The caller states that she heard a loud thud last night and didn’t think much of it. This morning, she woke up and found that her front door was bent. She believes someone tried to pry open her door. An officer spoke with the complainant who stated she heard two loud thud noises around 2300 hours. When she went outside today, she observed her door was damaged. Pictures of the damage were taken. The complainant does not have video at her residence.

The caller advised there is a male sitting on the bench begging for money from people at the ATM. The caller advised the male got in his face and told the caller he just got out of prison. The party is wearing a blue shirt, jean shorts and gold glasses. This has been going on for about a week. Officers witnessed the male leave the area. While watching him, the officers did not see the male ask anyone for money.

Broadway Avenue (BP)
Officer spoke with the employee who was inside the business. The employee stated that the issue involved a customer who was previously banned from the store by several employees on several different occasions. Today, when the male entered the store, he was immediately told by employees, and the owner of the business, to leave, but the male began to argue with them and began to make threats. At that time, the complainant came out from behind the register and had a large wooden stick in his hand. This employee never left the store or came close to the male. The male then exited the business, entered his car, and struck a parked vehicle. An officer spoke with the male, who stated that he was never told that he was banned from the store, and that while speaking with the owner via telephone, the owner told him he was allowed on the property. The officer then spoke with the owner of the business, who was able to show video surveillance footage from the interior and exterior of the business.
The recorded video shows the following:
– the male enters the business and is immediately told by staff to leave.
– the male can be seen arguing with the employees
– when the male begins to exit the business, the employee who was behind the register comes in front of the register holding a wooden bat/club down by his side. The employee does not exit the building, nor does he follow the male out of the property.
The owner did not wish to pursue charges, but wanted the male formally advised of trespassing. When the male was advised, he stated he did not believe what the officer was telling him regarding the video and wanted to pursue charges. The officer advised the male that after viewing the video, the only person who could pursue any charges would be the owner against him for trespassing. The male was not content with the officer’s findings and left the scene.

The caller is not staying in her apartment right now because of an ongoing court case. The victim in the case seems to be sending people to the caller’s apartment for some reason. The caller keeps seeing younger boys go to her door, examine her camera and then leave. She doesn’t feel safe coming in to fill out a report, and she was providing this information over the phone. Officers spoke to the caller in the lobby who stated on 8-28-23 around 2048 and 2306 hours, two males of a young age walked by her apartment door. She stated her boyfriend was the shooter of an incident that took place in July of this year and she is afraid that there might be a retaliation since this date was the date of the hearing. She showed officers the video, and the video showed at the hours listed above two different males walking by her apartment. She states she is worried because she has never seen them before. In the videos both males just walk by her apartment. Neither of them stopped or did anything suspicious. The female just wants a report on file just in case something happens. She was advised to call the police back if those males are observed on her camera again.

The complainant states he is attempting to close the bar and there is a group of five people that won’t leave the property. He states that when he asked them to leave, they all got in his face and argued with him. He said they are all in the parking lot and are highly intoxicated. The group left before police arrived.

Officers spoke with the caller and his daughter. The complainant stated that he allowed his daughter, who is a known drug user, to stay a couple of nights with him at his residence. He told her she could not stay any longer. Last night he woke up and observed a needle sticking out of his daughter’s arm. A manager of the business was also aware of the situation and was present in the hallway and advised the female of the policy regarding people living/sleeping at Woodside. Their policy states no one can stay more than two nights and are considered trespassing after that. The management agreed to assist the female and allowed her to use the public phone. She was advised to have all of her belongings out of the property by 1200 hours today, or the police will have to escort her out.

Store management stated the juveniles were bothering customers and begging people for money. The manager stated this is an ongoing problem and no matter how many times he tells the kids to leave, they keep coming back. Officers spoke with juveniles who stated they were trying to make money by delivering groceries to customers’ cars. They were advised they were not allowed to return, or they will be charged with trespassing.

The caller is at work in Solon, and her boyfriend’s brother sent her a picture of himself breaking into her apartment. They have a dispute over $50, and that’s why he broke in. The caller doesn’t know if he’s still there or not. The door was open and there is a window on the ground floor that was not secure. The officers responded and found the door to the apartment was open. The door did not appear to have been forced open. Officers cleared the interior of the apartment. A bedroom window was observed open. Officers secured the window and closed the door. The complainant was advised to respond to the station if something is missing.

