Toyota of Bedford recently donated $5,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, which was matched through Toyota’s Dealer Match Program for a total donation of $10,000. Toyota’s Dealer Match program supports dealers within their local communities by matching their contributions to selected charities.
“Toyota’s Dealer Match program believes every child’s dream can come true,” said Shane Sizemore, general manager for the Cincinnati regional office, Toyota Motor North America. “We are thrilled and honored to be able to help Make-A-Wish grant wishes for children in our community.”
The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wish of children diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions. The wishes granted by Make-A-Wish impact everyone involved –- wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities. Since 1983, Make-A-Wish supporters have granted 16,000 wishes to children with critical illnesses in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
To date, Toyota has invested more than $982 million in the U.S. via charitable donations, guided by a commitment to serve the communities where it does business. For more information visit www.toyota.com/usa/community.
