Officers responded to Broadway Avenue for a suspicious vehicle on private property occupied by three. Officer made contact and detained the driver on his warrant with Bedford Heights. A probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle due to marijuana in plain sight. A loaded firearm and additional marijuana were located in the vehicle along with nine counterfeit $20 bills and shell casings. Male was placed under arrest for improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and returned to the Bedford jail. Vehicle was towed.

Caller requesting to speak with an officer about text messages he has been getting this morning. The messages are saying that if he doesn’t comply with the caller’s demands that the FBI will come to his house and arrest him. He stated that it’s freaking him and the person he lives with out. The complainant stated that he deleted all the messages. He was advised to ignore future ones and block the contact if possible to relieve the stress of dealing with the scammers.

Employee states there were shoplifters in the store about five minutes ago. The male and female might have been on foot. The male stole some kind of over-the-counter medication.

Caller reports 7-year-old grandson was choked by her daughter’s boyfriend. Medic refused. She stated it occurred four or five days ago. A hit confirmation report was sent to the Solon Police Department for their warrant on the boyfriend. The warrant is good per the Solon Police Department. Officer will transport to the Solon jail. Advised male has been dropped off at the Solon jail.

Female stated there were two male solicitors saying they were from the Illuminating Company and asked to see her bill. Caller did not see any identification and just wanted to see if they were really from the company. The area was checked, and the men were gone upon officer arrival.

Male approached the caller with a knife. Caller does not know the male, he just approached him, and the male started yelling at him while holding the knife. The caller took off to get away. The male reached into the car window with the knife. The caller is not injured. He has to go pick up his son, and then he will come to the police department to make a report. An officer viewed the video and was unable to see the incident. The officer will wait for the caller to come into the station to make a report.

Caller in the parking lot states there are four males assaulting another male. No weapons are seen. The fight is all just physical, and caller does not believe an ambulance is needed. A second caller reported the same occurrence. Officer arrived and reported there was no victim. The males advised that they were play fighting.

Male was beating a pregnant female. Witness is still at Gas Way. The male was punching her with his fists. The first plate info the witness gave was out of Cleveland.

Caller believes someone is inside her house. The noise came from upstairs. The caller can see kids on bikes in the street now. It is unknown if this is related. Juveniles are running from the area towards Broadway Avenue. There are about five of them, and some ran from a house across the street. The caller was asleep in the living room and heard the original noise upstairs. An officer is out with kids on Talbot Drive. The house checks OK inside and out. Caller called back to advise she needs an officer right now for her report. She was advised that the officers are handling a situation, and they will respond to her house when finished.

Caller states her husband’s sugar is out of control and he is arguing with her. There are no weapons, and no drugs or alcohol involved per the caller. It is all verbal. She states he does not need an ambulance. The male is standing in the living room at this time, and they have stopped arguing. The disturbance was settled by the police department. The male is going to stay at his sister’s for a few days.

Male left in a Dodge Charger and hasn’t returned since 2:30 p.m. The driver has a dealer tag. They advised him they closed at 5 p.m. The male attempted to trade in a vehicle that he stated was shot up at Kelly’s Towing. The male is showing EWW with Bedford – showing CCW charges. The business called back and wanted to speak with an officer again. The male is supposed to meet the girlfriend in five minutes to return the vehicle. One male in custody

Location: Forbes Road and Northfield Road
Officers responded reporting two females fighting in the street. The listed parties were observed fighting in the middle of the southbound lanes of Northfield Road just north of Forbes Road. Both were intoxicated and issued summonses for disorderly conduct. One female tore up her summons and refused to leave the scene with a sober party when instructed, and she continued swearing loudly. She was returned to the Bedford jail and was charged with disorderly conduct. She was released from the jail when sober.

Female states that there is someone in her house. She ran out of the house and is in her car. She heard a noise and also heard someone walking around. There are suspicious vehicles outside, and she is unsure how they got in. She just heard someone walking around. She will be waiting in a KIA. The female set the alarm off to try to scare the suspect. Officers arrived and are making entry.

