He was advised not to return to the residence and to contact police when he needed to retrieve his belongings.

A woman initially reported that a man had threatened her with a gun. When officers spoke with her, she said she and her ex had been involved in a verbal argument and a struggle over a firearm. She told police that no threats were made and the incident did not otherwise become physical, but a window was broken by the man. Police observed no visible injuries on the woman. She said she would leave the residence, which belonged to her sister.

Disposition: Juveniles barred from pool for remainder of season
Police were called to the Bedford Municipal Pool regarding threats among patrons, including a reported threat that family members would come to the pool and kill others. Officers spoke with the juveniles involved and determined that three juveniles had been threatening one another as part of an ongoing issue. The pool director requested documentation and planned to deny them entry. On June 18, letters were sent advising the involved juveniles that they were prohibited from entering the Bedford Municipal Pool for the remainder of the summer swim season and could face trespassing charges if they returned.

A store employee reported that two males entered the business and were being unruly. One left while the other allegedly reached behind the counter, took three packs of rolling papers and left without paying. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the males.

A restaurant manager reported approximately 30 to 40 juveniles inside the business who were causing a disturbance, occupying seating and refusing to leave. The juveniles left before officers arrived. Police checked the parking lot, and the business was advised to call if they returned.

Disposition: Officers alerted to possible group with weapons
A 14-year-old reported that a group of juveniles at the Strawberry Festival was allegedly trying to fight him. He told officers that members of the group were carrying weapons and were under 18. An officer drove with the juvenile through the area, and the juvenile pointed out a large group he said was involved. Other officers at the festival were advised to watch for the group and the possibility that members could be carrying weapons.

Police received a call reporting numerous people screaming and yelling near a tire shop. Approximately 50 juveniles were reportedly present, but no physical fighting or weapons were observed. Police learned that the gathering was connected to a family mourning the loss of a relative and were told that it would be ending shortly.

An employee reported that an intoxicated man refused to leave a business and had threatened employees. No weapons were reported. The man left on foot before officers arrived. Police searched the area but were unable to locate him. Employees were advised to call if he returned.

A manager reported approximately 30 to 40 juveniles inside and outside a store and said the business had experienced ongoing problems with theft when large groups arrived. Police spoke with employees, who said the juveniles were not doing anything out of the ordinary at that time and that the primary issue was the size of the gathering. The group was advised to leave, and most departed southbound on Northfield Road. Officers checked other common gathering locations but found no additional large groups.

A woman reported that during an argument several days earlier, her husband pointed a fork toward her neck and threatened to shove it into her. Her husband was reportedly out of town at the time of the report, and she said she did not want him to return to the residence. Police advised her to call when he returned and provided information about seeking a protection order and beginning the eviction process.

An employee reported that a man who was believed to have previously been trespassed from the store was inside the business. Police could not locate a record of a prior trespass notice, so the man was verbally advised that he was prohibited from returning. Officers also confirmed outstanding warrants. The man was arrested and turned over to another police agency without incident.

A business reported an attempted theft involving a UTV. Surveillance video showed three juveniles on the property shortly after midnight on June 5. They allegedly entered a vehicle and attempted to steal it before leaving and later returning with another male. The group was able to move the UTV to the exit of the property, where it stalled, and they abandoned it. The complainant said one of the juveniles appeared to be the same person involved in a separate June 13 theft at the business. Police advised the business to call if the juveniles returned.

Library staff requested police assistance removing a man who had reportedly made unsettling statements toward employees several days earlier and returned to the library. Staff planned to ban him for 30 days. The man left without incident and was advised by police that he was trespassed from the property.
