The complainant said sometime last night an unknown subject(s) went into her husband’s unlocked car and took his black leather wallet. There were several credit cards in the wallet. The cards were canceled before any charges were made on them. No other items were taken from the car. Later the husband inquired about his Social Security card that was turned in this morning. The card was located on Harriman near Central School. The husband is going to check the area to see if he can locate any of the items from his wallet. He advised unknown person(s) located his wallet and placed it on his porch.

Unknown person(s) entered the complainant’s unlocked vehicle and took a tablet (valued at $115.00), a Canon digital camera (unknown value) and the complainant’s purse, which contained her driver’s license, debit card, Ohio Direction card and $300.00 cash.

Complainant stated that a customer came into the branch to withdraw money from her account. The customer had deposited a check in the ATM on Sunday and per the complainant, the check needs 72 hours before the funds become available. The complainant stated that he attempted to advise the customer of the of the bank policy, but she began to yell while other customers were there. The complainant advised the customer that he could not access the ATM if there were people inside the bank. The customer continued to yell. The complainant advised the customer that she needed to leave the branch because she was causing a disturbance. The customer stated that she was not leaving and sat down near the front of the branch. She said she was going to record everything. The complainant stated that if she refused to leave, that he would call the police. The complainant advised his boss at the Garfield Heights branch of the incident and was told he could call the police. While the complainant was on the phone with the dispatcher, the customer left. It is believed that she was enroute to the Garfield branch. The complainant said he would like the customer to be advised that she is not welcomed to come into the Bedford branch until further notice is given by the main branch. Officer called the customer and spoke to her about the incident. She provided her account of the incident which mostly matched the complainant’s version. The customer advised that she was upset that three checks had not cleared because the hold that was placed on her deposit. The customer stated that while she was talking with the Garfield branch they advised her to come to their location and they would handle the problem. The customer stated that she left the Bedford branch to take care of the problem. The officer advised the customer that the Bedford branch did not want her to return to that location until the main branch cleared the issues. The customer stated that she would comply.

Caller states her daughter attacked her on Sunday. The complainant said that she was arguing with her daughter about some parenting issues. She could tell that her daughter was becoming more agitated and upset as time went on. The complainant said that she was trying to stay away from her daughter and was putting her grandson to bed. Her daughter came at her and started yelling at her again. Her daughter then grabbed her hand and hyperextended her ring finger on her left hand. The complainant slapped her across the face with an opened hand. Her daughter came at her again and begin choking her. The daughter’s husband stepped in pulling them apart. The complainant said her daughter has not been taking her medications since getting pregnant and having the baby two months ago. She said this is the main reason for her out-of-control and angry behavior. The complainant does not want to press charges at this time, but wanted to make a report because she feel things are going to get worse.

Caller states a male got into a dispute and kicked a female and her two children out of the house and changed the locks. The children are 3-year-old and 3-month-old. Caller is the female’s uncle. He would like an officer to call him once the situation is clear. He advised he opened his home to the woman and the children. Officer will try to make contact with the male and get him to open the door. Officer arrived at the house and male in custody.

Someone threw a brick through window of vehicle. Unknown when it happened. This is the window of vehicle parked in driveway. Caller suspects a certain male. The male that caused the damage arrived back at the scene. The male will sleep in his friend’s vehicle for the night. Photos were taken and attached. A statement form was left for the complainant to complete and sign before charges are pursued. The complainant was intoxicated at the time of the call.

Employee reported property damage at the business. Officers spoke to the caller who stated sometime in the past few weeks, person(s) unknown have been tampering with their property. Caller states that a shock was taken off of a semi, and a bracket on a mirror of a semi was taken off and now is missing. The caller stated that an employee was recently fired, and he believes the company she now works for is doing the damaging. The caller would just like a report made and kept on file just in case this continues.

Caller just arrived home to find she’s been burglarized. Someone entered through a front window. Caller has been inside already and found her apartment in disarray. She was advised to wait outside for police.

Caller states her ex-husband just kicked her door in and left. The male does own guns. Unknown if he has them on him. He drives a white truck. Caller did not see which way he went or if he is still in the area. She also states he was there earlier throwing rocks at her house. Truck located. Out with male.

