A male is breaking up things inside the home. A female ran and called from a nearby house. The female met the police outside the home. She claimed the male is intoxicated. There are no known weapons. Officers returned the male to the jail.

A 18-year-old male assaulted the caller. The male approached the caller accusing him of taking a cell phone and they got into a fight. The assaulted male caller claims he can’t see out of one of his eyes. The suspect left out of the parking lot in a Ford, and a female was driving. The victim called back claiming the male who assaulted him came back and is across the street in the parking lot.

A female in the lobby is filing a report regarding her daughter. Someone filed her daughter’s taxes. She is her daughter’s legal guardian. The complainant filed her daughters taxes on May 19. They advised her that the Social Security number has already been filed with the Internal Revenue Service this year. They recommended a police report be filed so they can forward this information to the IRS for follow up. Her daughter was in an accident and is in a rehab clinic.

The complainant called to report that her ex-boyfriend, who is also the father of her child, is harassing her by cell phone. Their baby is 6-months-old and has some health issues. She said most of the arguments are about visiting the baby. She was told to keep a log about the phone calls to show when the calls are happening. An officer spoke with the ex-boyfriend by phone and he was advised of the complaint. His version of the problems are different from her complainant’s. He was given some options on visitation rights and making contact with the complainant. He said he would comply and work out their issues.

Officers spoke to the complainant who stated she loaned her son her credit card for his Xbox account. The complainant states that her son gave his friends access to his Xbox account which was “hacked” for approximately $215 in gift cards. The complainant states that she thinks it was her son’s 12-year-old friend, because her son scammed him in the past, and and she thinks this is an “eye for an eye” situation. The complainant advised she canceled her credit card and will bring in her bank transactions for officers to add to the report. The female was advised of her options in the future, but she was uncooperative.

An 85-year-old caller states a girl who lives upstairs in her late 20s hit the caller. This is a boarding house, and the caller lives in the back. Officers spoke to both females involved, and they had conflicting stories on what happened. The caller stated the disagreement started over food being taken out of the microwave and the female shoved her, spit on her and threw her shoe at her. The female involved stated she did yell at the caller, because the caller is sick and she doesn’t want her touching her food. She then states that the caller threw knives and forks at her, and that’s when she spit at her. Officers then spoke to three witnesses who stated there was a fight over food and the caller did throw knives and forks at the other female, and that is why she spit at her. All witnesses deny the female shoved the caller or did anything else physical. The female involved left for the night to keep the peace. However, the caller was not satisfied with the options officers gave her.

The complainant states he sold an iPhone 11 through the OfferUp app on May 22. The male states the buyer gave him a check for $600 which his bank returned as fraudulent. The complainant has the buyer’s name on the check. The two met for the exchange at the Sunoco lot on Turney Road in Bedford. The complainant states he texted the buyer today asking to meet up and did get a response, however, they never did meet. Video surveillance from Sunoco shows the car pull in with the complainant and possibly the buyer, however, the registration plate on the buyer’s car is not clear and the transaction is made just outside of the camera’s angle. It was not possible to get any identifiers on the buyer. An attempt to call the phone number given had negative results. The complainant was advised of the risks of making transactions by check and given options for future dealings.

Officers responded for a disturbance. The male involved struck the caller in the face with his fist and pointed a gun at her. The male is charged with a CCW, endangering children, and interference with custody. The female was entered as a missing juvenile and was wanted out of Cuyahoga County. She was transported to Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center.

The complainant wanted to report a number of catalytic converters stolen sometime last night from a back lot. The complainant said he believes it was last night because a few of the cars were parked in that lot on Wednesday. The back part of the lot is by the railroad tracks and there is no fencing. Bedford Nissan employee’s had found about eight vehicles with missing converters.

An officer spoke with the victim in the lobby. A package was delivered to US Bank on 5-15-20 via UPS and given to an employee. The employee stated he placed the package on the complainant’s desk after it was delivered. When the complainant returned to work on 5-26-20 he could not find the package. The value of the items is $81. US Bank loss prevention will investigate the matter.

