The complainant is in the lobby reporting threats made by the father of her child. This stems from ongoing custody issues between the two. She states that on one of his many Instagram accounts, he messaged her that this is the last time. The comment was in regards to him allegedly missing his parenting time. The complainant was advised the comment does rise to the criminal level, and she was directed to the domestic relations court to modify or change their parenting agreement.

The female caller would like to report her wallet is missing/stolen. She last saw it about 20 minutes ago as she was loading groceries in her car. The wallet contained a large sum of cash and credit cards. The complainant stated she left her wallet in a shopping cart, and that $500 in cash, her license and multiple credit cards were in the wallet. She contacted Giant Eagle and was notified two males located the wallet and left the area. The complainant stated unknown persons later returned her wallet to her house. The $500 cash is missing, but everything else appears to be there.

Officers spoke to a mother who stated that she wanted her son transported for an evaluation for refusal to take his medication. While officers were on the scene, the son had a change in mental status and became irate with his mother and father. EMS transported the male to the Bedford Medical Center for an evaluation. A short time later the male was able to walk away from staff. Officers assisted in helping to locate the male with hospital security with negative results. The male was entered into leads as missing.

Officers responded for a violation of protection order report that resulted in a gun being fired. Officers arrived and spoke to the victim who states her ex-boyfriend showed up at her apartment. The victim and her family members are listed as protected parties in a protection order issued by Cleveland Municipal Court. The victim asked the male to leave, and as he was walking through the parking lot, he fired one round into the air before leaving the area in a silver car. The silver vehicle was located by detectives in Cleveland. The male was then observed getting into a black car, which was followed by detectives back into Bedford where it was stopped and the male was taken into custody. The male is to be charged with violation of TPO, aggravated menacing, weapons under disability and assault on a corrections officer.

She has caught the male cheating on her in the past. She thought the cheating was over, but found out he was going to meet the other girl at a hotel tonight. She tried to prevent the male from leaving the house. He then grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the ground. He then left the residence. The female began to fill out a statement. When it was completed, she stated she did not want to turn the statement in or sign it. She then left the lobby.

A male in the police lobby would like to speak with an officer regarding being assaulted by his 22-year-old niece, who threw his wife’s walker at him. The niece also threw bleach and toilet bowl cleaner at him but missed. The male said last night she got upset with him and his wife because he would not allow her to use their SNAP food card. The male alleges that the niece threw a walker at him and attempted to throw toilet bowl bleach on him but the majority of it got onto his wife. The male said his wife would not talk to police about last night to protect the niece. The male did want the niece arrested. He did not have any visible marks from the alleged assault.

The caller is a third-party in Macedonia. She was speaking with her son on the phone who said there is a man outside with a gun. No shots were fired, but the caller said the male with the gun was waving it around. An unknown male was soon detained related to the incident. A second caller described the scene as a male arguing with a mother, and he had a gun in his hand. She does not know where he put the gun. A third caller stated that several people had guns, but would not talk to dispatch, and there was a lot of screaming. Another call was received from a female that stated there was a lot of yelling and screaming in this area. She said she was unable to tell if anyone had any weapons because she said she was not going to look. Later, a female reported the parties who were arrested came to visit a certain apartment in the complex. Two parties had weapons. The males came on foot. Another caller later reported that people from the earlier incident came back and snuck up on the caller, and she saw a gun. She said they took off running towards Egbert Road. Two males were detained. Marymount Hospital stated they had no victims with gunshot wounds, but they would call if one came in. South Pointe just had a gunshot wound come in. They are checking to see if it came from Bedford. Upon callback, the female stated the gunshot victim was at the hospital. She would not give any further details. South Pointe advised they had a male victim who lives in Warrensville Heights. South Pointe advised the male stated that he was either shot at Giant Eagle in Maple Heights, the Shell station in North Randall, or “right up the street” from South Pointe. South Pointe will be calling in with further information when it is obtained. Officers found a shell casing located at the corner of Dalepark Drive.

A female said her car was vandalized, and she was sprayed with mace. The suspects are two females known to the victim. They ran towards the railroad tracks, and now they are driving south on Broadway in a dark colored car. One of the females was hitting a male with a club object. A squad is requested for a male who was pepper sprayed.

They were attempting to retrieve property when they were threatened by the child’s father and his parents. The threats occurred over the phone and it is unclear where the male is right now. The female caller came home at 0130 hours and found out someone had broken in. The suspect(s) stole some money from her and tossed the caller’s apartment. The caller does not have any suspects in mind. The caller did not notice any damage to the door, and her door was locked when she came home. Officers found there was no break in. The mystery was solved, and the money was located. It was on the floor of the closet where the caller couldn’t reach it. It was retrieved for her.

