The Bedford Historical Society is inviting families to celebrate the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss at a special birthday event on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The festivities will take place in the Old Church on the Square’s Community Room at 750 Broadway Avenue, Bedford, OH.

This free, family-friendly event is designed for children of all ages—whether they are infants, school-aged, or even young at heart at 100! Guests will enjoy readings of classic Dr. Seuss books, bringing the beloved author’s timeless stories to life. In addition, kids can take part in craft activities, games, and interactive fun inspired by Seuss’s imaginative tales.

No birthday party is complete without treats, and attendees can snack on hot dogs, chips, cupcakes, green punch, and more. While admission is free, donations are welcome to support the Bedford Historical Society’s continued community programming.

Whether you love the Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, or Horton Hears a Who, this event is a great way to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s legacy with fun and laughter.