Male on station to report that he was assaulted by a student today while substituting. A student threw a TV remote at him and hit him in the head. The injury was tended to by the school nurse and the school suspended the juvenile. The teacher did not want to pursue any charges, but did want the incident documented.

Caller states her car has been stolen. she has not seen it since 10 p.m. She believes she may have left the keys in the car or dropped them near the car. The repo and tow files were checked with nothing found as of yet. Vehicle was returned the next day, driven by her 16-year-old nephew without owner’s permission.

Sometime overnight someone got into the store and took money out of the unlocked manager’s office. No signs of forced entry anywhere in the restaurant.

Complainant called to advise that a 39-year-old male was not breathing and he was turning blue. Unknown if he has taken anything. Complainant is attempting to do CPR. States she knows CPR and doesn’t want help, but she is only talking to him and asking him what he took. Male has a weak pulse. Upon officer arrival male was on the ground, blue and not breathing. Narcan administered and CPR started. Taken to Bedford Medical Center. One female in custody.

The complainant came on station to report getting threatening phone calls from a female he knows. He knows the female from social media, but does not know her last name. She unfollowed him on social media, then started calling him non-stop. She threatened to have someone come over to his house to shoot him. The female does not know where he lives. He was advised to call if he finds out more information on her or has any other issues with her. The phone number was run, but did not return with anything.

The complainant said that she has never received her package valued at $150. The Post Office said the package was delivered. She believes the package was stolen from her front door area after it was delivered. The Post Office advised her to make a report of the missing package.

The complainant reported an issue with an ex-employee. He fired an employee and now the employee thinks he is owed money. The complainant did not want the other male contacting him anymore. Both parties were advised not to contact each other and of civil options. Complainant called again receiving threatening messages from ex-employee officer advised. The complainant and his wife were advised to block the numbers and contact the Police Department should any other issues come up. None of the texts were threatening.

Caller states he has received three calls from someone and they are not saying anything on phone. The number was called and officer spoke with an elderly women in Florida. She was unaware of the call. She did say she earlier tried to call a loan company in the 440 area code. Possibly a wrong number dialed. Complainant was advised.

A female’s loan didn’t go through. They called her multiple times and she refused to bring car back. They ended up repossessing it this morning and dropped it off at the lot. The female then just came back and took it from lot with the keys. The repo guy said they were giving him a hard time when he took it and refusing to give up the keys. Officers checked address for the vehicle. The female said that she was in the car and en route to the police station now to tell her side of the story. Female later stated she was bringing the car back to the dealership when they open in the morning.

Officer spoke with the complainant who stated that he had been continually harassed through the “WhatApp” app. The complainant was advised to screenshot the text messages and send them over via email. Follow-up is necessary to determine possible charges.

Officers spoke to the complainant who stated that he suspects that his neighbors across the street are harassing him. He stated that he does not know for sure if it’s them or not who are texting him, but he believes it is because of a dispute that they recently were in. The male states that the text that they sent said, “I am watching you and I see you.” Officers advised the male of his options and to keep his distance from them. Officers also advised him that if they start to threaten him then to call the police.

Female started receiving phone calls and text messages from an unknown male yesterday. He is continuing to call her and text her. She would like to speak with an officer. Female has two phones — a work and personal phone. When she blocked him on her personal phone, he began calling her work phone. Officer tried calling the male but only got voice mail. The complainant was advised to just ignore the phone calls and block the number if it continues.

Complainant just heard slider open and it’s now open and her purse is gone. A male was seen running through backyards. Caller’s purse is black with shoulder strap that crosses chest area. Contains credit cards. Officer on Broadway Avenue toward Rockside Road. Officers informed that a male matching the description walked into Circle K. Officers checked at Circle K. Clerk advised no one matching that description came inside the store.

A 16-year-old and an 18-year-old are verbally arguing. The mother is also getting involved. She will keep them separated until officers arrive. Officer advised the siblings were given advice for handling domestic arguments.

Complainant is in the lobby for a report of loss/stolen firearm. The complainant stated that her .22 cal rifle with a silver scope was stolen from her house sometime after September 18th. The complainant does not know the brand name or serial number for the firearm. total value of the theft is approximately $200.00. The complainant suspects her son’s friend of taking the weapon. Officer will attempt to follow-up.

