of 50 times through messenger apps, text messages, and phone calls. While the officer spoke with the complainants, the ex-girlfriend called the male’s phone. An officer spoke with her and advised her to cease all contact with the complainants. The ex-girlfriend said the complainants have been harassing her. She was advised to contact her local police department to file a report. The complainants were advised not to have any contact with her and to notify the police if she continues to contact them.

Complainant called to report fraudulent use on his bank card. The complainant stated that unknown person(s) used his card to make several purchases without his permission. He advised that he still has his card in his possession. The total amount of the theft is $155.64. The complainant notified his bank of the fraud and stopped his account. The complainant was advised to check his credit report for any potential fraud.

An officer was conducting a walk-through of the business to disperse a crowd of juveniles that the employees usually have problems with. The cashier mentioned that 20 minutes ago a male walked in and took a bag of chips and walked out. The complainant states he did not call the police because he is unsure if his manager would want to pursue the matter or not. The complainant could not give a description of the male but stated when he talks to his manager again, he will see if she will look at the camera and pursue the matter further.

Caller says someone just hit one of her neighbor’s vehicles with a baseball bat and left the area in an older SUV toward Broadway Avenue. The vehicle has a loud exhaust. The person with the bat was a thin male wearing a grey hoodie. The damaged vehicle is in an open garage. There is a light on, but no one came out when the offense happened. The caller heard the noise and looked outside. Officers spoke with the vehicle’s owner who was unaware of the incident. The owners stated they have no suspicions as to who would have been responsible for the damage. Photos were taken of the damage to the rear window and the driver’s side rear window. Contact was made with the caller. She stated that she had never seen the suspect’s vehicle before. She did not see the driver, but described the passenger as a young male wearing a grey hoodie. The caller was advised to call back if the vehicle returned to the area.

The caller’s daughter just assaulted her by punching her in the head and kicking her. The caller is in the driveway, and the daughter is in the house. It is unknown if there are any weapons. The mother left for the evening. Officers spoke to the mother who stated she went to visit her daughter and her grandson and was attacked by the daughter for attempting to take the grandson. The daughter stated the mother came into the home uninvited and started to yell at the daughter about taking her grandson. Both parties state a mutual physical altercation took place, but both females declined to press charges and pursue it further. The mother agreed to leave without further incident.

Caller says that this truck has been parking alongside her building nightly and does not have permission to do so. It parks so close that she’s noticed damage to her building. She’d like an officer to help her identify the owner so that they can be advised to stop parking here. Officers spoke to the complainant. She was advised that this was a civil issue.

A complainant reported that an unknown person(s) slashed both driver’s side tires on his silver Ford and the passenger side tires on his neighbor’s red Pontiac. Both vehicles were parked in the carport. No security cameras are in the area. A note was left on the Pontiac for the owner to contact the police department. Photographs were taken.

An officer spoke with a complainant via phone who stated that an account was opened in his name at a local bank. The complainant states he was contacted by PNC thanking him for opening the account and he immediately went to the bank to verify. The bank advised the male that the account was opened in his name online on 3-26-20. After a brief investigation by the bank, they closed the account. Officers advised he has already been in contact with the Credit Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commission concerning identity theft.

The complainant called to report that person(s) unknown slashed her passenger side rear tire on her Ford, which was parked by the building last night, The party was advised to be outside by the vehicle. Photographs were taken. While checking the area,  the officer located several video cameras on the Broadway building. The officer spoke to a worker at a nearby company about the cameras. The worker advised that the cameras are functional and provided a contact number for the building owner. The officer contacted the building owner and advised her of the incident. She advised that she will check the video and call back if she observes anything.

Officer out speaking with male. The male was advised again to go back home for the night. Officers again located male out on the street. He was followed home and advised if he leaves the house again he could be arrested.

Officers responded for a possible domestic between mother and daughter. Both parties stated an altercation took place, but each had different stories on how it took place. The mother was upset that her daughter wanted to leave and felt she shouldn’t due to the stay-at-home order. The officer was unable to determine the primary physical aggressor due to the conflicting stories. The daughter gathered some things and left for the night.

The caller is reporting that she just got home and the back window of her house was broken. She is unsure if anyone got in, but she has been through the house and they aren’t there now. The female entered her home prior to officers arrival, checked the home and did not see a suspect nor any missing valuables. She did not believe any entry was made into her home and mentioned to officers that a similar incident occurred two years ago.

