An officer spoke with the complainant who stated that on 5-29-23, she was involved in a domestic disturbance with her significant other. She stated that he left with her bag that contained personal items of hers including medications that she needed to treat her illness. The complainant stated she is currently staying in a women’s shelter and needs the police report to replace her meds.

The complainant stated his son’s bicycle was stolen while he was in the library. The bicycle was described as a youth-sized bicycle, all black in color, no stickers, green and black tiger-striped wheel spokes. The make and model are unknown. Officers checked the security cameras at the library and observed a juvenile male wearing a blue “gap” hoodie take the bicycle at 1610 hours. The male rides the bicycle toward Washington and then out of view of the camera. Information is on file.

The complainant stated that her husband called her asking if she could check for his wallet. When the complainant advised him that she didn’t see it, he said he believed he left it in the cup holder of their car. The complainant stated that she checked her Ring camera and noticed a male by their car at approximately 0226 hours. The complainant stated that the male seemed to have some kind of device that allowed him to open the vehicle. The male closed the door and left the area. The complainant realized her AirPods were also missing and checked the location and they pinged at 0451 hours at a house on Helper Road. The value of the AirPods is approximately $300. The officer requested the Ring video from the complainant. The officer will forward all documents and paperwork to the bureau for follow-up.

A female left the store with products in her arms. There was also a second female pushing a stroller with a child in it. The subjects are currently at Columbus and Northfield Roads pushing the stroller. The store didn’t want to provide anymore details since the women got away.

Sometime today, an unknown person took a black and green BMX-style bike that was laying on the tree lawn in front of the house. The complainant does have a camera but it did not record the theft. No houses in the area have cameras and there were no witnesses. The bike is valued at approximately $200.

They advised him to go back to the pavilion.

The complainants are at the station to report that an unknown person(s) cut their lock off of their storage unit and removed several items. The last time they checked their storage unit was 6-7-23 and everything was accounted for. They also stated that U-Haul had placed their own lock on the unit, and they had to have an employee open it up for them. They will conduct an inventory and provide a list of everything that is stolen and a value. Both complainants state that they are current with all fees and costs regarding the storage unit. The manager states she advised the female to make a police report first due to firearms missing.

The caller is an employee and would like to make an assault report. Between 1820 hours and 1840 hours, a male came up to buy cigarettes, and the employee went to scan his ID. The male became irate and reached over the counter and attempted to grab the cigarettes out of her hand. He also tried to take the ID back. She doesn’t need EMS and isn’t hurt but would like a report made. She cannot provide a description of the male, but has camera footage. The male is no longer on the scene. The complaint advised a manager will be in on 06-11-23 at 0430 hours until 1430 hours. An officer will follow up and obtain footage.

The caller just left this address about 5 minutes ago, and this is her ex-boyfriend’s house. The male is still there. The caller is advising that he grabbed her neck and slammed her head into the car window. He also damaged her vehicle when he kicked it and dented the front and side. She denied EMS. Officer spoke with the male half who advised everything was okay and the female left. An officer spoke with the female at a different location who advised they had a verbal dispute that got physical. The female advised the male grabbed her by the throat and hit her head against the window. The male then exited the vehicle and kicked the front passenger side wheel well causing damage. The female declined charges and was advised on how to obtain a protection order.

Officers responded to the Bedford Skatepark for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke to two juveniles. The juveniles said three unknown juveniles approached them at the skatepark and began a verbal argument. One of the unknown juveniles pushed down and took the complainant’s bike and then crashed it, causing minor damage. They said the juveniles ran off shortly before officers arrived. All the suspects appeared to be 11-13 years old. As a courtesy, the parents were notified via the juveniles’ phones of what happened. They did not appear to have injuries, and the bike was still able to be ridden. Soon after, an officer found three juveniles in the Grand Boulevard and Eldred Avenue area who matched the descriptions given by the juveniles. The suspected juveniles admitted to being at the skatepark at the time of the argument but denied knowing who took the bike. Their information was obtained and they were sent on their way.