The complainant wanted to report the theft of her iPhone 10 that was taken from her desk at work. She said that she had a few customers in today, but knows the phone was taken in the last hour. She has no suspects, and there are cameras in the office. She will look to get the serial number of her phone. The complainant does have insurance on the phone and has a new phone being mailed to her.

A female is on station for a custody dispute. Her child’s father is refusing to share custody. An officer spoke to the female who provided paperwork from the courts stating she gets her daughter from Thursday through Monday. Officers went to the male’s residence and he was not home. Officers advised the grandparents who were watching the daughter of the situation and stated the male would return home to arrange a meet for the daughter. The mother was not satisfied and does not think the male will comply and go back to violating the court paperwork. The female wants it on file that the male is, in fact, violating the shared custody agreement.

A male wearing an orange hat and brown sweater took two beer cans off the shelf, and  then went into the restroom. The clerk believes he is going to drink them while inside. The male is still in the restroom per the caller. The male smelled like alcohol before using the restroom. The complainant will call if the male comes out of the bathroom. Officers responded and spoke with the male. The male consumed one can of beer and returned the second can. Walgreens did not wish to pursue charges, but wanted the male trespassed from the property. The suspect was EWW with the Parma Police Department who wanted him advised and released. He was advised not to return to Walgreens and sent on his way.

A male came in and yelled at an employee and customer, and left with some ice cream. He left in a Jeep with a temporary tag, and went north on Turney Road. This occurred approximately 10 minutes ago. Officers responded for a report of shoplifting. The employee stated a male purchased $3 worth of fuel with a credit card and was irate because he stated he purchased $5 worth. The male then became more irate and took two Spongebob ice cream bars stating in a loud tone, “It’s my daughter’s birthday,” and left the store without paying. The employee was advised to contact the police if the male returns to the store.

The complainant stated she was going to the house to retrieve property when she was threatened by her husband’s ex-wife. The caller stated she will return later when the female leaves.

A female would like an officer to call her so she can make a report about threats being made to her over Facebook. The caller states the suspect has threatened to come to her home and beat her up. The female stated that she posted a comment on a friend’s Facebook page, and that someone related to that person directly messaged her regarding her comment. The female expressed her dislike for the caller’s comment but did not make any direct threats. The caller wanted this to be documented and would let officers know if the messages intensify.

The caller and her son are being harassed by a male on social media. She would like to file a report and get some advice. The complainant in the lobby stated someone on Instagram is making sexual comments about her 15-year-old son. She believes the person to be a former male acquaintance to her 25-year-old son. The complainant provided the username of the person from Instagram. Both accounts that were provided have been deleted. Police spoke with the suspect’s mother at her residence in Maple Heights. She was left a business card to have her son call the department for his side of the story.

The caller states that a door is damaged in an attempt to break into her apartment. The female is at the police station and would like to make a report. It appeared an unknown person(s) attempted to force entry into the complainant’s mother’s apartment via the hallway door. The complainant stated she observed missing pieces of rubber gasket and scratches around the doorknob lock. She said this is the third time someone has tampered with her door and was advised to notify the apartment manager of the incidents.

A female is receiving threatening voicemails from an ex-boyfriend. The female stated she received four voicemails from her ex-boyfriend, one of them being an actual threat. The suspect left the female a voicemail and stated, “You got something coming. I’m a blood. I’m gonna get the last words.” The female stated she was going to get her phone number changed and had already blocked his phone number. An officer contacted the male who stated he and the female had arguments in the past which led to him becoming upset and leaving the voicemails. He also stated he was going to block her phone number and refrain from having any contact with her. The officer then contacted the female and advised her that the situation has been addressed and to contact the police if she received additional threats.

Officers spoke with a female in the lobby who stated that she received a text from an unknown number to sign up to be a “secret shopper” for Whole Foods, Amazon and Walmart. The female exchanged some personal info with the unknown person and was later sent a check through the mail for $1950.70 with directions to and buy $800 in eBay gift cards from one store and $800 in Walmart gift cards from another. The female deposited the check on May 29 and the male began to rush her to buy the gift cards which she found suspicious. The female was advised on this being a scam and not to buy the gift cards.

