Location: Turney Road
Caller states her boyfriend left in her car headed left out of parking lot approximately five minutes ago. After several attempts to reach her at the apartment, and by phone, the officer cleared because the complainant wasn’t answering.

Code: Burglary in Progress (Suspicion)
Location: Nordham Drive
Caller says a tall male just walked up his neighbor’s driveway wearing a respirator around his neck. He then heard a noise in the house, and it looks like the door screens have been ripped open. Male is walking around outside the house wearing a multi-colored shirt and jeans. Caller knows that his neighbors are at work. He has everything on video camera. Screen on the side door is pushed in, but the interior door is locked. Officers spoke with a resident from Avalon Drive. The man in question works for a landscaper who was hired by the homeowner to cut down a tree in the backyard. The man was clearing the small brush prepping the tree for removal. Officer spoke with the man’s boss and verified the story.

Caller on station to report a sexual assault. Occurred on Forbes Road but does not know the exact address. Since incident occurred in Oakwood Village, she was advised to go to their station.

Location: Washington Court
The complainant stated she received a call from a male this morning telling her that he has locked her computer and her bank account at PNC. The male told her if she sends $5000, he will unlock her computer. The complainant did not send any money. The complainant contacted PNC Bank and her account has not been compromised. She was advised to unplug her computer and contact a computer repair technician. The complainant was told to contact the Ohio Attorney General’s Office to report the attempted fraud.

Victim reports that sometime between this morning and the time of call, person(s) unknown stole a Stihl leaf blower from his driveway. The blower is valued at $150. There were no witnesses to the theft.

Location: Solon Road (Wolf’s Cove Apartments)
Female arguing with male. Advised male is her boyfriend, intoxicated. Male grabbed callers neck. She hit him with a bottle. Male left apartment. Male wearing black shirt and jean shorts, facial hair. Male called stating he was at his residence in Maple Heights. He was advised to come in tomorrow for his side of the story. The argument occurred between boyfriend and girlfriend over past relationships. The argument turned into a mutual physical altercation between the two. Both parties declined to pursue the matter any further and were advised to stay away from each other for the night to keep the peace and to speak with each other when sober.

Viewed video of a blue Subaru clearly backing into a parked gold Toyota. The Subaru improperly backed into the left side of the Toyota, and then as people approached the Subaru, left the scene to evade giving any information. The Subaru left and headed towards I-271.

Location: Union Street
Someone just broke into caller’s home. Caller states it was a male who walked back out. Now walking on Union towards downtown. Male is wearing a green hat and caller is following him. Officers have the male stopped, and are out with the caller as well. The house is being rehabbed. When the caller opened the door the male was sleeping in the house. There is a broken back window, empty beer cans, and blood possibly from when the male suspect broke the window. Officer checking the home now. Male transported to jail.

Ninth-grade student attacked a fellow ninth-grade student. To be charged with assault in Juvenile Court.

Bedford Nissan needs to file a report. Male driver with green construction vest in a silver pickup truck with construction lights took four tires from their property. Suspect headed on Broadway Avenue toward Cleveland. No plates.

Male advising that someone stole a watch and radio was stolen from him. Male called earlier; his nurse advised that he suffers from dementia and is not in need of Police, Fire or EMS. Dispatch spoke with his nurse again to ensure that no public safety personnel needed.

Sometime overnight, someone stole the left rear wheel off of the caller’s Chevrolet and left the car up on bricks. She has no idea who would have done this.

Caller states sister used her credit card without permission. Sister used card to Uber to a different address. Officers spoke to the caller who provided a statement of her bank balance that showed a transaction was made to Uber. Caller states that she let her sister use Uber in the past with her credit card. The caller lives in a different city and was advised to go to that police department and file a report there.

Location: Northfield Road (Northfield Park Apartments)
Caller states that the parties from the disturbance earlier stole two tablets and a cell phone. The caller believes her daughter and daughter’s boyfriend stole two tablets and a cell phone from her residence. There were no witnesses to the incident.

