Female wants to make a report that her son was assaulted at the high school. The SRO is aware of the incident and will be looking into it on Wednesday. The complainant was updated.

Male was observed attempting to sell items at Sunoco, and then the male walked over to Family Dollar and attempted at this location. When confronted, he refused to give any information. Through an address he was identified. Male was advised and sent on his way.

Location: Union Street (Education Alternatives School)
Three students made a threat to shoot up another student’s house around 9 a.m. this morning. The students are at school now. They do not have weapons. Officers arrived and everything checked OK.

Caller’s boyfriend came to the home. They had a verbal disagreement, and he took her phone and left. She is afraid he will come back to the home. He has been physical with her in the past at their home. It is unknown if he has weapons.

Male is destroying property. According to the caller, the male has unplugged her computers. Male is inside in the basement with the caller. She stated he is mad over her not dropping off his meds. No weapons involved. He has been drinking. Male is upstairs now.

Female reporting her mother just left her job in Garfield Heights saying she was going to go to her apartment and smash her windows. Complainant did advise that her mother damaged her vehicle in the lot at her job.

Caller’s child’s mother is there to drop off their kids but he is trying to leave for work. He would like an officer to come out before things escalate. Male hung up on dispatch when trying to get further information. Male is not answering upon call back. Female left prior to officers arrival.

Female who shoplifted on 4/29 is now in the store. The store made a report back then. Completing on station.

Caller believes someone may be trying to break into a car across the street in a driveway. Suspect is in a white hoodie. Car is maybe a Subaru. Suspect now running toward Paul Street. Officers found no damage to the vehicle. They will be standing by in the area.

Checking on male on a bike wearing a gray hoodie. The male was observed in the area of Broadway Avenue and Forbes Road traveling north and south on the sidewalk by Gasway, back and forth, without any apparent purpose. He claimed to be in the area “trying to tire himself out.” He was advised of the recent break-in attempt and why he was briefly detained. He was released without further incident.

Kids appear to be left in this apartment – possible special needs kids. It is unknown how many children. This is an on-going issue. Caller believes the resident (adult female) is hiding these kids. She states they are always left alone and make loud noise all day. Caller states she will speak to officers about her concerns. The apartment was monitored from a few locations and no sounds could be heard from inside. Complainant was advised to contact management if she feels people are living inside without permission.

Female with sleeveless shirt stole cigarettes from Circle K. She is wearing a hoodie around her waist. Female now walking down Union Street toward Northfield Road. Caller was behind her when she made the theft. Employee of Circle K says she’d like officers to investigate. She has the incident on video.

Male juvenile riding a motorized scooter. Caller says he’s avoiding stop signs and riding erratically. Officers checked the area. Unable to locate upon arrival.

Officer advised that he received a call at the station that someone is stealing aluminum siding from the neighbor’s house.

People taking items from shed at a vacant house. Caller knows the owner and it is not the owner. Checks OK. A family member for the homeowner was cleaning out the home.

Caller was leaving home and she noticed three cars pull into the parking lot of the beauty supply store and they were getting out. The store is closed and she thought that is was suspicious. Caller is no longer on scene. It was too dark to give descriptions. Officers out with a bunch of cars on Hemisphere Way. The cars are leaving the area with officers following.

Female thought she was texting a family member. Person texted back saying who is this? Then they said they were joking and asked the address for the complainant. (A family member was to go to complainant’s house today). Then they wrote back “I’m a child predator and you have the wrong number.” Complainant said, “God bless you” and was texted back, “You want me to kill you?”

Location: Bexley Drive (Willard House Apartments)
Caller states there are a male and female in the lobby of the apartment, and they are not leaving the property. They were asked to leave, and they said they don’t live there and are not leaving. They have a baby with them. Caller is the property manager. Officers spoke with the couple in the lobby. Female said she lives with her grandmother in the building and left the apartment because her grandmother was receiving wound care treatment to her foot. Both parties were advised they are not to be in the lobby with all of their property and baby toys strewn about. Also, female stated she is on house arrest.

Male will be standing outside waiting for officers. He believes the cashier stole $10 from him that he laid on the counter.

Caller states her car was parked on the street at the above address and someone came by and swiped her car, taking off her mirror. The side is scratched all the way down the car, and something on the bumper is torn. The caller is not sure when this occurred. The car has been moved off the roadway. The complainant states between 11:45 p.m. and the time of call, someone struck her vehicle while it was parked legally on the street. The complainant did not see anything unusual or have any further information. She only had liability insurance on the vehicle.

Caller states that there are people fighting. There are also two people by the access road. Caller can’t see how many people, but can hear a male state that he is going to beat someone up. Caller can hear someone hitting someone else. Officers arrived. Other people involved in the disturbance were sent on their way. Transporting the female back to the jail. Automobile towed.

Officer located a vehicle in the parking lot with its lights off but running. Vehicle appears to have been running all night. The vehicle was shut off and locked.