A 35-year-old male caller states he was attacked by his 61-year-old father, who kicked and punched him. The caller and his father got into an argument today over the caller not being able to go to his brother’s house due to Covid-19 concerns. The caller stated he attacked his father and punched his vehicle. He then claimed his father assaulted him. There were no visible injuries on either party. The caller was transported by squad for a mental evaluation.

The complainant stated her ex-boyfriend is texting and calling her, and making threats to harm her. The complainant requested the male to be advised not to have any contact with her and that he is not welcome at the house. A message was left on the male’s cell phone advising him not to return to the residence. He returned the message and spoke with the department. He stated he lives at the residence and is married to the complainant. He stated if he wanted to go to the house there is nothing the police could do. He was again advised he is not welcome at the residence and will be arrested for trespassing. He stated he has property at the residence and will contact the police for an escort to retrieve his items.

An officer spoke with the male via telephone, and the male said that within the past three days, someone took his prepaid credit card and cell phone. The caller said an unknown person(s) fraudulently made $1,100 worth of transactions. The male did admit he was “smoking” with a friend and drank a large amount of malt liquor in the past two days, but he did not think he could have spent the $1,100 in such a short amount of time. The male was advised that the police would not be able to investigate the matter, and he then asked if the police department could provide him a cell phone.

The complainant stated that she met a male on the dating website, Plenty of Fish, in January. She stated that the male gave her a name of another male and that hailed from Uniontown, Ohio. On May 19, the complainant gave the man her checking account number through her bank. She gave him the information because he stated that he needed to have his personal airplane repaired, and that he needed the complainant to pay the repairman because he was in the United Kingdom working. The complainant stated that the man transferred $10,700 into her account. On May 28, the complainant had discovered that the bank froze her accounts because they believe that the $10,700 transfer is fraudulent. At this time the complainant does not know if any funds have been taken from her account by the male as the bank told her they are still investigating the matter. She was told to come back to the department to report any funds which may have been fraudulently withdrawn from her account.

Both females stated the argument started over the daughter being brought home by different males throughout the night. The daughter left for the night to keep the peace.

A customer wrote a check for $1,700 on a business account for repairs on his vehicle. The check was returned for having insufficient funds. The employee states that they have done business with this male in the past and he always writes good checks on the same account. He was advised to send a certified letter of demand for payment and to contact the police in 10 days if payment is not received. The employee does not know the male’s name and the vehicle is registered to a female.

The complainant reports that he shares a P.O. Box with his son at the Bedford Post Office to which they both have keys. The complainant believes that his son took his Social Security check and cashed it by signing his name. The complainant also has no proof that his son is the one that cashed the check. The male was advised that a crime did not take place in Bedford since he and his son were both authorized to access the box. He was advised to contact Social Security and report the incident.

Officers spoke with the caller who stated his cousin punched him in the face over a lost phone. The cousin admitted that there was a verbal argument over a cell phone, and he did strike the male in the face. The caller stated he does not want to press charges, he just wants his cousin off the property for the night. The cousin then gave false information to officers and was taken into custody for falsification.

The caller was trying to leave, but then his ex-girlfriend pushed him and hit him in the face with a stick. The female had a knife earlier in the night. It is unknown if it is still on the female. The caller stated he pushed her back after she pushed him. The female has been smoking marijuana. The male said he had one drink. The caller is waiting outside by his car in the driveway. She is outside as well. Officers responded to the listed address and found both parties intoxicated. The male was relocated and waited for a sober driver to pick him up.

An officer spoke with a female in the lobby for a report of threats. The female stated her ex-boyfriend, who is also the father of her daughter, has been leaving her threatening voicemails. On May 18, the female received a voicemail in which he stated, “If I can’t have you, no one can. I’m gonna make your life a living hell. I’m gonna torture you and slit your throat. Your a– is grass.” The female stated the male has mental health issues and constantly wants to see her daughter, which he has no custody of. The officer advised her to block the male’s number, not to answer calls from private or unknown numbers and to contact the police if she continues to receive threatening messages.