A female would like to report her wallet was stolen from a restaurant. She states she just realized her wallet was stolen on Thursday. The caller states she left her wallet on the counter. The next day two charges were flagged by her bank. The bank said there was a $70 charge to Door Dash and a $900 charge to Footlocker. They both were blocked by the bank. She recovered her wallet and the bank card was missing. She wants the information on file for the bank.

An anonymous caller stated there are about 10 kids — males and females — that are shoplifting from the store. The caller was a customer that is no longer there. An officer spoke to the clerk who pointed out a group of young adults and juveniles who were in line. All denied having any additional merchandise other than what they were purchasing. The clerk did not witness any shoplifting.

He has closed the doors and shut off the lights. The male is with officers at this time. An officer is en route to the station lobby with one female. The male is in custody.

Caller requests a call back from an officer in regards to being threatened by an employee from a plumbing company. The officer spoke with the caller, who stated that he had recent issues with the plumbing company regarding work they did on his girlfriend’s house. This evening the caller received a phone call from an individual who stated they were with the plumbing company and that the job he did was done correctly and he used expletives to the caller. The caller does not believe that this male will come to the house for retaliation, but he did want to notify police to keep special attention on his house this evening.

He states that his sister starts arguments every time she visits, and he would no longer like her to visit. The male was advised to speak with his sister about calling before visiting to avoid confrontation.

A male advised his ex-girlfriend stole his plates and he is afraid to drive as he does not want to get pulled over. An officer spoke with the complainant for a report of theft. The complainant stated that one of his ex-girlfriends stole his temporary tag the previous evening. The complainant stated that he sent her a text and asked why she took the tag.  She replied, “Because you won’t love me.” An officer attempted to call the ex-girlfriend’s phone but there was no answer, and a voicemail was left for her to contact the police department. The complainant mentioned that he will attempt to do what he can “on his end” to retrieve his tag from her, as she will only reply to him via text message. If unsuccessful, the complainant stated he will report the tag as lost/stolen in the near future.

A neighbor is reporting what sounds like a domestic dispute occuring inside one of the apartments. The caller only hears the disturbance but does not see what is happening. No mention of weapons was heard, but history shows there is a firearm in the closet of the home. Later, a female was on the line stating that she was choked out by her boyfriend, and she is locked in the bathroom. The female states that she tried to stab him with a kitchen knife. The knife was still somewhere in the apartment, but the female would not answer where. The caller states that the male does not have access to weapons. The caller is refusing to answer questions. Officers arrived and helped the female in the first-floor bathroom. A squad arrived for the male with the minor stab wound. An officer took the male subject to jail.

The complainant stated that she heard two bangs at the front of her house last evening. When she saw the eggs this morning she realized that was the noise she had heard. Officers spoke to both parties over the phone the next day. The male half claims the female is using an app to text him from different numbers and harass him. The female denied those claims and both parties were advised to cease any contact not related to their child custody.

Caller advised there is a male outside and is possibly intoxicated. The suspect tried to come in the restaurant. He was being belligerent and harassing customers that come in the store. He said, “You are lucky I don’t beat you up,” to the caller about five minutes ago. Officers found the male, who was walking home. He is having a hard day, and he will not be returning.

A caller is stating a female just attacked him at his house. The female is currently outside, and the male is declining a squad. Both parties have been drinking alcohol. A son is in the house as well. Officers spoke to the female who stated they were both drinking and the male got mad and dragged her out of the house by her hair. The female stated she never put her hands on the male and that he was overreacting. The female also had a cut on her forehead that she states came from the male pulling her hair. When asked, the female stated that she did not want to pursue the matter and that she just wanted to go home. The female was very reluctant in letting officers take pictures of her injuries and was uncooperative with the EMS and did not let them tend to her injury. The male stated the female was drinking and started to act out and attack him. The male stated when the female started to attack him he did throw her out of his home. The male had scratch marks and minor injuries on him and declined the squad. The male stated he also did not want to pursue the matter, he just wanted the female out of his house. Both parties were advised they can fill out statements when sober if they wish.

Caller stated her husband is out of control. Male has been physical, and there is a firearm in a gun safe in the home. There are two daughters in the home, 13- and 11-years-old. The male is going down into the basement to grab the firearm. The male is in the kitchen, and it is unknown if he has the firearm. Officers are with the male outside. The female caller stated to officers that she and her husband are currently going through a divorce and had an argument about sleeping arrangements. The female stated that in the past the male has put his hands on her, but that did not happen tonight. Neither party had any visible injuries. Parties were advised to stay away from each other for the night, and in the future, until the divorce can be finalized.

