Right now, the Midwest is in a major flooding disaster. There’s more rain to come. The people in the Midwest are devastated. As you all know Bedford/Bedford Heights and surrounding areas experienced a major hailstorm in April this year. We are very fortunate at this time. We have no control over the wrath of mother nature. The flooding has brought all people together in the Midwest. My point is that a major disaster brings people together whether they want to or not. Why can’t people unite without a major disaster? There’s so much anger and tension in the world along with crime, violence etc. I just wonder, why? If we had a major earthquake or any major health outbreak it would end all mankind.
Iceland is ranked as the #1 safest country in the world. It has held the top position on the Global Peace Index published by the Institute for Economics and Peace for many years.
– Low Crime Rate: Violent crime is very rare, and police officers do not carry firearms
– No Standing Army: The country maintains minimal militarization
– Social Equality: High standards of living and strong social trust support a peaceful society.
Iceland doesn’t have corruption in high places. Nothing but peace. That’s absolutely awesome.
