Female came into the lobby to make a fraud report. She explained she received a check in the mail from Albuquerque schools for $3,7000. The check ended up being a false check, resulting in the female to be fined $150 from Citizen’s Bank due to insufficient funds. Female explained she cashed the check because she does work with schools, but did state she never worked in Albuquerque.

Westview RoadCaller’s boyfriend just punched her in the face. This started over her going through the male’s phone. Male is still on the scene, and he lives there. No medic needed. No weapons involved. They are separated at this time. Male is upstairs, and no one else is in the home. Male left prior to arrival of officers. No visible injuries could be seen by officers. Female was told to stop in to the station if she wants to pursue the matter.

Male sent some pictures to three women and now they are blackmailing him. Male is in the police lobby. Officer spoke with the complainant and advised him he was the victim of a common internet scam. He was advised to end all forms of communication, block the phone numbers they are contacting him with, and block any types of social media platforms they may have access to.

Caller says her mother is trying to kick her out of the house and is throwing her things outside. Caller says her mother has been touching her face and making threatening gestures. No weapons, drugs or alcohol involved. Caller will be waiting outside for police. Officers spoke with the caller and her mother. Both parties advised the argument was only verbal and the caller agreed to leave the residence to keep the peace.

Officer spoke to the complainant who stated his plate from his trailer was taken. The trailer was sitting outside of the Slate Run Apartments. A stolen plate addendum was signed and the plate was entered into leads.

Caller said her neighbor called her and told her that there was a gray car parked in front of the house and looked like someone was trying to get into the house. The door is broken off the hinges. No one should be there. Caller is at work and her son should be at work. Officers checked the residence and found nothing to be missing. Caller said her son does not drive. Neighbors called her at 10:30 a.m. to tell her this. Caller’s son should be at work and doesn’t drive a car. Caller and her son are the only ones who reside there.

Caller reported to officers who were investigating a burglary at her residence that on Monday several packages were taken from her residence. Female stated that she had the following items delivered to her residence: A fireplace, a T.V. and a Chromebook. The female will be gathering serial numbers on the items from Walmart and provide them to officers. The female is filing a claim with Walmart and will be working with the company to replace the items.

Officer spoke with the complainant who states a male attempted to make a purchase with a fraudulent $20 bill. The complainant described the male in his 20s. The male left the scene after being refused service.

Center Road (Bedford High School)
Officers were working the Bedford-Warrensville Heights basketball game. When the game ended, a large fight broke out in the gym. Additional fights started in the hallway and parking lots. The fights included around 300 people. Five males were all taken into custody. Two of the males were transported to the Solon Jail and were being held there. All the males were to be charged with aggravated rioting. Probable cause forms were sent to the court. Warrants were sent to the Solon Jail via fax.

Caller is a 16-year-old female and states that her 40-year-old uncle keeps hitting her. She states that her uncle tackled her, but she doesn’t need EMS. Female states that her uncle keeps following her around the house and that he has been drinking today. Officers spoke to the mother who stated the daughter had a guy in the house when she wasn’t home. Mother states the uncle came home and walked in on the daughter and the unknown male and the uncle started to scold the daughter. The daughter then got upset and called 911 because the uncle was trying to discipline her. The uncle was found to be EWW with the U.S. Marshals and returned to the jail. Officials spoke to the mother who advised that everything is OK at the house.

Officers responded to Lounge 228 for a report of damage to property. Officers met with numerous vehicle owners who stated their vehicle windows had been broken and some items were stolen.

Officers spoke with a complainant who states that a male who is a third-party detailer at a dealership threatened to shoot him. Complainant states he made a deal with the male to which the male did not fulfill his part of the bargain, but the male wanted money anyway. The complainant did not want to press charges and did not want officers to speak with the male. The manager on scene stated that after the shift, the detailer will be banned from the property.

A female is in the lobby and is advising there was a woman in the lot of the fire station. The female said the woman did not have on any shoes and asked the female to call 911. The shoeless woman did not tell the female what was wrong, but she told officers she was involved in a domestic on Mckinley. She’s in the lobby, and units are en route to Mckinley. One male is under arrest for domestic violence.

Officer spoke with a female in the police lobby for a report of a theft. The female stated that her ex-boyfriend took their dog from the clinic. Her ex-boyfriend told her that he would return the dog later. The female attempted to contact him, but she observed that he blocked her phone number. The female was advised that it was a civil issue.

Two females and one male are causing a disturbance, yelling and demanding their money. Officers spoke with the two females who stated they were given the wrong food order and the employee would not give them a refund. The two females agreed to leave to keep the peace.