The officers located the male walking from the front of the apartment complex. The male was EWW out of Garfield Heights for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The officers confiscated marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia from the listed male. It was entered into evidence and is to be destroyed.

The caller reported two separate vehicles, at two different times, pulled all the way up to the house and sat in the drive for 10 minutes and then left. They have Ring camera footage of each event. This did not just happen, but they would like officers to respond to review the footage and advise. The officers made contact with the caller. She was able to provide a photo of one of the vehicles that had backed into her driveway all the way up to the garage. She advised the other vehicle also backed in all the way up to the garage. No one got out of either vehicle but both stayed for approximately 10 minutes prior to leaving. She was advised to contact the police if it happens again while the vehicle is there.

Officers were flagged down by a store employee who states a female, who was shoplifting previously, is now back, and she was observed placing items in a purse. Officers spoke with the juvenile who exited the store past all points of sale. In the juvenile’s purse was located several beauty products. The items were returned to the store, and the grandfather of the juvenile arrived on the scene driving the same vehicle from the last shoplifting incident on 8-31-23. The juvenile was released to the grandfather and trespassed from the property.

The caller states she owns the above business and the barber shop next to her has the lights on and the door open and she does not see anyone inside. Officers went to the address and requested the keyholders be called. Officers attempted to call the owner but there was no answer, and there was no voicemail setup to leave a message. Officers attempted to call the keyholder and spoke with the phone owner and was advised that was not her number. The door was not able to be secured. The building checked out OK. A basement to the rear of the building was also checked and left open. It also checked OK.

The complainant was in the station lobby. She stated that her father contacted her on 8-29-23 and told her the next time he sees her he’s going to choke her. She stated that her father is angry over an incident at a family gathering where he claims he was scratched by her ring during a family altercation. She stated that today she went down to Domestic Relations Court to obtain a protection order against him only to learn that he already obtained one against her. She was advised not to contact him or respond to any of his attempts to contact her. She was also advised to call the police if he should show up at her residence.

Prior to calling the police, the complainant called the shop because she had not received an item she purchased several days ago. That is when she learned on 08-29-23 at 1747 hours, Fedex dropped the package off at the complainant’s door inside the hallway. The item has a $188 worth. There are no suspects and no cameras in the interior of the apartment building.

An officer spoke with the complainant who requested advice on the situation involving her son. She stated the two of them were involved in an argument on August 29. Her son chest-bumped her, almost knocking her to the ground. He then stated he was going to kill her in her sleep and cut her arms and legs off. The complainant told the male to leave, and he hasn’t returned since. The complainant was advised on filing charges against her son, evicting him and getting a protection order. The complainant did not elect to pursue charges at this time. Information is on file.

An officer spoke with the complainant who advised the owner of Tomato Company, his boss, made threats. The complainant advised he wants a protection order and charges for menacing. An officer spoke with the owner who advised there was a verbal altercation, and the complainant quit before he was terminated. The complaint advised he had some recipes and $5 to return to the owner that the officer returned for him. Both parties were given witness statements to return.

The complainant stated that on 8-25-23, her daughter called her at work and told her that she had been in a fight at the school. The complainant stated that she left work and responded to the school to pick her daughter up. The complainant was advised that her daughter would be suspended for 10 days for the incident. Upon leaving the school, the complainant stated that she received multiple videos of the incident sent to her cell phone. The complainant stated that since the suspension, her daughter has been getting harassing messages sent to her cell phone saying that they are coming to their house tonight to fight. The complainant advised that they live in Warrensville Height. An officer advised that they will have to file the harassment report there since they received the texts from there. The complainant was provided with the original incident number for the fight. A statement form was completed. Information was forwarded to their police department.