Officers spoke to the complainant over the phone. About a month ago, the complainant deposited $500 into her bank account on the west side of Cleveland. She alleged that the same day, someone used her account information and purchased five money orders from Walmart for the $100 each. She is unsure who could’ve done this and has already filed a fraud claim with the bank. They will be closing the account once the dispute is settled. She was provided the report number

Officer saw a sign on the door that said “delivery is at the door — call for service and we will meet you at the door.” The employee on the scene said his lawyer said he could open. Police spoke with the Cuyahoga Board of Health. GameStop convinced the state that they are an essential business. They can be open.

The party was advised about parking on the lawn. He will move the vehicle. All parties were advised to have no further contact with each other to avoid future problems.

Caller advised he can feel the bass from the music at his home which is located across the street and several houses down from where the music is playing. The homeowner playing the music showed the officer how loud the stereo was set to. The music was loud inside the residence and could be heard outside the front bedroom window, however, it was not at a level which would be considered in violation. We have responded to the listed address numerous times the past couple weeks and have only had one valid complaint. The caller was advised the sound levels are not in violation. The mother of the juvenile who is playing the music states the music is not too loud and feels she is being harassed. The caller was requesting suggestions on how to handle the situation and he was advised to contact closer neighbors to see if there are others with the same complaint.

Caller reports a disturbance outside. Subject left in a car towards Northfield Road. The caller said someone said, “Put down the gun.” Another car was involved and she did not know what make it was. Officer observed a vehicle matching the description of a vehicle involved in the disturbance turning onto Northfield Road. The vehicle was stopped on Willard Avenue. Officers did a protective sweep of the vehicle and no firearm was located. Officers questioned the male occupant from the vehicle, who stated he got into a verbal argument with an unknown male on Berwyn Drive and the unknown male had a handgun he held out to his side at some point in the argument. This is when the male left with his girlfriend and was stopped by officers on Willard.

Caller states her neighbor came over banging on her door saying someone is breaking into his house. The male is on her porch. He is known to use drugs so the caller is not sure if he is high, or if someone is breaking in. Caller does not see anything next door. Officers checked the home. The male was highly intoxicated and appeared to be high on an illegal narcotic. The male stated that someone came in his locked side door, causing no damage, and ran around his house. Male stated the person was trying to sell him a cell phone and attempting to steal his data from inside him. This is the second time the male made these statements to this officer. The residence was not checked due to the egregious allegations and it is not being known if a dangerous dog was inside. Male was advised to stop drinking and taking illegal narcotics for the night, and advised to call in the morning if further assistance is needed.

A female is reporting a domestic and that she was assaulted. She maced the male. The male called to report the same, and he is requesting EMS. Officers went to the scene and located the male. They advised that the door to the apartment was open but there was no answer. Officers are checking the apartment. The female left the scene prior to the arrival of officers.  The male will be transported to the Bedford Medical Center. An officer spoke with the male in the emergency room. He is still contaminated with the spray and is being treated. He was advised to respond to the police department for a report after release. A written statement was obtained from both parties. The prosecutor ruled there would be no charges as the department was unable to determine a primary aggressor.

The caller advised that he was just assaulted by his brother. There are no weapons, drugs or alcohol involved. The caller is declining a squad, but stated he was hit in the head. Upon arrival, officers spoke to both parties. The father arrived on scene and showed officers the video from the interior of the house. Both males were actively engaged in fighting and damaging the house. Both brothers were issued summons for disorderly conduct and released at the scene.

The male stated on the phone that the female, who he had an altercation with last night, called him today on multiple different numbers. If the female does go to his house unexpectedly, the male was advised to contact the police department to keep this ongoing situation from escalating.

Officers responded to the address and spoke with a female who stated that her ex-boyfriend, whom she has a protection order against, entered her home through the window. She was not on the scene when the male made entry. Three of her friends state they were there, but they didn’t call the police. Both the male and the female are on the lease together, but they have been evicted and were to be out of the unit by April 9. A female on scene states she was asleep on the couch when the male entered through the window and said he was there to pick up property. Two of the friends who stated that they observed the male entering the house refused to provide legible statements describing the incident. No further action taken.

A Safely Home employee came to the police department regarding an incident that happened while restraining a juvenile at the home earlier today. The complainant stated that a 15-year-old male who lives at the home got irate and bit her and hit her while she was trying to restrain him with other employees. The female stated that she was told by her coworkers to have this incident documented. Photos were taken of injuries and added to the report. She does not wish to pursue charges at this time.