Rockside Road (Enterprise Rent-A-Car)
Officer responded for a report of a found firearm. Officer spoke with an employee at Enterprise who stated that a customer returned a vehicle earlier in the day. While the employee was cleaning the returned vehicle, she observed a gun under the driver’s seat. The gun had a loaded magazine, but did not have a round in the chamber. The gun was entered into property. The firearm was ran through leads and it was not entered as stolen. The gun was returned to owner.

Caller insists that he’s not leaving the auto dealership. He returned a car because financing for it didn’t go through and says he was told they’d returned the money he already had paid. The caller returned the car, but now the business won’t give him the money they promised. He says he has no other form of transportation away from the business and would like to see an officer. A second caller, this one an employee, stated the male is in a secure finance office, no weapons, but wants money back. The employee states that no one is supposed to be in any of these offices. The original caller was advised the issue was civil and instructed him on how to file a small claims court case.

A female employee spotted a black pick-up truck with two males near the business which is now called Dakar Studios. She confronted the males about what they were doing and they told her they were there to hunt deer. Officers checked the area, and no one matching that description was in the area. Complainant states this is an ongoing issue. An officer spoke to the caller who stated there were two different sets of hunters in different cars. Complainant was advised to please call when it’s happening and/or obtain a plate for the police to investigate further.

Male and female are verbally arguing with employees at an auto dealer. Employees are locked in an office to keep them separated. Male and female were upset because the financing on their car did not go through and the dealership wanted the car back, but would not refund their $1000 down payment. Male and female were advised that this is a civil matter and given their options. Male and female were advised of trespassing.

The complainant reports that her boyfriend’s ex is banging on the door to let her in. Complainant states that this is an ongoing issue and would like female advised of trespassing. Officers located female leaving in a vehicle. A traffic stop was made and female was found to be EWW with Bedford and also did not have a valid license. Female was advised of trespassing, cited for no driver’s license, and transported to the jail.

Fight heard over the air from back lot of school. Officers asking for more cars. Maple Heights cars are en route. Bedford Heights also sending units. Headed towards the tennis court lots, people running. Officers cleared out the side by Columbus Road. One male arrested and transported to Solon jail.

Female can hear two people arguing next door. She can hear things being thrown around as well. Officers spoke to the two female residents who both stated it was a verbal argument only. One of the females involved left for the night to keep the peace.

Officers spoke to the female who stated there was a verbal altercation with her boyfriend over her going out of town with her friends. The female stated she walked in the door and her items were either packed or thrown around the house. Female states that the male left prior to officers’ arrival, but she will call back if he returns. Caller reporting a possible disturbance. Male and female can be heard arguing. Male is in his 30s that lives there. Sounds like things are being thrown against the walls.

Caller stated that approximately five minutes ago there were two males on her porch pulling on her door. Caller stated she asked who it was and the males stated they were “Mormans.” Caller stated both males were in dark clothes and skull caps. Caller would like to speak with officers. An officer checked area and was unable to locate the men. The caller was advised to call back if she saw the males.

Mobile crisis took a phone call from a woman who said she is fearful of her son and has locked herself in her bedroom. Her son is 19-years old, and he is yelling and throwing things. The son is trying to break into her bedroom as well. She says he’s been breaking out windows and threatening her. The male left home prior to police arrival. Police completed a missing persons report.

The complainant received a text message from his incarcerated nephew earlier today. He is concerned due to not having contact with him in a long time and also not knowing how the message was to be perceived. His nephew is not due to be released until 2024. He was advised to contact the Federal Bureau of Prisons and save any future texts received.

Female is a mail carrier. The resident here handed her a bank pouch containing personal information for several people. The resident said her daughter found it on her porch in Cleveland, handed it off to her, and she gave it to the mail carrier because it was the safest option she could think of. The carrier’s manager advised her to take it to the police station. The female told the mail carrier that her daughter found the bag around the Fleet/Harvard area and did not know who it belonged to. Inside the bag were a variety of debit cards and a Social Security card. Authorities were able to find the address and phone number of the person with the missing Social Security card. The contacted female stated her car was broken into approximately two weeks ago in Cleveland Heights and that the names on the other items are her children’s. She stated she would come to the police department to claim her items.

Caller states a younger female came to her home and knocked on her door and asked to come in and use her phone. The caller wouldn’t let her in. The female stated that she was having car trouble but there was no car in the area. When the caller stated that she would call the police for her, the female said “no” and left, getting back into a vehicle that was parked two houses away. Caller called back and said her daughter was just at Timko’s Tavern and saw the female using the owner’s phone. Female was picked up from Timko’s Tavern.
