BEDFORD, OH – A powerful hail storm swept through the area Wednesday evening, leaving behind widespread damage across Bedford and neighboring communities.

The storm moved in quickly around 5 p.m., bringing a burst of intense hail that lasted roughly 10 minutes. Hailstones ranged in size from small pellets to as large as golf balls, causing damage in a short but impactful window, according to regional reports.
In Bedford, residents reported dented vehicles, cracked windshields, and broken home windows. Several properties experienced exterior damage, with siding, roofing, and outdoor equipment taking the brunt of the storm.
