Spring is in the air, and that means baseball season is just around the corner! The City of Bedford Parks & Recreation Department is gearing up for another season of Bearcat Youth Baseball, open to boys and girls ages 5–15.

Games are scheduled to begin in June, weather permitting, and will take place on weeknights and/or Saturdays. All participants will receive a game shirt and hat as part of their registration. The program’s structure will be determined by the number of participants in each age group. If there aren’t enough players to form multiple teams in a specific age group, the program will shift to a camp/clinic-style format with professional instruction from Rookie Sports Club, LLC.

This recreational league emphasizes fun, teamwork, and skill development in a supportive environment. Whether your child is picking up a bat for the first time or already has a few seasons under their belt, Bearcat Youth Baseball is a great opportunity to stay active and make new friends.

Registration is open now, but the deadline is quickly approaching—all registrations must be completed by Thursday, April 4.

Fee:

  • $55 for Bedford residents
  • $65 for non-residents

Don’t wait until the last minute! Secure your child’s spot today and get ready for a fun-filled season of baseball. For more information or to register, visit the Bedford Parks & Recreation Department’s website or contact their office directly.
