CORRESPONDENCE VIA TEXT MESSAGES. THE COMPLAINANTS STATED THAT
THEY HAVE OTHER DOCUMENTS AND CORRESPONDENCE, THEY WERE
ADVISED TO BRING THEM TO THE STATION AND HOW TO SUBMIT THEM
THROUGH EMAIL. ALL ITEMS WERE COPIED AND ADDED TO THE CAD, SEE
PREVIOUS CAD #1800056210. THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY HAS GIVEN
THEM THE EVICTION NOTICE AND WILL BE FILING WITH BMC SHORTLY.
ALL THE ABOVE INFORMATION WAS TOT D.B.(vc)
4/4/18, MJS SPOKE WITH THE LANDLORD/PROPERTY OWNER OF 721B
WASHINGTON, GWEN FYFE. SHE EXPLAINED THAT BEER PROVIDED HER WITH
FALSE INFORMATION CONCERNING HER EMPLOYMENT ON THE RENTAL
APPLICATION, THEREFORE VIOLATING THE LEASE AGREEMENT. FYFE HAD
ALREADY FILED FOR EVICTION WITH THE BEDFORD MUNICIPAL COURT. AT
THIS TIME, FYFE HAS NOT SUFFERED ANY FINANCIAL LOSS. SHE STATED
THAT SHE ANTICIPATED RECEIVING FRAUDULENT PAPERWORK AND CHECKS
FROM BEER, BUT HAS NOT YET. SHE WAS ADVISED THAT THE MATTER IS CIVIL
IN NATURE AND TO CONTINUE WITH THE EVICTION PROCESS. FYFE WAS ALSO
TOLD THAT SHE SHOULD TURN OVER ANY DOCUMENTS AND/OR CHECKS
THAT SHE FEELS ARE FRAUDULENT SHOULD SHE RECEIVED ANY. A
STATEMENT FORM WAS EMAILED TO FYFE TO COMPLETE (AS OF 4/9/18, IT HAS
NOT BEEN RETURNED). (MJS)
4/5/18, MJS SPOKE WITH ASHLEY FULLER CONCERNING A DOG THAT
ALLEGEDLY BELONGS TO BEER. ANOTHER FEMALE, HOLLY, TOOK THE DOG
FROM BEER TO CARE FOR IT WHILE SHE AND HER FAMILY GOT THEIR AFFAIRS
IN ORDER. IN THE MEANTIME, HOLLY HAS COME TO BELIEVE THAT BEER MAY
NOT OWN THE DOG. THERE IS NO DOCUMENTATION OR FACTS TO SUPPORT
THAT AT THIS TIME, AND IS ONLY BASED ON WHAT IS DESCRIBED AS BEER’S
INABILITY TO PROVIDE CONSISTENT INFORMATION ABOUT THE DOG. FULLER
WAS ADVISED TO HAVE HOLLY CONTACT THE PD IF SHE HAS ANY QUESTIONS,
BUT THE RECOMMENDATION IS TO RETURN THE DOG TO BEER SINCE SHE
ACCEPTED IT FROM BEER BELIEVING THAT SHE OWNED IT AT THE TIME AND
HAS NO OTHER EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT HER CLAIM AT THIS TIME. THEY WERE
ALSO ADVISED THAT THEY COULD CONTACT THE APL IF THEY WERE
CONCERNED ABOUT THE DOG’S WELL-BEING GOING FORWARD. (MJS)
4/5/18, MJS SPOKE WITH GARY COLLIER, ONE OF THE ORIGINAL
COMPLAINANTS. HE WAS ADVISED OF WHAT WAS EXPLAINED TO FYFE AND
FULLER. (MJS)
ACCORDING TO THE COMPLAINANTS, BEER POSTED ON FACEBOOK
REQUESTING ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING HOUSING DUE TO HER FAMILY BEING
HOMELESS. THEY RECEIVED FINANCIAL DONATIONS ALLOWING THEM TO
MAKE THE DOWN PAYMENT REQUIRED BY FYFE TO RENT HER PROPERTY. IN
ADDITION TO MONEY, PEOPLE ALSO DONATED HOUSEHOLD GOODS AND
ITEMS FOR BEER’S CHILDREN. SINCE THE INITIAL REQUEST ON FACEBOOK,
THOSE INVOLVED HAVE COME TO BELIEVE THAT BEER HAS BEEN LYING IN
ORDER TO CONTINUE TO RECEIVE ASSISTANCE. THEY WERE ADVISED TO
DISCONTINUE ALL CONTACT WITH BEER AND WILLIAMS AND NOT DONATE
ANYMORE ITEMS OR MONEY. THIS CASE WAS DISCUSSED WITH PROSECUTOR
MONTELLO, AND IT WAS DECIDED THAT THE MATTER WAS CIVIL AND NO
CRIMINAL ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN. (MJS)