A male iis in the lobby and would like to see someone. He said six or seven people just jumped him at Ellenwood. He refused a squad, and said his arm is hurt. He said one of the suspects owes him money and his family jumped him. No weapons were involved — just hands. The male advised he was at the Ellenwood playground when he observed the group of males exit from a silver vehicle. One of the males he recognized. The male said that several months ago, the male approached him at the library because he heard the complainant was able to fix cell phone screens. The male performed the repair and gave the phone back to the male, but never received his $50 fee. The male said he did not call the suspect today and did not set up a meeting. He does not know how the suspect knew he was at Ellenwood. The male did not have any visible injuries, scratches, scrapes, or dirt on any of his clothing. The male was advised, due to having no information regarding the identity of any of the individuals involved, no further investigation will follow.

Officers responded to the residence for a report of a stolen vehicle. The complainant stated he was “hanging” with three unknown females at his brother’s residence. During the course of the visit, the three unknown females decided to leave the residence. After the females left, the male stated he noticed his vehicle was missing along with his keys. The officers asked the male if he knew the females and he stated he just met them off of Instagram and was texting them. The officer attempted to make contact with the females, but the phone number was not active. The males on the scene completed witness statements and a stolen vehicle addendum. The officer advised the male of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and the male declined to pursue charges. No further police action is required at this time.

The male was advised that if he returns he will be charged with trespassing.

Officers checked the house, and it appeared to check OK. The caller called the homeowner and let her know. She also advised officers where the spare key was, and the officers were able to secure the house.

A male caller would like to make a police report about being shot at on Sunday in his front yard. A vehicle pulled onto the apron of his driveway and then shot two shots at him and left. He followed the vehicle into Cleveland. He cannot come to the station because he is wearing an ankle monitor. The complainant stated a red SUV pulled into his driveway and fired two shots at him from a rifle. The complainant stated he didn’t get a good look at the vehicle or the occupants other than the vehicle had dark tinted windows. The complainant stated a green Mercury vehicle was stopped north of his location and he believes this vehicle was also involved. The complainant got into his vehicle and followed the two vehicles into Cleveland before losing them. He stated his daughter has received text messages indicating he would be a victim of gunfire. Officers checked the driveway and yard for spent shell casings and were unable to locate any. No bullet fragments or bullet holes were located in the immediate area of where the male stated he was standing. A voicemail was left with the complainant’s daughter. There are no suspects at this time.

Officers spoke to the caller who stated sometime between 6/1 and the time of call, that unknown person(s) came in and stole random sets of coins and eight pairs of shoes. Officers could not locate any signs of forced entry, and the places where the items were taken from did not appear to have been gone through. Officers advised the caller a report would be on file at the station.

The caller advised he is a medic that responded to New York for Covid-19. He is negative, but this is why the female refuses to turn over the child. He was advised that this is a civil matter.

A caller advised a male passenger in a Nissan with temporary tags almost struck the caller’s vehicle. When the caller beeped, the male passenger flashed a firearm. The caller does not want to speak with officers, the caller only wants the area checked. The car had a female driver and a male passenger who flashed the black handgun.

The complainant and a friend came into the station to talk about an assault that took place. They stated while at a party, a few small arguments started between a couple different groups of people. Some of the people were asked to leave the party. When the complainant and her friend were leaving the party, they were approached by a male subject and a female. They started arguing and it got physical with hair-pulling and pushing. The fight was broken up by friends, and they went home. The police were called to the home about the fight, but upon arrival all parties involved were gone. The complainant’s friend did have a lump on her head, but she is not sure who struck her. No charges at this time.

A man in a blue truck with lawn equipment pulled a gun on the caller. The male turned up Grand from Broadway Avenue and stopped at Kenyon Avenue. The incident started as a road rage issue on Broadway just north of Forbes Road. Officers searched the area for the suspected vehicle, but it was gone upon arrival. The complainant did not have any further details on the vehicle or driver. The complainant was advised to contact the police if he see the vehicle again.

