The complainant wanted to report iPhones missing from her home. She said that on Tuesday she had an argument with her boyfriend, who took the phones out of her room see who she has been texting. She said she has not seen the phones since that argument. She believes he took the phones. The police department spoke with the male involved by cell phone. He states that he does not have the cell phones and she is lying. He does not recall any argument with her on Tuesday. The complainant has no receipts or serial numbers for the phones to be entered.

A grandmother is reporting her grandson took her keys and left with her vehicle. He was over visiting when the grandmother fell asleep. An officer spoke with the complainant over the phone. The complainant was advised of the 48-hour unauthorized use policy and was told to call on Monday if the vehicle is still missing.

A caller stated that she just arrived home and someone had thrown black and red paint on her house. There are jars still in the yard, and the caller states that she had issues with some juveniles a couple weeks ago. The caller states that her roommate was home and heard something about 15 minutes ago but did not see anything. An officer responded and spoke with the complainant for a report of damage to her home. The complainant mentioned she believes that a group of juveniles that hang out in the area could be the ones responsible for the damage to her home but does not know for sure.

The complainant stated that she was contacted by a representative of Target Cash Now, an online loan service, advising her that she owed on a $1300 loan, which was taken out in March. The complainant stated that she had not taken out the loan. The money was transferred to a savings account by person(s) unknown, according to the complainant. The complainant stated the financial institution will be investigating and requested that a police report be on file. The complainant feels it’s possible her information was obtained online or possibly through a prior employment. She was advised that this information would be on file.

A male busted the door open of the house and now is threatening everyone in the house with the knife. He told them that he would kill them. Officers are out with the male.

A 13-year-old male advised that other juveniles wanted him to come out and play, and they were kicking and damaged the door. An officer spoke with the other juveniles and was advised that the 13-year-old came to their house wanting to fight and then ran home and locked himself in the house.  When they went to confront him he would not come outside. When he refused, the boys kicked in his back door causing damage. They claimed he came to their house and they were hanging out all day. At some point someone was smacked in the face and the 13-year-old ran home. They then chased him home and damaged the door because he would not come out. The three boys are on-again, off-again friends who have a history of not getting along and fighting. An officer attempted to speak with the mother about the damage to her house, but she is at work.

A male wearing blue jacket was walking towards Northfield Road in traffic yelling and waving his arms. Officers are out with the male. He stated he was upset that his shoes were wet. He was advised to use the available sidewalk and sent on his way.

The caller’s next-door neighbor to the left is having a party. There are lots of cars parked in the street, with loud music. This is an ongoing complaint per the caller. She does not wish to speak with officers. The officers said this was not a valid complaint. There was no noise coming from any residence in the area.

The caller said there is a white sedan in the middle of the street blocking the caller’s driveway. The passenger-side door is partially open. The car does not appear occupied. Officers found a male inside of the vehicle who appears to be passed out. The male was located sleeping in his vehicle. He was trying to make it to his home, but he got tired and pulled over to sleep. He did not realize he was blocking a driveway. His vehicle was legally parked and he was given a ride home.

The brother left the residence and officers were unable to locate the male. No threats were made at this time, just banging on door

The caller advises her neighbor has been singing outside all day and he has a terrible singing voice. The female was very distracted by his singing and she cannot complete her work. The caller just called back and is now stating the male is in the roadway and impeding traffic. The male is near the hospital entrance. Officers found no one singing on arrival.

A male and female are physically fighting in the store. The male assaulted the female. Upon further questioning, the female stated the male spit on her. The manager has them separated at this time. One male is in custody.

A male stole an ice tea and left towards the library. He has been advised several times not to return to the store. An officer viewed the video footage and observed the male taking two bottles and leaving the store without paying. Store employees did not wish to pursue charges but instead wanted him advised of trespassing. Employees were advised to contact the police if he returns. An officer found the male, and he was advised of trespassing.

The complainant called to report that someone sent his mom a threatening text message. In addition, the next morning they located dead dandelions by their door. The number appears to be from a text messaging app and does not accept calls or texts. The complainant does not know who may have sent the message and asked for additional patrols around their house.