Caller advising vehicle was stolen from the driveway. The vehicle was not left running, and the keys are with the caller. The vehicle was taken sometime overnight. The vehicle is an orange Ford Edge.

Manager advising that a female just got into her vehicle without paying for merchandise. She left with approximately $56 dollars in merchandise. No information on the female or description of the car.

Officers spoke with the party building the fence. He stated a board accidentally fell, striking the vehicle, and that he would take care of any damages. There was a minor scratch on the driver’s rear quarter panel. Photos were taken and both parties were advised that the information would be on file at the police department.

Location: Broadway Avenue (Automile Inn)
Two females fighting inside the bar. Officer requesting EMS. Officer advising victim has a head wound. Another female is in custody. Transporting female to jail. Later, female that was transported to the hospital got a phone call that her truck is being vandalized at the bar. She is still in the hospital. Officer checked the vehicle. It is in the same condition as when they left.

Officer responding to Circle K to see if the driver took anything from the store. Driver is EWW with Shaker Heights and Maple Heights, both out of the radius. Male did take cigarettes from the store. In custody. Tow requested.

There are a couple of guns inside the house. They are locked inside the safe located inside the bedroom. Caller reporting that her boyfriend and she are fighting. It is verbal only, and he is refusing to leave. No alcohol involved. There is a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old inside the house. Caller is outside waiting for the police. Everything checked OK.

A male and female are arguing outside and picking up glass. One party left in an older SUV approximately 10 minutes ago, but it just came back to the home. Caller cannot see any weapons. She is at the corner of Columbus Road and Berwyn Drive. They are sweeping up the glass while arguing. Officers requesting squad for male with cut on his arm. Male declined a squad for a minor injury

Caller believes someone is in a vacant house on Avalon Drive. She sees lights on and there are never lights on. Caller stated officers requested she call if she saw anybody there as they believe someone may be squatting there. There was a break-in a few weeks ago. Officer examined exterior of the house, and it checks OK.

Alarm in the area has been going off for the last 10 minutes. It did the same thing for 10 minutes about 30 minutes ago. It sounds like a house alarm, and it is possibly coming from the storage facility on Rockside Road. Caller advised it isn’t going off now. It may still need to be checked as it keeps going off and then stopping.

Caller advised he is inside of his vehicle in the driveway. Female was hitting his car with a sledgehammer. She is parked in the driveway in her own vehicle at this time. Female left the sledgehammer in the garage.

Same caller from minutes earlier advising female just threw bleach on him. Female was driving on the neighbor’s grass and is currently heading north on Kenyon in a Nissan. Officers on Center Road are looking for thr suspect’s vehicle. Now, they are with the Nissan at Circle K at Rockside Road. Officers out at Kenyon for an escort. Male in custody.

Employee from Parks and Recreation called to say four males were smoking marijuana in the pavilion. Caller says he cannot see a good description of clothing through the security cameras. The information was called into the office through an anonymous tip. Officers out with one male. Now they are at the jail with the male.

Female at complainant’s house advised that her boyfriend hit her. Female is bruised on arm/face. Officer attempting to make contact with male. Officers standing by for belongings.

Young male has been sitting in his vehicle near this address in a white sedan. Caller states that the male has come and gone multiple times today and thinks there may be drug activity. Caller says the above address is a completely empty house. Juveniles advised of complaint and are leaving.

Female arrived home to find her doorknob off and her door is open. She has already been through the house, she will be waiting inside.

Fourteen-year-old female says her 13-year-old brother keeps punching her. She says she is not injured. The two siblings are screaming at each other and dispatch is unable to obtain where the parents are. The brother just walked out the door and said he “is going to have someone shoot him.” An uncle is now on scene with the teenagers.

Two people were trying to flag down the caller. They were sitting by the dumpster, and the caller did not recognize them. She thinks they are suspicious. Caller was on her way out and left the area. There was one male and one female. Female possibly wearing a shirt and activewear pants. Neither party was wearing a coat. Officers arrived. Male was EWW with University Heights. They were advised he is intoxicated. The warrant was confirmed, but they were unable to pick up. Both parties were advised to go inside for the night.

Caller reports her rear license plate is missing. Dispatch could not get further info due to call volume. Caller called again stating she has been in the hospital for two weeks and she is home now. She advised someone stole her rear license plate off of her vehicle.

Anonymous caller (private number) believes subjects are selling drugs from this house. Caller stating he can smell marijuana coming from the house and their behavior is suspicious. He stated the person is there now, driving a Toyota. Officers arrived. Checks OK.

Somewhere on E. Grace Street, someone is cutting their grass. Caller can hear it from her house. Officers advised it was a leaf blower. Everything checks OK.

Caller reporting a bike in front of her fence. Her daughter is outside in a car and is afraid to go into the home. Caller is inside and is afraid to go outside and look. No people have been seen. Police arrived. Checks OK.

Officers were driving through the area when they heard loud, irate yelling. Officers could not pinpoint where the yelling was coming from and drove through the area multiple times. The yelling was brief and stopped shortly after being heard and the area was quiet after.