She was advised to call and have her card cancelled and to bring any transactions to the police department to see if they can obtain a video.

The event being reported happened either on June 3rd or 4th. A couple of girls slashed the female caller’s tires and she would like to make a report. The damage was actually originally reported on 6/2/21, and the complainant’s boyfriend at the time paid for the repairs to the tires. The complainant stated that her tires were slashed again on 6/10/21 at her home in Bedford Heights and she suspects the same females from the incident in Bedford. The complainant was told that she has to report the incident to the Bedford Heights Police Department.

The caller just got custody of his daughter, but the mother is not complying with turning the daughter over. The caller wants to press kidnapping charges. Officers spoke to the caller in the lobby who stated he was just granted custody of his daughter, and his baby’s mother who lives in Akron refuses to give him his daughter. The caller had an email designating he now has custody but did not have official court paperwork. The male was advised to obtain that paperwork. He said he just wanted the incident documented. Also, the male wanted to press charges for child endangerment and was advised he would have to do that with the Akron Police.

The male that answered the phone stated he does not know the person in question. The business was advised to call the police department should this former employee contact them again.

Officers attempted to contact the daughter who is most probably the power of attorney of the female in an attempt to come up with a solution for the female’s mental well-being. The daughter did not answer the phone and a voicemail was left.

A male complainant is in the lobby. He needs another male removed from his house. His now ex-girlfriend (who lives there) cheated on him, and the male is still at his house and is likely intoxicated. An officer spoke to the male in the lobby who stated he found out today that his live-in girlfriend was cheating on him. Before going home, he wanted officers to go to his home and talk to his girlfriend — and the male who was over there — about leaving. The complainant was advised on the eviction process through the court. Officers attempted to make contact at the home, but it appeared no one was home. The complainant was also advised to call the police department if an escort was needed in the future to prevent the situation from escalating.

The caller advised there is a male following him at the apartment complex. The caller advised the male was putting his hands in his pants. The caller is waiting in a vehicle. The caller can see the male following him on foot while the caller is in his vehicle. Officers arrived on the scene and located a male walking through a grass area. They are also out with the caller. The suspect stated that he was looking for a charger for his phone. He showed a felony EWW out of the county. The male briefly attempted to elude officers and was taken into custody. He was transported to Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office without incident. Officers later found the male’s property after he was transported. His property was entered into evidence and is to be returned.

The female complainant explained she had been living with her child’s father, but she moved out two days ago to separate herself from the situation. Since moving, the complainant has received many text messages and calls after she advised her child’s father to stop. The complainant has also made reports in other cities about the harassment as well. The female was advised on how to obtain a protection order through the county and to contact the police department if the harassment continues. An officer spoke to the child’s father who was advised to stop contacting the complainant. The child’s father was advised to reach out to the complainant’s family if he needed any information about child arrangements.

The mother stated she is attempting to find a program for the juvenile to learn responsibility and maturity. The mother will possibly file an unruly teen petition at a later time.

Officers spoke with both parties involved. The complainant was advised to return to the station in the morning to file a report for assault due to high levels of intoxication.

The complainant stated that her child’s father is late in bringing her child back as discussed earlier. She stated she contacted him, and he stated he would not bring the child back without a police officer present. The child and father arrived and the custody exchange was completed. The complainant’s current boyfriend then started to yell at the other male. The boyfriend stated the child’s father was threatening to put a bullet in his head over text messages. The male calmed down, and the father left the scene. The male was advised on some ways to help calm the situation. The City Hall lot was recommended for future custody exchanges.

