Liberty Days will begin with a free outdoor showing of Disney’s Hamilton as the City of Bedford kicks off its three-day America 250 celebration.
Movie on the Square: Hamilton will take place on Friday, July 10, at Bedford Commons, 730 Broadway Ave. Pre-show activities begin at 4:30 p.m., with the movie scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
According to the City’s America 250 Commemorative Event Guide, the evening will feature entertainment and activities for all ages before the movie begins. The film will be projected on a large video wall.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and enjoy an evening of film and family-friendly activities at Bedford Commons. Fresh popcorn will be available for purchase from the Bedford Historical Society Museum.
Hamilton is the opening event of Bedford’s Liberty Days celebration, which continues throughout the weekend with the America Celebration on the Square on Saturday, July 11, and the Elmer Flick Baseball Classic on Sunday, July 12. The three-day event is part of Bedford’s participation in the America 250 celebration commemorating the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary.
Residents and visitors are invited to attend the free event and help kick off a weekend celebrating America’s history and Bedford’s community spirit.