Officers responded to the residence for a report of a fight in progress between a male and female. Upon arrival, an officer observed three females standing in the front yard of the residence, and they all advised the male on scene was causing a disturbance due to his intoxicated state. The officer made contact with the male subject who was found to be heavily intoxicated. The male advised that his wife and the other two adult females on scene attacked him causing injury to his face. The male declined to be seen by EMS and also advised numerous times that he did not wish to pursue any criminal charges against the females. The male was uneasy on his feet and had to be ordered numerous times to separate from the females and to allow officers to interview the other involved parties. The male also urinated on the side of his house while officers were present. Officers spoke with the females involved, who advised they did not assault the male, and that he must have fallen due to his intoxicated state. The male’s wife did advise that she pushed the male off of her due to him attempting to hug her while apologizing for the altercation. None of the three adult females involved had any physical marks to their hands or any signs of being involved in a physical altercation. An officer also spoke with an independent witness — the daughter/niece of the parties involved — who advised she never witnessed any physical altercation. An officer also attempted to contact the person reporting who advised he did not wish to speak with officers regarding what he observed. The wife was advised of her options and how to obtain a civil protection order, if she wishes. All females involved stated the male did not assault them nor threaten them. The male was unable to provide a clear statement due to his intoxication, and he was given a courtesy ride to his mother’s residence in Bedford Heights to keep the peace. The officer attempted to give the male a witness statement to complete but he refused. All parties involved were advised to contact the police if the issues continue.

Two have been missing since 4-8-23 Another has been missing since 6-1-23. After running the fourth plate on Flock, it appears the plate is not missing/stolen. The caller was advised and will recheck for this plate and contact the police back. An employee called to report they located the fourth plate. The fourth plate was cleared from leads. Another employee wanted to add a fifth plate to the missing.

Nothing physical occurred. The female said she would give the male a ride elsewhere for the evening.

He did gain entrance into a work van that was parked in front of a Willard House but left the van and left the scene. The owner of the van then got in the van and left also. An officer contacted the foster mother. The juvenile was turned over to his foster mom.

A 30-year-old year old male took 30 sleep aid pills 10 minutes ago. He is conscious, alert and breathing. His mother advised he has been acting weird the last couple of days and then told her he took those pills. The male is being transported. The male was transported by Bedford EMS without incident. There were no signs of drug abuse observed.

The Realtor is on the scene. The lights are on and the back handle of a door is broken off. The house was being worked on. It appears to have been broken into. No vehicles are on the scene. No one had been inside the home yet. A contractor did have tools inside, and they are concerned they may have been stolen. Officers checked the home and nothing was disturbed or missing. It appears a person(s) unknown broke the lock box off of the door handle and never gained entry. The caller was advised to contact the police should anything turn up missing.

The complainant stated that $8,000 worth of shoes and clothing were stolen from his storage unit. The complainant stated that he was last at his unit on 8-26-23 at approximately 1100 hours. On 9-4-23 the complainant contacted U-Haul and informed them that he had lost the key to his lock on his storage unit and requested that they cut the lock off. The complainant told them to notify him as to when they would be able to do so. The complainant stated that he never received a notification from U-Haul. On 9-7-23, at approximately 1600 hours, the complainant went to his unit and discovered his property missing. A manager of U-Haul stated that she has forwarded the information to her manager to review any security video. U-Haul will contact the station should they locate any information which may help to discover who removed the property.

A black SUV was flying down the street and hit another vehicle. The caller is hard to understand and is refusing an ambulance. The vehicle went north on Broadway. The caller is in a Highlander. A female advised the vehicle was going south on Broadway. A squad was requested for a female with head pain.

The complainant stated that she received a text message this morning that stated, “I am watching you.” The complainant stated that she exchanged pictures with a male customer of her’s last week, whom she thought was single. Shortly after that, the complainant received a call from the male’s phone number with a female telling her that the male is married and to leave him alone. The complainant stated that she blocked the male’s number and has not had contact with him since. An officers attempted to call the male’s number, but a message said that the subscriber is not available. A message was left with the male’s sister in an attempt to get a good phone number for the male. The complainant was told to block any numbers, and should she get a good phone number for the male, then she should call the department.

