Tuesday, June 18 reports

Caller advised she is across the street from the Mercedes Benz dealership on Broadway. Male wearing a blue shirt, blue hat and white gloves is walking into traffic. Male is in Maple Heights across from Boroski’s Auto Body. The male is EWC with Cleveland Heights. Male was advised to stay out of the street.

Caller states that her daughter broke into her home. Female does not have a key. It is unknown how she made entry, but the resident has cameras. The daughter is still on scene. The female is sitting in a Ford that is blocked in by her mother’s vehicle. The daughter left on Grand Boulevard toward Warrensville Center Road. The daughter left in her vehicle and was not on foot per the officers on scene.

Caller states the front window has a crack in it, and she believes it was shot, but there is no bullet seen.

Caller reports her daughter’s ex-boyfriend came to the house at this address and was trying to fight her. The daughter’s boyfriend waved a gun out of the car. The car is no longer in the area. It drove past the house a few times. There were four males in the car. Caller not sure, but believes it was a gun. Officers out to try to make contact with other party involved.

Caller states a laptop and about $800 were taken from her car. It was parked in back of the apartments.

Caller states there is a male and female yelling and screaming at each other. She could not tell me what apartment, nor what floor it was on. The male and femamle from and earlier theft report were airing out their grievances.

Male states that he had another male staying at his house while he was fixing up the property, and the male stole a bunch of power tools.

The caller just got home. The side door window is broken and the house is open. She has not been in the house. The female will be waiting in her car.

Manager states that an employee is threatening him. He is in the caller’s face and is refusing to leave. The employee was terminated. It is unknown if weapons are involved. Male employee is out in front of the store.

Caller advised there is a vehicle parked in the roadway near her home that is playing loud music. Caller cannot see the car from her home but states the music has been playing for over an hour. The driver/owner of the vehicle was advised. This was a valid complaint.

Caller reports a male outside yelling on the corner. Checks OK. It is a verbal family dispute, with nothing physical. Parties were advised.

Employee advised there is a male at the store who was seen stealing pop. The 40-to-50-year-old male is being aggressive with employees and walking in the kitchen area.

Thursday, June 20 reports

Someone smashed a window, broke into the building and crashed some cars. Employee is standing by for officers.

Male is hitting a female in a car. Female is trying to leave. Caller reports the male was waiting for her in the main parking lot. The female is in the driver’s seat and the male is leaning into the car beating her. Female lives in the building. Male has previous history of violence. No names known. Male is yelling now and not allowing female to leave. He is not hitting her anymore at this time. Officer is out with male. The female left for work and the male was advised not to contact the female any further.

Someone broke into her car and left a pack of socks and removed items from her glove box. Officer found some of her items on the street in front of the Tavern on Broadway.

Caller is a neighbor and can hear a lot of yelling and fighting coming from the apartment. Two males live there with their parents. There were previous calls, and one of the males owns firearms. It was verbal argument at this time and checks OK.

Male took a vehicle on an unfunded loan. The office has been attempting to call/text him to return the vehicle

Location: Turney Road (Bedford Place Apartments)
A male in the carports just stood there when caller pulled in. This is caller’s carport and he does not know the male and does not know why he is there. The male is wearing a hoodie and jeans. Medina County will pick him up before 10 p.m. at our jail. Officer advised he is in route to jail with the male.

Caller states there appears to be drug activity going on at this location. The caller saw a male get into a brown Toyota with the driver, and there appeared to be a hand-to-hand exchange. The male then got out. Caller did not see specifically what was exchanged. They’re both still on the street in front of this address. When the officer arrived, the vehicle was found unoccupied.

Caller could hear another conversation while on her phone and she heard someone say there was going to be a bomb that goes goes off at 10 p.m. She doesn’t know where or who was on the line. She heard this while talking with someone else at the same time. Caller states she isn’t at home at this time. She was advised to call back when she is home or stop by the Bedford Police Station when she is in Bedford. She stated she isn’t in Bedford right now. 

Friday, June 21 reports

Caller advised of a suspicious vehicle that just turned lights on, getting ready to leave, no plate. Male and female talking in vehicle. They were advised of the park hours.

Complaint about loud music coming from a red truck. Officer advised owner of complaint. Owner will turn it down.

There is damage to the back glass window that possible occurred on Wednesday night. It is unknown if anything has been stolen. There was an attempt to steal the truck in the garage. The building is being used for storage at this time.

Caller is a passer-by and states that he saw a large amount of graffiti on the old Finast building. Officer spoke with the complainant.

Location: W. Grace Street (Northcoast Community)
Caller states this is a group home, and a male client is getting out of control. He is being violent and throwing items. There are no weapons involved. The male is a 28-year-old, and he is fighting with three staff members. There are no injuries. Officer advised staff is requesting squad for the male. Male is being transferred to the hospital.

About a year or two ago, a male was stealing from the store, and now he is back. He has come into the store today about six times, and the caller wants him to be advised to stay away. He just left, wearing an orange Browns hat. He is a short male in his 70s. He is headed on foot toward Columbus Street. He did not steal anything today, but caller wants him to be advised he is not welcome any more. The complainant was advised to contact the police the next time he returns.

Caller states that for the last hour loud music has been coming from inside of the nearby house. No loud music was heard upon officer arrival. An officer spoke with the resident who denied having music on. He was advised of the complaint.

Female would like to speak with an officer regarding her husband. She states that he has been acting very strange lately. He has been verbally aggressive with her and has pushed her. Male is not currently there. Caller told him he is not allowed to come home. She would like to speak with officers about getting a protection order. She states that he takes prescribed opiods and they are causing him to become more aggressive. She also advised that he stole thousands of dollars out of her account that he is not on. Officer advised there is no answer at the residence. He requests a call to her be made. Dispatch attempted to call, but the phone just rang with no voicemail option.

