After much thought, I have decided not to run for re-election in the upcoming election. I shared this news at my recent Ward 3 meeting, and while it was a difficult decision, I feel it’s time to spend more time with my family—and maybe play a little more golf.
I’ve been proud to call Bedford home for over 60 years, all of them in Ward 3. Over the years, I’ve seen many friends come and go, and I’ve been honored to serve this community for the past eight years as your councilman.
As I prepare to step down at the end of this year, I’m pleased to share that I have endorsed Angela Palmentera as a candidate for Ward 3. Angela has lived in Bedford for most of her life, and I believe she will be a strong advocate for our ward. I look forward to introducing her to more of you in the months ahead.
Thank you to the residents of Ward 3 for the privilege of serving you. It’s been one of the greatest honors of my life. Bedford will always be in my heart.
