BEDFORD, OH — As reported by WKYC Studios, two people remain in critical condition after a shooting Monday morning in Bedford, according to fire officials.
The incident occurred around 10:35 a.m. at a home in the 800 block of Washington Street. Bedford police said officers arrived to find a man and a woman with gunshot wounds. Officers provided first aid at the scene until EMS arrived.
Both victims were transported to MetroHealth Medical Center, where they remain in critical condition.
Police reported that the suspect fled the area but was later detained on Broadway Avenue outside a business. The individual was taken to South Pointe Hospital with serious injuries.
No additional information has been released as the investigation continues.
