The Bedford Historical Society’s 55th Annual Strawberry Festival takes place this weekend and forecasters are predicting some “just right” weather for the event. Weather.com predicts temperatures around 80 degrees with humidity hovering between 50 and 60 percent and very little chance of rain. This is good news for those needing to mow their lawns, but also for those wanting to take part in the weekend’s festivities.

There are many food and crafts vendors at the festival. Here is a quick look at the scheduled activities:

Friday June 7 (6-11 PM:)
– Music by The Crosstown Traffic Band – 7-11 PM.

Saturday June 8 (12-11 PM:)
– Magic show and balloon art: 12 PM 
– Cuyahoga Valley Concert Band: 1 PM
– 50th year “Walk Through Memory Lane:” 2 PM
– Day Trippers: 3-5 PM
– 14th Annual Car & Motorcycle Show: 4-10 PM
– Sugar Pie and The Spyder Stompers & Get Hep Swing: 7-11 PM. Dance lessons at 7-8 PM

Sunday June 9 (1-8 PM:)
– DJ all day long