Caller states he thinks people have entered the garage and taken some items. Home is vacant. They have checked on it, but today have entered the garage and noted the items.

Location: Rockside Road (Rick Case Mitsubishi Hyundai)
Female was inside the service shop when someone hit her Audi in the lot. She was unable to obtain any suspect vehicle information. The complainant was parked in the parking lot and her car was unattended. When she came out, an unknown car or object struck the rear right side of her bumper causing a scratch.

Location: Gould Avenue
Caller states her daughter rented a bedroom set from a rental place. She told them she only had half of the payment. The company was not happy with that and sent another car from their company and started harassing and threatening the caller and her daughter saying, “I got something for you.” The rental place employees have since left the area, but caller would like to file a threats report. The complainant stated that five males from the place were intimidating her due to a civil matter involving a bedroom set. She was advised to call the company to file a complaint with them and to call the police if they come back and she wishes to have the police stand by.

Female on station to report that her ex-husband has made threats to come to the residence and beat her up. Officers spoke to the caller who stated that her daughter told her that, “She was going to get her father on her.” The female states that no specific threats have been made but she does not feel safe. Officers advised her if anything arises in a emergency situation to call the police.

Caller in the lobby reporting a male in a Dodge Magnum pulled a gun on him by the tracks. The male told him to give him his car. The caller drove away and the male followed him until he lost him at the post office. The complainant stated he was waiting for the train to pass on Grace Street at Edgewood Avenue. While he was waiting, a Dodge pulled up next to him and the front seat passenger pointed a black gun at him and said, “You’re gonna give up that car.” The complainant then sped away down Edgewood Avenue headed for Powers Road. The car turned around at Powers Road and went back the way it came. There were three males in the car and the male who pulled the gun appeared to be in his 20’s. The complainant had no other information.

Location: Grand Boulevard
Caller states her husband has beaten her up and her adult son is holding him down. No weapons in the home. Husband is intoxicated. Caller refused a rescue squad. Upon officer arrival, everyone was calm and separated. The female stated her husband grabbed her hair during an argument. When her son saw this, he attempted to separate them. The two of them then had a brief shoving match and the son went upstairs. The caller stated she just wanted the husband to go to bed because he only gets this way when he drinks, otherwise they are fine. All parties went to different rooms for the evening.

Elderly female reporting her granddaughter took her vehicle yesterday and has not returned it. Officers spoke to the caller who stated she asked her granddaughter to move her car into a parking spot. She states that her granddaughter never returned and she has tried to contact her numerous times with no answer. Officers obtained a possible phone number for the granddaughter and a message was left. Update: Officers spoke to the complainant who stated her granddaughter recently brought the vehicle back and she would like no further police action.

Location: Rockside Road and Broadway Avenue
Officers were dispatched to the above address for a reported hit/skip of a car striking a three-wheeled bicycle. When officers arrived on scene, the complainant advised that his son and himself were riding their three-wheeled bicycle, traveling eastbound on Rockside Road. While they were crossing over Broadway Avenue, a blue vehicle, turning westbound onto Rockside Road from Broadway Avenue, struck the back end of the bicycle knocking his son off of the bike and damaging the back left wheel. The complainant advised that the suspected vehicle was a Chevrolet and that the operator of the vehicle was a female. He stated that she said that she did not have time to stop and drove off traveling westbound on Rockside Road. The complainant’s daughter was also with them riding her own bike, but was not involved in the collision. The complainant was asked if he would like a squad to check on his son and he advised that he did not need it. He was given a police report number and advised on how to obtain a copy.

Officers were dispatched to the lobby for a caller advising that his vehicle was stolen from his mother’s house at the above address and would like a police report completed. Officers spoke with the complainant, he stated that he last saw his vehicle Saturday evening. The vehicle was left unlocked and he was not aware the vehicle was taken until that morning. The complainant advised officers that within the vehicle he had a $9,500 gold chain necklace and a $1,500 “Gucci” bag. He filled out and signed a stolen vehicle addendum, and was given a police report number and advised on how to obtain a copy of the report.
