Caller advised she and her 18-year-old daughter were assaulted. No one needs EMS. The suspects also stole the caller’s daughter’s handbag. The caller is in a car in front of the home. Hazards are on. No weapons were seen. The incident actually took place in Maple Heights. The complainants were advised to respond to their station for the report. Officers were flagged down by the female complainant who advised the incident took place in Maple Heights. The female did have a cut to her face. The female stated that no incident occurred at the listed address but that the other parties involved do reside there.

Broadway Avenue (Circle K)
An officer spoke with a male complainant in the lobby regarding a lost wallet, and his credit card being used fraudulently after the loss. The male advised on 12/31/2022 between 1500-1600 hours he lost his wallet while at Circle K gas station. The male stated he possibly left the wallet inside the store while making a purchase. The male then advised he received alerts from his credit card company advising him that at 1545 hours at Fuel Mart (7225 Northfield Road) his credit card was attempted to be used, and a $1.00 hold was placed on his account. The male then advised at 1625 hours he received another alert advising him that his credit card was again being used fraudulently at Lowes in Stow for $294.69 which was declined. All credit/debit cards have since been canceled due to the incident. The contents of the wallet included $750.00 cash, among other personal cards. The officer made contact with Fuel Mart to review surveillance footage but no footage of evidentiary value was recovered. The officer then spoke with Lowe’s loss prevention officer, who advised he did have footage of the credit card being used. The officer advised that the male was attempting to purchase painting materials for $294.69 but the card was declined. The officer described what the male was wearing and his vehicle. The officer stated he was unable to view the male’s face or license plate of the described vehicle. At this time, the male complainant advised he was not charged financially by the credit card companies and has suffered no financial loss from the incident other than the $750 in cash. The male complainant did advise he would like to pursue criminal charges for theft if able.

The complainant stated that on 01/02/22, at 1300 hours, his ex-girlfriend came to his apartment and damaged a screen and flattened the tire on his Chrysler. The male did not wish for the female to be contacted. He was given information regarding obtaining a civil protection order.

An officer spoke with a female complainant in the lobby regarding her lost/stolen license plate. The female advised between 12/30/2022 – 01/02/2023 her vehicle’s license plate was replaced by an unknown person(s) plate and the license plate that was put on her vehicle was reported stolen. It is undetermined where the incident may have occurred. The complainant completed a stolen/lost license plate addendum.

Charles Street
Someone threw eggs all over the complainant’s truck and he wants to make a report. Officers responded for damage to property and spoke with the male who advised that a certain female threw eggs at his vehicle. There was no visible damage to the vehicle however. There were eggs on and around the vehicle. The female advised she did not throw them, and that a bird dropped them on the vehicle. The female was EWW out of the department for FTA. She was placed under arrest and transported to Solon Jail with no incident.

An employee states they are closing up, and there is a female at the front door stating someone just stole her 2012 Chevy Cruz. She went inside to pay for gas, left the key in the car, and someone took off in it in an unknown direction. The female states that her vehicle was stolen up the street at the Sunoco on Rockside Road. An officer is transporting the female.

Berwyn Drive and Columbus Road
An officer responded to Broadway Avenue for a vehicle that hit the curb with the horn still beeping. Upon arrival, the officer noticed a Toyota front bumper in the roadway, along with a grill with a Toyota emblem. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle that was involved. While clearing from Boadway, another officer called out a vehicle on Columbus Road near Lincoln Boulevard with heavy front-end damage that matched the description of the bumper found on Broadway. Officers spoke to the driver who stated she was traveling northbound on Broadway when an unknown vehicle with no headlights tried to pass her. The female then stated that the vehicle close to her moved over causing her to hit the curb near the crosswalk on Broadway. The female driver stated that she lived nearby, so she tried to just drive her vehicle home, but the vehicle stalled. The female provided valid insurance on the vehicle and the vehicle was towed.

The complainant came to the lobby to report her daughter’s AirPods were stolen or lost at school today. Information was turned over to the school resource officer. An officer reviewed the school cameras. The daughter was observed leaving her AirPods in the school auditorium. Shortly after, a security guard picked up the AirPods and left the school with them. The security guard returned to the school and admitted to having the AirPods.

The caller witnessed a domestic dispute. A male pushed a female. She is now running from him towards Center Road. The mother is running with a small boy. The male was trying to take the child from the female. The female refused to provide information. She advised she was OK and would contact her father.

The caller is in the lobby for threats made towards her at the tattoo shop. The complainant stated she had tattoo work done and was not happy with the work. She stated that the artist and the owner were rude to her and cussed her out. She was advised it was a civil matter.