Officers spoke with a complainant who states that a home aide assigned to her from a temp agency had stolen her bank card and made several ATM withdrawals using it. The complainant also advised that she had given a money order to the aide for the amount of $400 to give as a church offering, but the church never received it. The complainant has already advised her bank to freeze her bank card, and advised the temp agency of the issues. Officers spoke with the aid via phone who stated that she mailed off the money order and admitted to the ATM withdrawals. She stated that each withdrawal was authorized by the complainant, and all money and receipts were returned to the complainant on the same day. The aide advised that she will fill out a witness statement.

Officers responded to the residence for a report of an assault. The officers immediately made contact with the subject who stated she was involved in a verbal dispute with her neighbor and was unsure of why officers were present. The female subject stated she shares a garage with the complainant and that they have been having ongoing issues with who has access to the garage. The subject stated she and the complainant got into a verbal argument regarding who has access and that the complainant picked up a black garbage can lid and was threatening the subject with it. The subject also stated she did yell at the complainant but nothing physical occurred. The officers made contact with the complainant who stated she did get into an altercation with the subject but did not threaten her in any way. The complainant then stated the subject assaulted her with a closed fist in the left side of her face and does wish to pursue charges. The neighbor hit the caller in the mouth, smacked her wig off and pushed her against the house. The assault occurred in the garage, and there were no witnesses or video footage to the assault. The complainant requested EMS and refused transport. Officers observed no physical injuries to either female, and both parties stated they were physically disabled. Both parties were photographed and given witness statements to complete.

The female complainant stated that she was sleeping in her downstairs bedroom when she heard her unlocked side door open to the kitchen. The female stated she woke up and was able to see a male crawling on her floor. She stated the male reached up and grabbed her money off of the bin on the bedroom floor. The complainant stated the male took $45 in cash. The officer asked the female why she did not call 911 when the theft occurred. She stated due to being physically disabled that she was tired and already knew who the male was. The female identified the male to the officer and was able to show the officer the male’s Facebook. The female stated she did not see the male’s face but knows it was the male she identified due to his body type and his clothing. An additional officer administered a photo lineup but the female did not pick out any of the males on the lineup. The female stated she knows the male due to him being friends with her son and because he will at times come over to use her computer. The female did state she confronted the male at his residence earlier today, but he denied having any involvement. Officers attempted to make contact with the male at his residence but were unsuccessful. The female was given a witness statement to complete.

An officer responded and spoke with a female in the lobby for a report of harassment. The female stated she received a text around 1330 hours on June 8 from her son’s ex-girlfriend’s mother stating, “I’m gonna kick your a–.” The female stated she was very unsure as to why the woman would want to beat her up but just wanted this documented. The officer advised the female to block the woman’s phone number and to not answer any phone calls from private numbers. The female stated she would prefer if an officer did not contact the woman to advise her of the situation and she will report back to the police if the issue continues.

A former tenant is attempting to take furniture and pictures. The property manager is also responding. Officers located a Penske truck on the scene. The officer stated the former tenant was only taking her personal property and nothing else. The building owner was advised to handle everything else as a civil matter.

A 60-year-old male comes up to the complainant at work and has her name and number. He hangs out outside waiting for her when she gets off work. All of this is unwanted attention. He called himself “Juice.”

The complainants stated that they hired a contractor to waterproof one of the structures located on Broadway. The agreed upon cost was $4,600 with $2,300 being paid up front. The contractor started the work and began throwing garbage around the property and not cleaning up after himself and his workers. On June 8, the complainant confronted the contractor about the refuse being left on the property, and the contractor yelled at her. The complainant’s husband then attempted to speak with the contractor, and the two got into a heated discussion and the contractor shoved the complainant’s husband. The contractor was restrained by his workers.  The complainant has been receiving harassing texts from the contractor and has contacted the Glenwillow Police Department about the threats. The complainant would like the contractor advised to stop contacting her. Also, they will pay the contractor another $1,100 for work done, however the contractor’s brother has to come to get the equipment left on the property. An officer spoke with the contractor and he agreed to accept the $1,100 payment and will send his brother to pick up the equipment.