Officers responded to the listed address for the report of fireworks being discharged. Upon arrival, officers observed debris from the fireworks just behind the aluminum fence on the concrete driveway. The witness to the complaint completed a written statement. The resident was issued a summons for possessing/discharging fireworks.

About two minutes ago there was a male that was pulling handles on car doors in the parking lot. He did make entry into a female’s vehicle. He took something, but he gave it back because he got caught. He left on foot on Broadway Avenue. Male is cutting through the nearby backyards. Caller’s mother’s ex-boyfriend is sitting outside. He is intoxicated and was trying to get into the residence. He is currently in the backyard and is refusing to leave. There are no weapons involved. The mother is inside the house and is scared. The caller is in a car in the driveway.

Caller was awakened by a noise coming from under the house that sounded like banging. The caller has no pets. It’s only she and her grandson at home, and he is asleep in the bedroom. The resident was advised it appears to be an animal issue and to contact animal control in the morning.

Employee reporting a tan Mercury was parked next to the building. The occupants were asked to leave, and now they are parked by a broken pump. The vehicle is occupied by two males, and the males appear to be in their early 20s. Officer arrived and found the listed male was meeting the previous owner to purchase the vehicle. He was waiting in the parking lot for the other party to arrive. The male was advised of the complaint and sent on his way.

Caller, who is not on the scene, stated that there is a father on the scene who is trying to pick up two children. The mother of the children says the caregiver can’t release the kids to him. There is no information on the male, but he should be the only male currently on the property. No vehicle description. Maple Heights Police confirmed EWW for the suspect. Officer will transport the male to the Maple Heights jail.

Caller states that a male showed up on his doorstep identifying himself as the caller’s neighbor and lifted his shirt up to show a small black firearm in his right pocket. At this time the caller shut the door and the male left in an unknown direction or means of travel. The male stated he lived behind the caller. Caller states the male had an aggressive tone at the time of his introduction. Caller advised he is also armed. He advised he will be placing his firearm in the kitchen drawer. The other subject involved in this was located at a nearby apartment.

Caller states his girlfriend hit him in the face and slashed his tires. Caller is outside in the back parking lot, and the female is inside the apartment. The male is declining an ambulance. The female did use a knife to slash his tires, unknown if she still has it. The male was advised to wait in his car. He stated the female came back outside and is coming at him, unknown if she has the knife. The female is walking in and out of the back door of the apartment building. She was last seen walking back into the building. No drugs or alcohol use involved.

Caller states that her 12-year-old son attending summer school at the high school is being bullied. Female is currently in the lobby of the police department to make a report.

A gentleman wanted to report the theft of typewriter and some other items. Dispatch called Woodside Village. Employee said the male has dementia. She felt he never owned a typewriter. The male called again about the theft. Dispatch spoke to employee who said she will again try and handle the matter internally. The male called again stating the police never came. Officer stated he will send someone or respond himself. The male was advised about the misuse of 9-1-1. Staff also spoke to him about bringing up any concerns with staff first, and then they will determine if police are needed.

Anonymous party reporting a male with gray hair was telling people he was going to kill them. No weapons were seen. Caller left the bar. The male was on the back patio in a gray t-shirt and jeans. He announced he was going to kill people. Complainant called back and wanted to speak with officers. He is at Giant Eagle. He was advised to come to the station when he is sober. Complainant called back to say a woman and the gray-haired male that threatened him stole his clothing — three shirts, three shorts and three pairs of undies. He was advised to add it to his complaint when he comes into the station tomorrow to make a report.

Caller hears what she believes is someone physically fighting. She stated it sounds like a male and a female. She cannot make out what they are saying. It sounds like female is being slammed or dragged. Officer arrived and parties said it was nothing physical. The male gathered his things and left for the night.

Caller states that sometime today somebody broke into the car and stole a wallet. Caller says things were moved around, but does not notice anything else missing. Caller is inside the apt right now. It’s unknown how the suspect got in. There is white powder on the door.

Female calling stating a male is attempting to kick in the front door. Male is still there. Male is the father of the caller’s child. The female hung up. Call back from dispatch went straight to voicemail. She called back and advised that the male in question lives in Garfield Heights. She doesn’t know the address.