Officers spoke with the complainant on the scene, who states that after a Bedford High School football game, a security guard walked up to his vehicle and said, “I’ll put a hole in your brain.” Upon police speaking with the security guard, he stated that he and the complainant had issues since a previous football game at the high school. The security guard stated that during today’s game he noticed the complainant staring at him and pointing at him throughout the game. When the game was over, he advised that the complainant drove over to him and asked, “Hey man you got beef with me?” while posturing his hand between his legs on his car seat as if he had a weapon. The complainant denied driving up to the security guard, stating it could all be seen on school cameras and would like the incident documented.

The caller said someone hit her car while she was sleeping. The car was completely backed in the carport. The second car struck the front of the first car and left the scene without providing any information. An officer checked the area for possible cameras. A Ring camera was observed. He spoke to a resident in that building who did not observe the incident. No other cameras were observed. The complainant stated that she parked the vehicle at approximately 1030 hours and found the damage at the time of the call. Photos were taken of the damage. There was no damage to the carport.

Officers responded to Walgreens for a report of a shoplifting in progress. The complainant advised the male had been previously trespassed from the location. The police located and identified the listed juvenile walking away from the business. It was determined two items had been stolen, which were recovered and returned. The juvenile was again told not to return to the store. He was taken home and dropped off with a responsible party after notifying his mother.

The listed male was interviewed and advised that nothing physical occurred, and that the complainant was intoxicated. They were advised to stay away from each other. The complainant was advised to come to the station to complete a written statement if she wished to pursue charges.

An officer spoke to the above complainant who stated that he had items stolen from his storage unit at on Broadway Ave. The complainant stated that the storage unit cut off his lock, and replaced it with one of theirs and now his belongings are missing. An officer spoke to an associate manager at the storage unit who stated that his lock was cut off due to him leaving his dog in the unit on a hot day. He was advised of the hours of the storage unit, and he was told to have all his belongings back in his unit by 1730 hours when they closed. The manager advised that he still had many belongings sitting outside of his storage unit when he again advised him it was time to close up. The complainant left with some belongings still sitting outside the locked storage unit, and when he arrived the next day, the items that were left out were no longer there. The listed female stated that on 08-29-2023 she interviewed over messaging with a “Venn Therapeutics” company. She was led to believe that she was hired and they needed a blank check for her direct deposit. The female then stated the company started taking money out explaining it was for equipment and training. The next day her account was emptied. She made a report with the bank fraud department and needed a police report. The report number was given to her for her records.

Officers spoke with the complainant in the lobby who states that on 9-17-23 at 1730 hours, while at Circle K, his ex-wife’s current husband threatened him. The complainant states that while exchanging custody of his son to his ex-wife, the ex-wife’s current husband got out of the ex-wife’s vehicle and approached him. The complainant advised that the male approached him angrily and threatened to “beat his ass for getting loud” while pounding his fist and forcing his way into the complainant’s personal area. The complainant requests the incident be documented for the time being as he feels the male is trying to intimidate him and does not know what the male is capable of. The complainant was advised on the option of getting a protection order through the county.

The complainant needed a police report in order to be refunded the money through the company. A report number was given for the complainant’s records.

Officers responded to the address for a report of an overdose. Officers pulled into the parking lot behind the squad. The male was lying in the parking lot next to the work truck where CPR was being performed by other listed parties. The squad immediately put the patient on the cot and loaded him into the back of the ambulance. A search of the male’s bookbag and vehicle did not lead to any illegal substances or paraphernalia. It is unknown if male has any medical conditions. The squad transported the male to the hospital.

The caller says she was just threatened by another resident in the building lobby. The two have an ongoing feud, and today the other resident threatened to cut the caller’s throat. Nothing physical, but the caller wants to make a report to document the incident. The caller stated, when she was bringing in her groceries in the entrance of the apartment building, the other resident got in her face and began asking her why she was talking behind her back. When the complainant told her she did not know what she was talking about, the other resident became belligerent and verbally abusive. She added the other resident, at some point, threatened to slit her throat and gut her. The complainant only wanted the matter documented, and for the other resident not to have any type of contact with her.

A second call came in from the male half. The female entered the apartment and became aggressive. The male stated he locked her out so she smashed the front window. She was out front upon the officer’s arrival. She was bleeding from her hand and was checked and released by the squad.