The caller states her 16-year-old daughter is destroying her house. She slammed the TV down, ripped down the curtains and threw all the plants on the floor. The caller is not on the scene but is going to be home in about 5 minutes. Her other 20-year-old daughter is the one that called and told her this. She is on the scene. Officers spoke to the mother/caller who explained her younger daughter was acting out and knocked over a couple items in the home, including a TV. The mother was advised on how to file for an unruly juvenile and was advised on how to contact the juvenile diversion officer for further resources.

The caller is in the lobby to talk about her teenager who is causing problems. The mother stated that her son’s grades have been dropping and he’s increasingly becoming disrespectful. She doesn’t like his current attitude and is worried about his future. The son claims that there is constant negativity from his mother, and he is very frustrated with her parenting and takes issue with her opposition to him having a girlfriend. The grandparents also showed up on scene as issues were being discussed. All parties were advised to attempt to have civil conversations about their grievances. The son was instructed to speak to counselors at school and to work on improving his grades. He was also reminded that he is a juvenile and needs to follow house rules. Everyone was advised to take an introspective look at their situation which might do some good.

The caller is in a car and says her son ate all of her Sunday chicken and forced her car up onto a curb because he was switching the gears while she was driving. The son is 15 years old. The caller also says her son assaulted her in order to take away her phone and keys. The son can be heard yelling the opposite of everything the caller says in the background. An officer is out with the individuals. The mother was instructed to file unruly charges and to take him home.

Officers spoke to parties on the scene. The caller states that a repo driver on the scene showed and threatened him with a gun. The caller, who was highly agitated, did not advise officers on what threats were made or directed towards him. The repo man and all other parties on scene state that the caller exited his home upset due to a vehicle being removed near the window of his unit and confronted the tow drivers. The caller is not the owner of the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle was on the scene and was aware of the tow. They were assisting the tow drivers at removing property from the vehicle. The repo worker advised officers that he does have a weapon, but never threatened or even removed the weapon from his waistband. The caller advised he would like to pursue charges, He was advised that the situation was documented and there would be no further police action.

The complainant arrived home around 2000 hours. Shortly after, she took her garbage out and noticed both rear tires to her vehicle were deflated. The complainant is unsure who slashed her tires. She wanted this incident to be documented.

Officers on the scene spoke with the complainant who is an employee for Rivendale. She states that she was struck in the face by a patient. The complainant states that the patient was apparently upset due to the complainant not moving out of the way fast enough while taking the temperature of another patient. The patient struck the complainant in the right side of her face with a closed fist knocking the complainants glasses off. The complainant does not wish to pursue charges, but wants the incident documented.

Someone came into the parking lot and was hitting the cars. The suspect is at the end of the parking lot, and the vehicle is disabled. The suspect hit the caller’s vehicle with their own vehicle. A witness can see a male and a female fighting. They are holding the female down at the end of the parking lot. Officers are transporting the female to the RTA center in Maple Heights.

A male reported the theft of a sewer snake off the back of his truck. The complainant stated sometime between 0730 hours and 0800 hours, unknown person(s) stole a sewer line snake from the back of his truck. The complainant stated he rented the snake from Home Depot but does not know the make or model. Home Depot requested a police report for the theft. An officer checked with Deli-4-Less and Family Dollar for camera footage. Neither businesses have cameras pointed where the truck was parked.

A caller heard a noise outside of his apartment. He looked outside and saw that his girlfriend’s car was lifted on a jack. The caller advised he observed two unknown males attempting to steal the converter off of their vehicle. The caller stated he went to confront them and they fled. The caller thinks the suspects shot a round off in the air before fleeing the area. They left in a newer model red SUV. The converter was not taken, but only damaged from the suspects attempting to cut it off.

A female came on station to get the male out of the apartment. The female claims she is going to a treatment center in 3 weeks to get her life together and does not want the male at the apartment. She said he came through the window today because he did not have a key and she locked him out. Officers made contact with the male and advised him to leave. He eventually gathered his things and left.

Officers spoke with the complainant on scene who states that at approximately 0700 hours he saw a shadow near his window and believes someone may have tried to make entry. Upon inspection of the window, officers did not see any signs of tampering or damage. The complainant would just like this documented for the time being and special attention paid to the area due to a high traffic of suspicious males in the area lately.

A male, whom the caller “used to deal with” was causing a disturbance and trying to take the caller’s things. The male just left on foot, walking towards Meadowgate. The female caller locked the door after the male left. The complainant stated that the male wanted to talk about issues, but she did not want to talk. The two got into an argument, but the male ended up leaving after he knocked the phone out of the complainant’s hand. A phone message was left for the male. He returned the call and stated that he just wanted his property back. He stated he will not return to the property and will try to contact the complainant in a few days when emotions are calmed down.
