BEDFORD, Ohio — As reported by Fox 8 News, Bedford nursing student is celebrating a life-changing Valentine’s Day after winning the $130,000 Rolling Cash 5 jackpot, according to the Ohio Lottery.

Lottery officials reported that the woman had been napping after work when she unexpectedly fell out of bed. Instead of going back to sleep, she decided to run an errand a day earlier than planned and visited the Walmart Supercenter on Market Place Drive in Bainbridge.

While there, she used a dollar she had previously won from another ticket to purchase a Rolling Cash 5 entry. The ticket was bought just minutes before the cutoff for the Valentine’s Day evening drawing. The numbers matched all five drawn in the game, securing the jackpot.

After required state and federal taxes, the winner will take home more than $95,000. She plans to use the money to pay off debt and purchase a new vehicle. The timing is especially meaningful, as the prize will allow her to reduce work hours and concentrate on completing nursing school.

Rolling Cash 5 drawings are held daily as part of the Ohio Lottery’s lineup of games.