An officer spoke to the complainant who stated that her car was broken into sometime between June 10 at 2130 hours and June 11 at 1045 hours. The complainant stated that she accidentally left her vehicle unlocked and woke up Sunday morning to discover that it was rummaged through. The complainant stated that she is missing some photo booth lights and equipment and three pairs of sandals and a pair of Jordan tennis shoes, along with her wallet. She stated she has no issues with anyone and has no idea who could have broke into her vehicle. She was advised to contact the police if she finds out who may have done it, or if she finds more items missing from her vehicle.

The officer spoke with the complainant who advised they are missing possibly up to four green pedal bikes. The bikes were in a locked fence area for Safety Town. The approximate cost for each bike is between $200-$400. Bedford Schools will locate the surveillance footage to give a better idea of how many bikes were stolen and possible images of the suspect(s). Prior to officers’ arrival, the complainant advised they observed two children riding the bikes at Wolf’s Cove Apartments. The officer checked the area, but the bikes were unable to be located. Bedford Schools were also able to locate two bikes at the corner of Solon Road and Washington Street.

After the complainant gave the person the registration, the person left the area and never paid the complainant; however the complainant still has the vehicle. The complainant then received a notice from the person to appear in small claims court due to the incident. The complainant was given advice and information regarding his options.

The caller was notified from her bank that someone attempted to charge her card $527.87 from Walmart.com, but it did not go through. However, $49.50 was charged through Straight Talk Wireless. The caller believes it could have been her son who had recently moved out and used her card fraudulently because he had access to it. The caller wanted this to be documented to give to her bank.

The male who stole the bike yesterday is back now and is inside by the computers. The male is leaving now on a dark colored bike east on Tarbell Avenue. Officers located the juvenile on Northfield Road by the Family Dollar. The officer confiscated the bike. The male was OK with that. He stated he found the bike on a tree lawn two days ago. The bike is in very poor repair. The bike was confiscated to be entered into property. The officer advised the juvenile to have his mother contact the library regarding the issue.

The caller thinks kids from a previous report were back in the lot and scoping out vehicles to steal. When employees approached them, they ran through a hole in the fence. The only descriptions are a blue hoodie, red hoodie and green hoodie. One is also wearing a skull cap. The caller is an employee and doesn’t necessarily need to speak to the police, but does require extra patrols for the next few days. The officers checked Greencroft Road and found the hole in the fence. An officer will follow up on Monday when the manager is in that can view video at Kia.

A male in a NYPD hat, tactical vest, with handcuffs was walking around the Strawberry Festival. He walked from the gazebo and then north on Broadway. Now the caller no longer sees him. The caller advised the male stared at her and she thought it was odd. The caller advised her husband, and he made contact with an officer at the festival and they are aware who he is. An officer advised they are aware of the male. There was no need to send the police.

The male claimed he is a detective. The caller thinks the male is under the influence of something. The male is in his late 20s or early 30s. The caller is the clerk of GasWay and doesn’t need to see an officer. The male is not a danger to himself or others. He is just acting strange around gas stations. The male ran off. He was not threatening anyone and is not a harm. GasWay will call back if he returns.

Officers responded to the area for a report of a vehicle chasing a female around the hospital parking lot. The caller was unable to provide any further description of the female or vehicle. The caller did advise the vehicle involved was last seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed northbound on Logan Street. The caller also advised he believes the female either ran toward Columbus Rd or may have gotten back into the vehicle. Officers checked the area and no signs of a disturbance were observed. An officer spoke with the caller who advised he was unable to provide any further description due to looking through his window and it being dark out. At this time, both the female and vehicle were gone on arrival. No further description could be obtained for either.

Officers responded to multiple reports of shots fired in the area. All the parties the officers spoke with stated it came near the dumpsters between Lee Road South and Corkhill Road. Officers could not locate any signs of gunfire. A vehicle parked in the area had fresh damage to its windshield. There were multiple locations where the windshield was struck by an unknown object. Officers were unable to locate anything else.

