Charles P. Sorensen, Chagrin Falls, OH (formerly Lake Havasu, AZ), passed away peacefully on May 25,2026 at the age of 75.
Born on August 18, 1950 in Bedford, Ohio, Charles (aka Charlie, Tuna and Chuck) lived his life to the fullest. He graduated from Bedford High School (Ohio) in 1968 and served in the US Army in Vietnam from 1970-1972. Charles spent most of his career both in Ohio and then Arizona in sales. Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing, swimming, golf and spending time with his friends. Charles moved to Lake Havasu, AZ in his late 20’s/early 30’s and eventually relocated back to Ohio in 2018 to be close to family.
He is survived by his brother Keith (Maureen) as well as nieces, nephews and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Phillips and Bessie Sorensen, his brother Neil and sister-in-law Janice.
Per his wishes, a celebration of his life was held on May 29,2026 at his favorite bar/restaurant in Chagrin Falls, OH, where a round of drinks was purchased “on him” for those present.
Charles will be remembered for his great sense of humor, loyalty and his big heart.
