I love the convenience of having a cell phone but having a landline has its advantages too. So, if you have a landline, keep it. We can never know what can change in these days and times. I wish I had kept a landline. Just to have.
The cell phone is best if you travel, want to avoid a separate home phone bill, and cheaper nationwide calling plans. Cell phones are good for internet browsing, texting, video calls, and running functional apps.
The landline provides static-free reception that is great for hearing impaired, weather and power reliability, and emergency accuracy. Also good for older family members.
Technology is constantly changing everything in communication. And don’t forget Artificial Intelligence (AI).