Someone is threatening the caller and he would like to file a report.
The male is not on scene, but caller states that he will be there when caller gets out of work. He has previously threatened caller before.

Caller states that she has has video footage of her neighbor slamming his lawn mower up against her vehicle.

Caller states she is walking by the house and the outdoor spigot is running. The house appears to be vacant, and it looks as if the water has been running for a long period of time. The caller is no longer in the area. Officer advised he shut the water off. Nobody was home.

Male and female are arguing and breaking windows. The caller is upstairs with a child. The arguing couple is outside.

Saturday, June 22 reports

Location: Turney Road
Anonymous caller states that there is a vehicle in the parking lot blasting her music. Caller states that the same female does this every night. All was quiet upon officer’s arrival. She was advised of complaint.

Caller states there is some sort of party going on. There are two cars backed into the area. Music is coming from the apartment at a loud volume, along with several people talking at a high volume for the middle of the night. Caller does not need to speak with officers. Residents advised of complaint and will comply.

Officer calling for units to Rockside Road and Broadway Avenue. Broken glass noticed at the front door. The safety company are receiving an alarm at the front door. Key holder on scene.

Caller wants her 34-year-old daughter escorted off the property. Officer said mother and daughter were advised of civil evictions and domestic violence laws. Female left the apartment.

Caller states she dropped off her car to have work done and someone hit her car in the lot and it looks like it’s been semi-repaired. The paint is rippled and cracked on the rear bumper of the car. Caller will wait in front of the auto shop to speak to an officer. The caller is not the owner of the car, but the owner is with her

Caller states there is a male and female at the corner arguing and pushing each other. The male is beating the female and advising he is going to kill her. They are outside. The male is physical and trying to pull her into the home. No weapons are seen. There is an infant in the car in the driveway. Officer states the female has left.

Caller states he thinks there is drug activity. A person in a gray Pontiac is handing off something to a male standing outside of car. No other information is available. The caller hung up and refused to give information.

Location: Avalon Drive
Loud music and loud people are coming from a house on the corner. Resident was advised of complaint. Later (12:20 a.m.) caller stated that after the police left, noise at the house increased. And persons there insulted the police and said, “We have guns too.” Officers returned, and a male on scene was advised again to turn the music down. It is a large house party. Any further noise complaints will be logged and followed up with tomorrow due to large crowd. 

Sunday, June 23 reports

Officer checking on a vehicle at dealership. Persons were car shopping. They were advised to leave the property. Checks ok.

Caller states party-goers are still out screaming and playing music. Caller can hear people at the party saying things about the neighbors. Caller states they turn the music down when police are there and then about 10 minutes later they turn the music up and start the yelling again. Follow up. Printed to station.

An 11-year-old struck her mother several times in the face. Mother also slapped her in her face for disrespecting her. No injuries or weapons reported. They are both outside now and a friend has a hold of the daughter.

Caller states she just returned from being out of town this weekend. Her side door was open on the house with no visible damage to the door. Female states her bedroom light was on. Her daughter was in and out of the place while caller was gone. Caller is in the driveway in her car. Officer advised the house checks secure.

Caller states that there are people running around outside at a residence in the area. They are running around yelling and playing with flashlights. Caller could not elaborate if the yelling was in an arguing manner, or if they were just partying, as she was in her bedroom. Officer drove down Logan Street and no one was outside. The noise started back up, so officer returned. Officer advised this is a child’s birthday party, and the adult will be bringing them back inside for the night. 

Monday, June 24 reports

Officer advised there is a person walking in the cemetery heading towards the service garage. The person is wearing a white shirt and black pants. He is by the kennels now. Officer has him on the Broadway Avenue side.

Female caller’s brother is beating on the door. Caller tossed his property out of the house yesterday. She claims her brother beat her up on Friday. She was asked to meet the police outside the home. Caller worked things out with her brother and he left the home. Units cleared.

Caller said her brother is back banging on the door. The male just left in a blue Chevy It is unknown which direction. Officers checked the surrounding area and were unable to find a vehicle matching that description. Female did not see her brother banging on the door, but “knows it’s him” and claimed she was beaten up by him on Friday. She was advised to seek a civil protection order and to call if he returns. The female did appear somewhat intoxicated.

Party reporting a female provided false information on a loan for a 2016 Toyota. She has the car. They have attempted to call her several times and are unable to reach her to have the car returned.

Female caller is in the lobby for a report. Over the weekend, the complainant advises the father of her children attacked her. She does not need medical attention at this time.

Caller states receiving $1000 in counterfeit bills.

Caller believes the vehicle that is involved in the Amazon package theft just left the Circle K heading north on Broadway Avenue. The Ford has no plates and damage on the driver’s side. Officers checked, but unable to locate vehicle.

Location: Northfield Road
Caller advising his brother is trying to hurt him. Male caller has locked himself in his room. Caller could be heard screaming at the male in the background. He is not speaking to dispatch. Just the caller and his brother are n the home. There was a fight over a knife. It is unknown why the other male party cut himself on the knife. The knife is in the caller’s room on the floor. The caller is still locked in his room, and his palm was sliced by the knife.

Caller states there is someone in their car in the garage. Caller did not see them, but his wife did. The caller and his wife are inside the house, and are scared to go outside. The vehicle is still in the garage and there is a male wearing a hoodie. Officers state Santin Circle to the dead end checks OK. Officers stated a neighbor noticed a dark blue sedan about four houses down they had never seen in the area. Officers unable to locate male or vehicle at this time.
