This year marks 50 years of meal delivery to our neighbors in the 44146 zip code. The Southeast Clergy Meals on Wheels program began in March of 1976 when area faith leaders saw a need for providing hot, delicious meals to seniors in our community. That tradition continues as our 50+ volunteers deliver to 70 people in the Bedford, Bedford Hts., Oakwood, and Walton Hills communities. Service is provided Monday through Friday, with a bonus meal delivered on Friday.

In addition to providing meals daily, our volunteers deliver pet food and supplies to our senior partners. The value of pet companionship for seniors is priceless, but the care is not. It is a great opportunity to support the people we serve. Each month, our program offers non-perishable food items to support people in their homes.

The Southeast Clergy Meals on Wheels program is housed in South Haven United Church of Christ, located on Northfield Road. This is a community based program where volunteers grow to feel like family as they provide a valuable service to our neighbors. Volunteers are always welcome to join the team. We need you! Whether as a kitchen worker, driver or hopper, or care support, the hour a week commitment will be time well spent. Meals on Wheels is completely funded through generous donations.
