Male reported another employee just assaulted him by punching him. The male is currently in a nearby van. No medic needed. The suspect has left the scene. The victim will come to the station to make the report and complete a statement.

Caller would like an officer for a theft report. She believes an employee is stealing her personal items. Caller stated it is too early for a report at this time and will call back later.

Forbes Road and Interstate 271 Southbound
Caller stated he is off the right side of the road closer to Forbes Road and the other car spun on the left. He doesn’t see it and doesn’t have a description. It does not appear the second vehicle stayed on scene. The accident happened prior to Solon Road Bridge on Interstate 271, so the caller was advised to contact Bedford Heights. An officer will assist the party in getting to the Bedford Heights Police Department.

Caller states that his grandsons are having an argument.  Both males are pushing each other, but no weapons or drinking is involved. The caller states that he wanted police to come over before the males tear up the house. The males were advised to stay away from each other for the rest of the night. One of the males has a ride en route to pick him up.

Officers spoke to a female complainant who was verbally arguing with her elderly father about his living conditions related to the coronavirus, since he does not clean up after himself and does not cover his mouth when he coughs. Parties were advised to stay away from each other. The elderly male was advised to take proper precautions for the virus.

Caller states he is not sure if a Spectrum representative is allowed to solicit in the area but a person just left his house in a Ford towards Broadway Avenue. He wants to have an officer check just to make sure he has a permit.

Broadway Avenue
A male is in the police lobby to report a hit/skip that happened in front of the Twisted Tomato Pizzeria. He said his car was stopped while traveling northbound on Broadway Avenue waiting to make a left turn into the Twisted Tomato. The second car attempted to go around his car by passing to the left. The second car then struck the side of the first car as it passed. The second car then continued north on Broadway Avenue.

An officer spoke with the male complainant who stated his ex-girlfriend from another state is sending emails to companies pretending to be him. He stated she is applying for jobs under his name just to harass him. He has blocked her on all other forms of social media. The officer contacted the girlfriend and she admitted to doing this and stated she will stop doing it. She was advised if she continues this she will have a warrant signed against her. She understood and stated she is deleting the account.

Caller states the incident occurred before Exit 23 Broadway Avenue and Forbes Road.  The suspected vehicle was a gold Chevy that was headed south on Interstate 271. The caller is pulled over on the left shoulder of the highway in a silver Kia. The airbag is deployed, but there are no injuries. The caller’s friend is behind him.

A male is putting slips of paper in doors. The female caller is concerned because of the coronavirus that he is actually touching the doors and he should be advised to stop. She said the male spoke with a neighbor as well. The male was advised.

Female got a call from her aunt that her boyfriend was beating her. The female got there, and the aunt said she cannot come outside. The aunt and the boyfriend had an argument over the aunt’s son living with them. The son is disrespectful and they differ on how he should be punished. The boyfriend was going to gather some items and leave for the night to keep the peace.

While on perimeter security for a funeral detail, an officer scraped up against a high curb in the lot of Dollar General across from Evergreen Cemetery. Photos were taken of the damage to the passenger side running board of the unit.

A male is in the police lobby, and he would like to speak with an officer in reference to a custody dispute. He reports the mother of his children dropped the kids off unexpectedly today, and she said she would pick them up when, “She felt like being a parent again.” The caller was concerned because his son has been sick, and the father did not want him at the house until he felt better. He wanted this information on file for future court dates.

Mortimer Driver (Willard House Apartments)
The resident states someone hit the door so hard that it opened the deadbolt. She did not see anyone, and no one gained entry. She was able to re-lock the door. She said she doesn’t see anyone through the peephole, but she heard someone run down the hallway. Officer spoke to the complainant who advised that she heard a loud crash on her door as if someone was attempting to gain entry. The officer checked the deadbolt which seemed to be working properly and would not extract back into the door when hit. No damage to the door frame or marks on the exterior of the door were seen. The complainant was advised to contact management about getting a hotel-type clasp for the door as added protection. There are no cameras in the area.