The caller is reporting an assault that occurred yesterday by her ex-boyfriend. The male reportedly choked the caller, scratched her face and dragged her out of a car. An officer spoke with a female victim in the lobby regarding an assault that occurred on 06/21/2021 at approximately 0300 hours. The victim advised that the male and her do not currently live together or have children together but did live with each other at one time months ago. The victim stated her ex-boyfriend was driving her home from his residence in Warrensville Heights when he began assaulting her by placing his one hand around her neck and began strangling her. The male then proceeded to drive off and continue to the victim’s residence. While in a nearby parking spot, the victim stated the male told her to get out of his vehicle, but she refused due to being unable to locate her cell phone. The victim then stated the male began to pull her out of the car and “put his hands on her.” The victim then advised she began to fight the male back. The male was then able to get the victim outside of his vehicle and began to throw her property around the immediate area before leaving. The victim then stated after the physical altercation, the male returned to the area in front of her residence and helped her look for her property. She also stated she did leave her residence with the male and did stay with him at his residence until she was able to get a ride to the police station. The officer observed a small scratch near the victim’s right eye which she stated was from the male assaulting her. The officer then photographed the injury. The victim advised that she was assaulted once in Warrensville Heights and once in Bedford near her residence. An officer made contact with the male via phone who stated he did not assault the female, but they were involved in a verbal altercation due to her not wanting to exit his vehicle. The male did not elaborate further and was advised to return to the police station to complete a statement. The victim stated she did want to pursue criminal charges and voluntarily completed a witness statement. All information is to be given to the prosecutor for a prosecutor ruling. The victim was also advised of how to obtain a civil protection order. No further police action is required.

The complainant is an authorized user of her daughter’s account. Since that time numerous deposits, withdrawals and purchases have been made using the card. At this time, the account has been deprived of approximately $1,300. This information has already been reported to the bank.

The male was released from the Bedford Jail today and there is a protection order prohibiting him from being at the residence. Officers responded and spoke with the male. He was advised he is not to be at the residence. Officers stood by while he gathered his items and left. The male’s parole officer came to the police station regarding incidents from the past two days. She stated she will charge the male with violating the conditions of his parole. She requested officers hold the male and contact her.

An officer responded and spoke with a female for a report of child endangerment. The female stated that while her daughter was visiting her father on 6-20-2021, the 10-year-old child of her father’s girlfriend shaved her daughter’s eyebrows and plucked her eyelashes. The female stated her child’s father does not have any custody, and she cannot put up with the drama anymore. The female advised that she has her child’s father blocked on every platform of communication and would call the police if the father continues to be a problem.

A female had a guest over and he left. He forgot something, so she let him back in, and now he is refusing to leave. He is a friend of the caller. The male started yelling at the caller, and she kept yelling “stop touching me.” She is hurt but doesn’t want an ambulance. The male is making threats to beat up the female. He is now leaving. The caller would still like to speak with police. As an officer went in to speak with the female, the male came back and started yelling at her from the parking lot. The male was refusing to leave the property, but proceeded to leave. The female was advised to call the police if he returns, and he was advised not to return to the property or he would be arrested for trespass.

The caller says her ex-boyfriend just threatened her life. He threatened to shoot his own sister, then her and then himself. Yesterday, he went to his sister’s house and threw a bullet at her. When it fell to the ground, he told his sister that “the next one you’ll catch.” The caller says the male was recently released from prison and is on parole, and she fears for her own and her child’s safety. An officer responded and spoke with the female for a report of threats. The female stated this morning while she was at work at the above address, her ex-boyfriend called her and began arguing about not spending enough time together. The female stated that after the phone call, the male texted her stating, “I’m going to shoot my sister, then you, then myself.” The female mentioned after she received the threatening text message, she blocked his phone number, which then deleted the entire text conversation. She was advised that the department would document her report and that if the threats persist, she would need to make a report with Cleveland Police as that is where she resides.

A male is reporting his friend dropped him off and stole $1,600 worth of music equipment he had just bought. It is unclear if the incident happened in Cleveland near W. 25 Street or in Bedford. The caller wanted the subject to be aware he may file charges if the items are not returned. The alleged stolen items are cell phone cases and speaker equipment valued at $1,600. He was given a report number and advised if the items are not returned, he can bring receipts for the items and report the theft. When he was told this is considered a theft, the caller states the male had a gun and wants a robbery report. The caller has been drinking. He will contact the department for any further police action.

A male called to report he just arrived at the house he is working on and noticed $5,000 worth of materials in the backyard missing. The caller stated some landscaping stones were taken from his backyard. He suspects a male he used for landscaping may have taken them. They initially had an agreement for the stones to be used as a partial payment for work on the house. The caller states he decided not to use the stones as payment, and stated he paid the worker in cash, and the worker was upset. There is an unknown value of the stones. The caller did not originally pay for them; they were already at the house when he took ownership. The caller wants this information on file for now until he is sure who may have taken the stones. He will contact the department with any further information.

When the complainant told him it was not his responsibility for the child, the father got upset and started threatening the complainant. He made mention he had a gun on his seat and he would take care of him. The complainant did not want to pursue the matter, but wanted it documented. Officers checked the area for the other male, but were unable to locate him.