Caller advised there is a group of five or six teenage males climbing on the resident’s second floor balcony. They are on the second building, on the Broadway Avenue side. Subjects have been in the area for about 20 minutes. The males climbed up to the second floor balcony from the exterior of the building. Juveniles were gone upon arrival of officers.

A female was assaulted by a male. Male is punching caller’s sister in the face. Caller stated the male pulled a knife on her. He does not have the knife at this time. He is a 33-year-old male. Officers now have male in custody.

Employee who was fired made threats to the owner yesterday. The threats involved the former employee returning to the property to assault the owner. The male stated he would be showing up today. Owner is at the business.

Sometime yesterday or early this morning, an unknown vehicle collided with a car causing damage to the driver’s side door. An officer spoke with the neighbor directly across the street. The males possibly knocked over a garbage can on Washington. The three juveniles were gone upon officer arrival. There does not appear to be any damage. Caller states that someone just let off a firework in their front yard. The person was in a small SUV. Last night there was a young man in a SUV that was sitting out in front of their yard, and when he saw the caller’s husband, the male yelled “f-you.” The SUV from today went towards Warrensville Center Road. The caller states that they couldn’t tell what color the SUV was tonight. Caller would like to speak with officers regarding these incidents. The complainant was concerned about the SUV possibly targeting them for unknown reasons. The SUV was gone on arrival when officers came to the house. The complainants will contact the police should they see it again.

Employee reporting two teen males walking slowly through the parking lot around vehicles. One is on a bike. One has on a black hoodie with a black bandana. One male has been walking back and forth between the parking lot and the China Dragon restaurant. Males are currently by the restaurant by the telephone pole. Officers out with six juveniles. Area checked OK.

Caller states that she and her parents were verbally arguing, and now her mother is refusing to the daughter her keys. No alcohol and no weapons are in the home. Caller will be waiting outside for the officers. The female daughter is going to stay in her room for the night.

Officer is out with two males at this location. Officer observed two juvenile males wearing dark clothing walking in the street. For reasonable suspicion, both males were ID’ed. Both males were valid and lived in the area and were heading to the store for food. Checks OK. They were advised of curfew.

Mom’s ex-boyfriend is outside in the front yard. He threatened one of the children in the home. The male is walking towards McKinley Avenue. He has the female’s keys and cell phone. The female thinks he has a vehicle in the area, because she heard a car door slam, but she cannot see the vehicle and does not know what the male drives. Officer will attempt to call the male on station and complete.

Caller reports a male and female have been walking back and forth for about 30 minutes pointing at houses. They are now near Broadway and Taylor Road. Caller does not wish to speak to officers. An officer is out with the parties across from Bedford Cemetery. It checks OK. The two people were pointing at deer. They are waiting for a tow truck to come for their vehicle.

Caller advised her 41-year-old boyfriend who lives with her is drunk and belligerent. The male will not leave her alone and keeps calling her profanities. Male is intoxicated, but nothing physical has occurred. The male does own two handguns that are in the basement of the home. Male was identified as someone who has an EWW in Twinsburg for an OVI. The female called her sister for a ride and will leave for the night.

On the opposite side of the Meadowbrook lot, there are two semis that have been parked there at least two weeks, and caller said it’s scary. Officers found numerous semis in the lot. Checked OK since it’s private property.

Three people are outside arguing. It is only verbal at this time, and no weapons can be seen. A female is arguing with contractors. The female is inside of the house and away from the contractors now.

Employee is advising that there is an irate customer in the lobby that assaulted him. Employee states that the male shoved him as the employee was walking away. It was a minor mutual altercation between the caller and customer. The customer left and was advised he is no longer welcome on the property.

Male from the earlier report has returned. He is back outside the building wanting to come in and get his stuff. Caller doesn’t see him, but he keeps calling her to let him in. Officer is in the lot with a female passed out. Checks OK. Officers located the male. The male is EWW with Lyndhurst. Confirmation was sent. A warrant was confirmed. The male will be transported to the Lyndhurst jail.
