Bedford City Manager Mike Mallis stated at the Jan. 17 City Council meeting that renovation at the Municipal Pool house started earlier this month.
“They are moving along very quickly,” he told the council. “A lot of the demolition (inside) has taken place.
He said that they will be working on the underground plumbing and the electrical as well.
“The goal is that the project will be completed in time for the pool season this summer,” he said.
He advised that he will be giving the council frequent updates from the weekly progress meetings that are being held concerning the renovations.
He said a majority of the project has been funded through grants and from the American Rescue Plan Allocations.