A woman wanted to report being assaulted by an ex-boyfriend. The incident happened earlier today. Officers spoke to the female in the lobby. She alleged that last night around midnight, she went over to get money for a broken window that the male allegedly caused. An argument ensued and the male half allegedly struck her in the face. Officers spoke to the male on the phone. He refuted the claims that he struck her. The male stated she came over drunk and was looking to fight over a relationship issue. She claimed to have sustained an injury to her lip area, but officers were unable to see any damage. Photos were taken and the female provided a statement. Officers will forward the information to the prosecutor for a ruling. Both parties were advised to stay away from one another.

The complainant stated that his ex-girlfriend posted a naked picture of him to Instagram. The complainant was just told of this by a friend as he does not follow his ex-girlfriend on Instagram. He stated that he ended the relationship over two years ago and she continues to harass him to this day. The complainant stated that he has a current assault case from Bedford going through the courts now in which the complainant was charged with felonious assault against his ex-girlfriend in February. There is a protection order against the complainant. He stated that he has his ex-girlfriend blocked on all social media and her phone number is blocked also. The complainant wished for the police to contact her to tell her to stop posting pictures and comments about him to social media. The complainant was also given advice on obtaining a civil protection order against his ex-girlfriend.

The caller states there is a male that keeps coming into the store and walking around and not buying anything. The caller states he has been in the store three times recently today. The caller states an older male has been outside walking around the building lot. The caller states the male has been there for over 30 minutes. The caller is no longer in the area caller and has left for work. An officer advised that the male is a resident of the complex and has locked himself out trying to get into his apartment. Officers were not able to get the male into his apartment, and he will wait until his wife gets home.

The caller advised she can hear a lot of yelling from the park. She can’t tell if they are arguing or playing. It sounds like they are near the pavilion, and that there may be about three or four teenagers. They were in a vehicle, but it sounds like they have gotten out. The juveniles were advised of the complaint, and they will be leaving for the night.

Officers observed a male running through the car lots of Nissan and Subaru. While trying to locate the male, the male was seen hiding behind cars on the lot. Officers made contact with the male who stated he was just walking through the lots to avoid police officers on a traffic stop on Rockside Road. The male was identified and sent on his way. Checks OK at this time.

The caller states a group of people are at her back door. She advised that she doesn’t know who they are. Officers found that the group was there to confront a female at the residence and maybe learn of the whereabouts of a possible stolen vehicle out of Oakwood Village. A female juvenile resident allegedly stole the vehicle. The vehicle was not entered as stolen as of yet, and the juvenile is unaware of the vehicle’s whereabouts. Both parties were advised to follow up with Oakwood Police Department to get the vehicle entered as stolen or to give possible leads of where the vehicle is located.

The caller is advising there is someone playing loud, offensive music from a house that is south of Avery. An additional caller was also advising the same complaint. Officers found it was a family gathering. The music was not excessive. The homeowner was advised of the complaint.

Officers made contact with a male and two females about the noise complaint, and they stated they were just listening to music. As officers were speaking with the parties, the male was acting very nervous, and repeatedly had to be told by officers to not reach into his waistband and pockets. The officers conducted a pat down for weapons and the male admitted to having marijuana in his front pocket. The male was also EWW with Cleveland Heights Police Department. Officers advised the group of the complaint and they agreed to quiet down. The male was advised of marijuana possession and the suspected marijuana was placed into property to be destroyed.

An officer spoke to a female complainant who felt uneasy about a worker from a landscaping company. The female stated she has never had problems in the past with the company, but recently while getting her yard worked on, an employee was persistent about giving her a hug, which made her feel uncomfortable. Later in the day, she explained the male came back after work and asked her for money which made her more suspicious. The female was advised options to contact the company, advised on security cameras, and if the male persists, to contact the police about criminal trespass.
