BEDFORD, OH — As reported by Cleveland 19 news, a parent was cited for disorderly conduct after an incident at Carylwood Intermediate School in Bedford on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, the situation unfolded after 2 p.m. when the parent, a mother of a student, called dispatch to report a security guard’s actions. She claimed the guard physically removed her from the building.
When officers arrived, they spoke with the security guard, who stated that the mother became upset after being asked to return to the school’s waiting area. After being escorted outside, the parent reportedly kicked and shattered a glass door.
Authorities issued the mother a citation for disorderly conduct. No injuries were reported in the incident.
