Tax season can be stressful, but Bedford residents can take advantage of free tax preparation through the Cuyahoga EITC Coalition. On Tuesday, March 18, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, IRS-certified tax professionals will be at Ellenwood Center to assist eligible individuals with filing their state and federal tax returns—at no cost!
To qualify, residents must:

✔ Earn less than $67,000 per year
✔ Not have rental income
✔ Not file business loss or paid employee taxes
Participants must bring necessary documents, including photo ID, Social Security cards (or ITINs), all tax-related documents, last year’s tax return (if available), and bank account details for direct deposit. Additional documents may be required, such as childcare expenses, retirement contributions, mortgage statements, student loan records, and medical bills.
Failure to bring all required documents may delay processing or result in a forfeited appointment.