The caller is trying to leave and a male is refusing to allow her to leave. The female wanted an escort to get some belongings so she could leave for the night. The intoxicated male made several statements about shooting anybody if they came through his door. He was advised against that. As the female caller and officers were leaving, the male came onto his balcony with what appeared to be the shotgun he had mentioned earlier. As officers were driving away, a single shot could be heard. The male stayed out on the balcony for a few more minutes before going inside. There are possible pending charges against the male.

The victim reports that sometime overnight, person(s) unknown, entered her unlocked vehicle and stole it. All payments are up to date and no one else has access to the keys or should be driving it. The vehicle hit on Flock cameras in Orange at around 0300 hours. The vehicle was entered into leads and was immediately recovered in Cleveland with no damage. The vehicle was removed from leads and the victim responded to Cleveland to retrieve her vehicle. There were no cameras or witnesses to the theft.

A female is in the lobby to speak with an officer about an incident in Bedford Municipal Court. The two parties were in court for the female violating the terms of a protection order. The case was resolved, and the female was ordered to pay a fine. The female stated that as she was exiting the court room to go pay the fine, the male was standing outside the courtroom. She proceeded to the cashiers office and she stated that he kept walking past her and at one point walked up very close to her. The female requested that the officer stay with her until she could get on the bus because she feared for her safety due to the male’s behavior. She also wanted officers to be aware she was not violating the terms of the protection order by being near the male.

An officer responded to speak with the juvenile who said she got into an argument with the complainant’s daughter over a boy. She was advised to keep the peace with the complainant and the family.

The caller works for a tow company that is contracted through the apartment complex. The caller advised he was attempting to tow the vehicle for parking in an improper parking space per the apartment. He advised when he was lifting up the vehicle to tow it, the female owner came out of the apartment and got into her vehicle and drove it off of the tow truck. Officers located the female’s vehicle, and she advised she didn’t know what was going on because she was up to date with car payments. She advised she was visiting a friend and did not know of private parking tow away zones or see any signage. The female advised she drove off because she was scared of this unknown company taking her car. On her vehicle there was damage to the rear bumper. As of now the tow truck does not have any damage. Both parties were provided the report number for civil purposes at this time.

The caller is a mother who stated that her daughter just passed her house and was heading to the police station because her ex-boyfriend is following her. The daughter stated she was leaving work at Cleveland Clinic when her ex-boyfriend began following her with his vehicle brights on, and he was attempting to run her off the road. The female stated she was in fear for her safety and was planning on going downtown to obtain a protection order in the morning. She was escorted to her mother’s house without incident. The ex-boyfriend did respond to the police lobby soon after officers cleared and requested an escort to get some clothing. A plan was made to do the escort on Sunday. He was advised to stop following/harassing the female.

A male with a gun is chasing another male, and is now in the Northfield Club Apartments. The caller watched the males run from BP to the apartments. The caller advised the male in the white shirt has a large handgun. The caller advised the police are at the correct building. The suspects were gone upon arrival of officers.

The officer spoke to the complainant who advised that when he arrived at work he observed the male with all of his shopping carts and junk all over the place. He stated that the male wanted to sell him some things, and that he was going to buy something from him. The complainant stated that he offered the male some food, and the male became aggressive towards him. He stated that the male threatened to shoot him. The complainant stated that he would pursue trespassing charges against the male since he returned again. Officers were out with the male suspect and another male on the side of the building. The other male was trying to help the suspect by getting him a ride. The suspect became loud and would not comply with officers instruction to stop his disruptive behavior. He was arrested for disorderly conduct. Once at the jail, the disruptive male advised the jail staff that he was assaulted by the Bedford Police. The jailer advised that, because of the accusation, the male would need to be medically cleared. A squad was called. The male was transported to the hospital. Per the Solon Police, since the male was not arrested for any violence, they did not see a need to have him returned to the jail.

Upon officers’ arrival, the female locked herself in a closet and refused to speak with officers or come out. The caller and other family members were advised that she established residence, and they could evict her through the courts. All parties were advised to stay away from each other to keep the peace.