Officers responded to the above address for a possible disturbance. Upon arrival, officers observed a large group of juvenile females fighting. The females were identified and their parents were contacted. All active participants in the fight will be charged with disorderly conduct through juvenile court.

The caller would like to speak with an officer regarding his ex-girlfriend harassing him. He advised he has recordings of her admitting to stealing some of his belongings. He is okay with an officer calling him. An officer spoke to the male on the phone, and he was advised on how to obtain a protection/no contact order against the female and to document any other communication she has with him. The officer also called the female to advise her to stop contacting the male.

A caller advised someone burglarized her home in the last hour. She doesn’t believe they are there now. She said $1000 in cash was taken, but she hasn’t noticed if anything else is missing. The suspects came in through the bathroom window. The caller’s brother is now at the house with the caller.

Caller says his brother stole from him, trashed the house and is threatening his mother. The suspect is running toward Dunham Road. The suspect had brandished a knife at the caller; it’s not known if he still has it. Caller says the male kicked him. The caller refused to answer more questions and hung up. An officer is out with the suspect. A squad was sent for the suspect who is banging his head on the cruiser. They are transporting male to the station.

Caller advised she was just robbed. A gun was brandished by a male, and he left in a vehicle in an unknown direction of travel. The caller has the male’s phone number. The female was going to buy two iPhone 11s from him. The caller is still on location. Officers were dispatched to Ellenwood, and the victim stated she went to buy the two iPhones for $1,100 from OfferUp. The suspected vehicle arrived and two males exited the car and robbed her at gunpoint. Officers identified one of the suspects as a male juvenile from Eldred Avenue based on the cell phone number used to communicate with the victim. That suspect then gave up the other suspect in the robbery, and officers located the suspect’s vehicle at William Street. The homeowner gave officers consent to search the vehicle and they located a grey book bag with a black BB gun inside. After being mirandized, one of the suspects admitted to the robbery and provided a written statement to what occurred. He also took officers to the location of the money and surrendered it to officers. All evidence and photos were entered into the report. A voicemail was left for the victim to contact the department to make arrangements to pick up her cash.

A 12-year-old male is reportedly beating up his dad. The child has rage issues and just got out of a residential facility. There are no guns or weapons on the scene, and the dad does not need an ambulance. He advised the juvenile has not been taking his medication. When officers arrived, the juvenile was calm and took his meds upon officers request. All parties advised they would keep the peace for the night.

A caller reports a male is running down the street after an alleged burglary. The home was unsecured and male entered and was rummaging around. Apparently the male went in to retrieve his phone, which he left earlier, and the complainant did not recognize him at first and thought he was being robbed.

An officer spoke with a female for a report of a stolen vehicle. The female stated her ex-boyfriend took her vehicle after they broke up. The female does not have an extra key to the vehicle and does not know where the male is living. The female stated she attempted to call and text him multiple times but there was no answer. The department called him and left a voicemail advising him to call. Later, the female contacted the department and stated her vehicle was returned. No further police action taken.

The Caller states a tenant is ripping all the windows out of the house.  The landlord said the tenant has some mental health issues. The landlord is not on scene, but a neighbor is sending her pictures of the damage being done. A squad transported the suspect to the Bedford Medical Center.

A complainant stated she was attempting to rent a town home and was denied. When looking into the reason she was denied, she discovered that an electricity bill was put into her name from March 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona. The complainant stated this was not her and she had never been to Arizona. The complainant wanted this incident documented to have this taken off her credit.

The tenant moved out and backed a U-Haul into a garage port and damaged it. Officers spoke to the complainant about the damage to the property. One of the tenants was allegedly moving out and struck the parking garage wall with a truck. The complainant already initiated an insurance claim with U-Haul and provided the name of who he believes is responsible. U-Haul insurance is investigating, but the complainant  just needed to document the damage. He was provided the report number.

A male met a juvenile female online who stated she was 17 going on 18 years old. The male brought the female to his residence for a few days prior to learning she was missing and that she was actually 15 years old. The male stated he kicked her out after learning her true age. Today he was notified by a family member that the juvenile in question posted his Social Security number online and possibly the Dark Web. The male provided a text that was supposedly from the female stating she would do this. The male also had a picture of a screen shot sent from a relative’s Facebook showing his personal info. The male was advised on how to protect his Social Security number and where to go for identity theft information. The male stated he is unable to do any of the recommendations today due to not having cell phone service in his house. The female hung up on officers when she was called.