The complainant came to the station to report his dirt bike was stolen from his garage. The complainant’s friend contacted him in regards to an offer out of Shaker Heights of a dirtbike matching his own for sale. He checked his garage for his bike and found it was gone. The dirtbike was last seen approximately one week ago in the garage. The complainant had no documentation to prove ownership of the bike. He was advised to compile the needed documentation and to provide a sworn statement before any further police action was possible. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle in leads. It is unclear if the vehicle was ever titled in Ohio. Officers went to speak with complainant and his friend. The owner of the dirtbike provided officers with a written statement and an addendum for a stolen vehicle. The dirtbike was entered into leads.

Female would like to report a protection order violation. It’s not clear exactly where the violation occurred. Complainant stated her mother advised her of a text from the father of her children stating, “Tell your daughter” what he planned on doing through family court. There were no threats in the text toward the complainant. Officer spoke with male and advised him of the court order. He stated he was told by family court in order to complete his paperwork he needed the mother of his children’s information. His intention was only to get this information and he agreed he used the wrong wording. He will try and complete his paperwork with one court and follow the order of another court in the future. He was also advised to hire an attorney to avoid any other miscommunication.

Resident would like an officer to come back to her home. Advised that when the movers were leaving they said, “Hope you have a safe night.” Caller stated it was a threat and would like a report made just in case something happens in the future.

The complainant stated he had a “Romano Draco” gun stolen from his bedroom closet sometime on Tuesday. There was no forced entry to his apartment and he claimed his dad left the apartment open for a few hours. The complainant stated he bought the gun from the Cleveland Armory but does not have any paperwork or serial number. He was given a statement form and the stolen gun addendum to fill out. He was advised to bring the forms to the station when completed to have the gun entered into leads.

Caller’s sister took vehicle a couple of weeks ago or maybe five days ago. The caller had his license suspended after his doctor declared he was unable to drive due to his mental/physical state. Because he is unable to drive his sister took his car away from him. Officer spoke with the caller’s brother via telephone and learned the man is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s. He said the man has been driving even though his license is suspended and they are scared he is going to hurt or kill someone in an accident. He was advised he has to return the car to his brother. He was also told to call his brother and let him know what is going on.

Caller stated that someone opened the window in the back of her home and took $60 worth of quarters from a bowl on his dresser. The entire bowl is missing. Caller does not notice anything else missing. Both the caller and her husband had just gotten home. Officers responded.

Caller’s 27-year-old step-son is being physical with family members. He kicked the door in. Male is refusing to leave. Refusing squad. No weapons. Door is locked. Male is now outside.

Officers spoke with the complainant who stated that the supposed owner of the property he was renting has been harassing him at his work and on his personal cell phone. A report was filed with Cleveland as the caller has harassed the complainant’s father as well. The complainant would not like to pursue charges at the present moment, but was advised to contact police once he decides what route he would like to go with this. Officers also advised the complainant that an attempt would be made to contact the caller and advise her to stop the harassment. An attempt was made to contact the female making the harassments, but a voicemail was left. The number given did not match the number on the voicemail.

Caller had a fight with his girlfriend, police came and left, now his girlfriend came back and took his phone. Officers spoke to both parties and the female was advised to return the phone or she will be charged with theft. She admitted to having the phone and stated that she will bring the phone back tonight. The complainant was advised to call if she does not return the phone by night’s end.

Employee reporting a male in the store for the past 45 minutes who appears intoxicated and can’t stand on his own. Officer responded and said the male was walking home. His auto was left at the Circle K. The male appeared to be slightly disoriented. He stated that he was waiting for his girlfriend to return with money so he could make a purchase. The male refused any medical treatment but was advised that he could not drive at this time. He stated that he would have his girlfriend come get the vehicle.

Caller states her 17-year-old son was home from juvenile for surgery and he just left the house and took her husband’s car. He also has her husband’s phone. Officers spoke with the complainant who is in an ongoing civil dispute with her landlord and her landlord’s mother. Items have been coming up missing in her home and she believes the landlord’s family members have a key and are entering the home when she is away on business. The landlord’s mother has been calling and harassing the complainant about her moving out. Officers spoke with the landlord’s mother who stated she will not contact her anymore and agreed to move the inspection of the residence until after she leaves on 10/5/18.