He stated that he received a bill from the Illuminating Company in the amount of $361.19 for 05/02/2021 to 06/10/2021. The complainant stated that the Illuminating Company needs proof that he was no longer a resident at the disputed time but claims the apartment leasing office is not cooperating and will not provide documentation. The complainant was advised that his claim would be on file with the police department and was given his civil options to resolve the matter.

Officers spoke to the wife who stated that the caller becomes emotional and angered when she drinks heavily. The wife denied any physical altercation. The caller agreed to stay outside until her cousin arrived.

The caller, who was still highly intoxicated, stated that she was in a verbal argument with her wife and was struck in the head by an ashtray. The caller’s cousin added that an ashtray was thrown, and the caller was hit in the head. Officers spoke to the caller’s wife who stated that she did throw an ashtray but did not throw it at the caller, nor did it make contact with the caller. The wife added that the caller was in her face yelling and pushing her when she threw the ashtray down the stairs. The caller was advised that if she wished to proceed with any charges, to come in once sober and officers would handle it appropriately at that time. The caller had no visible injuries or marks. Later, both parties provided written statements of the night’s events. All will be forwarded to the prosecutor for a review of charges. Later, the complainant came on station to follow up and ask that no charges be filed in the above incidents. The report was forwarded to the prosecutor office on 06/27/21. She was advised that the investigating officer will be notified and the report noted that she came up to the station.

An officer spoke to the complainant from the restaurant who stated a male accompanied by a female had breakfast at the restaurant. The male attempted to pay the bill ($25.22) with a credit card that kept declining payment. The male and female left the restaurant stating they were going to get cash from their vehicle. They then left in a black SUV without paying the bill. Officers attempted to make contact with the registered owner of the car and left a voicemail. The restaurant did not want to pursue any criminal charges and just wanted the incident documented. The female half called back stating she did not know the male’s transaction did not go through, and that she will contact the business to pay for the meal.

The female caller said her wife busted her lip, however, this officer did not see any physical injuries on the exterior of her mouth or inside of it. The female caller said she saw her wife go outside and key the driver side door of her vehicle before leaving. This officer did notice a scratch on the driver side door but it is unknown when the scratch occured. An officer spoke with a neighbor across the street from the listed address who said he heard arguing but did not see anything physical. An officer was able to make contact with the wife on the phone who denied striking the caller nor keying her vehicle. The wife was asked to come into the station to fill out a written statement if she would like.

The caller is reporting someone threw a rock through her parents’ window. She doesn’t know who did it. She just came over and noticed the damage. She has a camera and is checking the footage. An officer observed the front window of the home broken due to a metal pellet. The pellet was found on the ground outside of the window. The female has video, but it does not show any suspect person(s) or vehicle(s). The video just has audio of the pellet striking the window at 12:50 pm today (6-26-21). The pellet broke the front pane, but the second pane of glass was intact. Photos were taken of the damage and of the pellet.

The suspect left it behind the Walgreens by the dumpster. The suspect left going down the railroad tracks. The complainant stated he did not want to pursue charges but wanted the male advised not to come on his property. The complainant was advised to keep his property locked up at all times.

A verbal argument occurred between the caller, her boyfriend, and several friends. The caller stated the argument had been going on all night. The caller alleged that the argument got to the point that her boyfriend twisted her arm and kicked her thumb. The caller had no visible injuries and was medically cleared by paramedics. After being cleared, the caller became extremely uncooperative and angered that her boyfriend had her house keys. The caller refused to allow officers to photograph her and refused to cooperate with any further investigation into her allegations. The female did have a ride on the way and was advised not to return to the residence.

Security has a shoplifter in custody. An officer is requested for a report. The male shoplifter will be advised on trespassing. He had a warrant that was good through Maple Heights Police and officers were planning on dropping him off at that station. Instead, a squad was requested for the male, who was breathing heavy and didn’t feel well. The male was transported to the hospital, and Maple Heights was advised. The Giant Eagle employee did not wish to pursue criminal charges for theft. In total, the items taken included nine steaks valued at a total for $144.27. The male left his book bag, and when officers attempted to return it to him at the hospital, he was already gone. The book bag was placed into property.

The agent went to his home in Warrensville Heights where he gave the Realtor the deed to have signed as well as $25,000 cash to purchase the property. Since that transaction, the agent has not produced the signed deed or refunded the cash. The male was directed to Warrensville Heights Police Department for the report.

Officers were able to make contact with the female and advised her that if she did not pay her bill, she would be charged with theft. She agreed she would pay the bill.

He was advised to contact the police department when he wishes to file a report.