Someone in a vehicle with a temporary tag that had no numbers didn’t make the curb and went across the driveway and ended up hitting seven vehicles before fleeing. The driver left the vehicle at the scene. The name of the owner of the vehicle was located in the glove box. The officer found blood on the airbag of the vehicle, and called over to local hospitals to see if the suspect went in for injuries. Officers responded to Florida Avenue in Cleveland to speak with the owner of the vehicle. A family member called the male who came down from the upstairs of the house and appeared to be in obvious discomfort. Officers spoke to the male who stated that he was driving on Rockside Road and a bike cut across the street and he swerved and drove into the parking lot of the dealership. An officer detected a slight odor of alcohol about the male when speaking with him. The male stated that the accident happened about 2200 hours on 4/22/20 and then looked at a bus ticket that he removed from his pocket and then stated that it was more like 0100 hours on 4/23/20. The male advised that he does not have insurance on the vehicle since he recently purchased it. The officer issued a citation for reasonable control and hit skip.

The caller went to the house to check on her mom and found that she was wet and that things were thrown around. Per the caller, her mom is not bleeding, but the caller’s brother has plastic knives in his hand and he has reactive attachment disorder. The brother who is 12 years old, told the mother not to say anything. The caller went outside across the street so she could call the police. Per the caller, the mom has a code word with the daughter to get the police, and the mom used the code word. Officers responded to the report of domestic violence. The complainant stated her 12-year-old son punched and kicked her and then threatened to kill her. The officers spoke with the male who was calm upon arrival. He stated there was an argument with his mother and he threw items at her. The juvenile intake was contacted and stated they would not take him at their facility. He was transported by an officer to Children and Family Services for placement.

The caller advised that her mother was hit by a boyfriend. The caller is a 12-year-old female. The mom and her boyfriend are still inside of the home. The male has been drinking. The mother is now on the line. The female was pushed and hit with a piece of wood. The caller advised she has a gun locked in a safe. The boyfriend is in the room with the gun but does not have access. The boyfriend moved out about a month ago but has since moved back in. There are two children in the home as well, and they are OK. The male is in custody.

An officer spoke to a female complainant over the phone stating her ex-boyfriend was over at her home last night around 10 p.m. and spit in her face. The female stated that she thinks he has coronavirus and wanted this to be documented. The officer spoke to the male by phone. He stated he did stop over to bring his ex-girlfriend food, but denied spitting in her face. Both parties were advised to stay away from each other and to immediately call police if there are future problems between them.

Officers were out with a male at the park. He was out of it and sleepy on the park bench. There were no drugs or signs of alcohol use. The squad transported him for his confused state.

A neighbor saw a male chase a female into the house. The female closed the door, and he started throwing rocks at the door. The caller believes the male is high. Officers are with the male, and he is extremely intoxicated. The male is being detained. A squad was called for the male, but he refused to go to the hospital. He was at his mother’s house and she will care for him for the night.

Officers spoke with a person by phone who stated that her daughter’s ex-boyfriend has been sending her threatening messages. The officers looked at screenshots of an Instagram message with threats to kill the daughter and damage property at her job. Officers also read text messages from a phone which were sent to the caller’s daughter with additional threats. Officers are unable at this time to connect the messages and Instagram to the male.

A male reports that he wants his mom removed from his house. She is ruining his life and he wants her to leave. The mom is downstairs, and he is upstairs in his room. The male says he has PTSD that she is a walking trigger. An officer spoke to the male and advised him he would need to pursue a court eviction of his mother to have her removed. The male advised he would respond to the court.

They finally left and stated something about heading to a friend’s house or over on Archer. No vehicle was found like that on Archer.

A caller states someone just opened her garage door. She said she has the remotes in the house, and the main door was locked. She is not sure how they opened the garage door since it is electric. It is unknown what caused the garage door to go up, but the area checked OK.

The caller’s dog was outside in the yard, and it came inside covered in gas. The dog is also foaming at the mouth. The caller is not home but her mother is there, and her husband is on his way home. The dog did not need to go to a veterinarian at this time. Examination of the area found gas residue on leaf litter and bushes.  No containers were seen in the neighbor’s yard. This happened once before with bleach, the complainant said.

The caller would like an officer to check to see if there is damage and call her back. Officers found the truck is still stuck in the lot. There is damage to grass, and there is nothing further police can do at this time.

A caller is reporting some sort of disturbance in the front yard involving a vehicle and a male wearing all black walking in her driveway, The vehicle has since left , and the male is knocking on the caller’s door. She does not know who it is. The male is now walking away and he is possibly intoxicated. An officer found the male and is requesting a squad for him. The male was allegedly having a schizophrenic episode according to his friend. He was transported to the emergency room.
