An officer spoke with a female in the lobby for a report of a stolen vehicle. The female stated on Oct. 6, around 1930 hours, she arrived home from a grocery store and took her groceries inside her home. She realized around 20 minutes later that she forgot noodles inside her vehicle. Once she went back outside, she noticed her vehicle was missing from the driveway. The female stated her daughter was home at the time and has taken her vehicle in the past. The female attempted to contact the daughter via her friend, but there was no answer. The female was advised to contact the department tomorrow if the vehicle is not returned. The female advised that her daughter had returned her vehicle later.

The caller states that her sister is destroying her property. She says her sister threw her speaker out into the grass. Both females are staying at their father’s apartment. The caller is 28 and the sister is 35-years-old. There are no weapons involved. The caller had a hard time hearing dispatch or answering questions.

A theft of two cartons of cigarettes occured around 1830. An employee is waiting for the manager to download the video. The complainant stated a short male walked into the store, and he attempted to purchase a pop and two cartons of Newports. The male then distracted the clerk and left with the cigarette cartons. The male was wearing a mask and was not able to be identified. The complainant just wanted this on record in case this male strikes again at another location.

A neighbor took the caller’s debit card last week and went over to Walgreens and used it to spend $300. An officer spoke to the female caller, and the incident was documented. There was no proof of any crimes, it was just a hunch by her.

The hospital had a male walk in with a gunshot wound to the foot. The incident occurred at E. 131 Street and Miles Avenue. The Cleveland Police Department was advised by the hospital. A Bedford officer is not needed.

Solon Road (CVS)
A male is reporting he was parked at CVS all day and when he came out at night his vehicle had been hit and no information was left behind. An unknown vehicle apparently struck the rear driver side quarter panel/tail light of the complainant’s parked vehicle and left the area without reporting it. The owner of the vehicle is an employee of CVS and will check to see if any of the security cameras recorded the event.

A caller wants to report a break in at St. Mary’s Church.  Nothing was taken. The door was broken. Sometime the day before an unknown person(s) forced entry to the locked garage. The door has been repaired already. The caller just wanted the incident documented.

A female caller is reporting threats made by a male. The complainant stated her friend called her and threatened her tonight. An officer called the male, but the number was not valid. The female was given information on how to get a protection order.

The caller states that she looked out the window and saw a male hiding behind her bushes, and one laying in the road. The male in the road jumped up when her brother went outside and she thinks he had a gun. They were last seen headed toward Ennis Street. The caller has no description of them but did see three of them. The area was checked but no one was there.

A delivery driver is reporting that dealer keys were stolen out of his truck. Nine sets of keys on one key ring were taken. They had been left in the delivery truck outside.

A female is requesting to speak to an officer in reference to a male who keeps texting and calling her. An officer spoke with the complainant who stated a male has been stalking her. She stated she saw him yesterday by the bus stop by Walgreens and then again by her apartment complex. The male stated that he is not stalking her, and that he runs errands in that area and visits his sister who lives in the same apartment complex as the caller. The male was advised of the complaint and to avoid the caller, which he agreed to do. The caller was also advised of the phone conversation he had with the police.

A female rented a GMC on Aug. 19. The vehicle was due to be returned on Aug. 21. Numerous demand letters for the return of the vehicle were sent to the female’s address and numerous attempts were made to contact the female. As of Oct. 9, the vehicle has not been returned. The vehicle will be entered into leads as stolen, and the female will be charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

A caller is reporting a son is threatening his mother, and there is a child with them in a car in the driveway. There are apparently no weapons involved. The son may not be on his medication. The child is 8-years-old. The male is now walking in the backyard towards Avalon Drive and Columbus Street. The mother is going to look into options for possible treatment for the son.

A female is in the lobby to report harassment ahead of going to the county to try to get a protection order. She has reported this several times in the past few days with nothing new occurring. She was once again advised how to get a protection order with the county.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Columbus Street for what was originally called in as a possible domestic. Officers arrived and spoke to the female party who was in a hospital gown. She stated her mother and brother were trying to take her home in the car and she does not want to go. She was recently discharged from the emergency room with a clean bill of health. Her mother responded back out to the scene to take the female home and she became violent. She refused to get in the car, began kicking her mother and would frequently go limp so officers had to hold her up. Due to her erratic behavior, the female was returned to the ER and will be transported to a psychiatric facility for an evaluation.

The female stated her ex-boyfriend took her pistol from her nightstand as he left her residence this morning. She is concerned in case he uses her gun in criminal activity, so she made this report. He has a lengthy criminal history involving weapons offenses and multiple active warrants. She was told to go home and call back with the serial number and model number for the gun. She was also told to call if he shows up at her home.

A male customer is telling the caller to go outside so he can “take care of him.” The caller reports the customer told him he has a gun, but the caller did not see a gun. The dispatch can hear the suspect laughing in the background. The suspect is waiting by his Chevy. The officer is advising that the suspect stated that he told the caller to tell dispatch he had a concealed carry permit and had his gun, and that it was a miscommunication. The male customer was upset because he wanted the employee to print a receipt for a refunded purchase of $20. The employee stated that the system did not work that way, and that the money would be put back on the customer’s credit card. The employee was able to print a refund receipt and the suspect was advised that he is no longer welcome at the business.

An employee reports that on Oct. 10, a customer left the store with a PS4 controller valued at $65 without paying. The customer was seen on store security video taking the controller and was identified by her GameStop member card that she used days earlier. An officer made contact with the female, and she returned the controller unopened. The female was advised of trespassing.

A female advised she was in an altercation with her child’s father on Woodrow Avenue. She is at the library. He just walked up to her and spit on her and kept acting like he was going to hit her. The child’s father is now walking towards Burger King. He told a lady who was walking down the street that he was going to beat up the caller. He told the caller that he was going to call his sister to assault her. The male is reportedly an alcoholic. The police are out with the male behind Dollar General. Officers also spoke to the female who advised that she and the male’s mother had words resulting in the male telling her and the children to leave the house. The female stated that she took the children and sat down by the library when the male walked up to them and started to yell. The female stated that the male spit on her and walked away. The male returned and started yelling again and spit on her again. She advised that she was not worried about the male but was requesting a ride to her vehicle. The female and two children are being transported. The male was advised not to speak to the female and to head home.

An employee at the Laundry Basket advised that at around 0630 hours on Oct. 10, a male in his late 50s entered his unlocked house. Nothing was taken. The complainant stated the male had some trouble with a washing machine at the Laundry Basket and was attempting to seek assistance by knocking on his door. The complainant was advised to contact the department if the male returns to the business so he could be trespassed.

An officer spoke with a complainant in the lobby for a report of harassment. The complainant stated her friend received a direct message on Instagram last night around 2200 hours from  a female stating “I’ll make that b—- want to kill herself.” The message was not directly sent to the complainant, and she was advised to block the female on Instagram to prevent any incoming harassing messages that she may receive.

Officers responded for a report of shots fired in the area of Paul Street and Charles Street. The juvenile victim stated that a male juvenile pulled a gun on him and fired one shot which did not strike him. The juvenile victim could not determine if it was an airsoft gun or not.

A female caller reported a male that she knows assaulted her and then left by car. The male is intoxicated. The female is sore but is declining a squad. The caller states the male has assaulted her before.  When officers arrived, the female was intoxicated also and had no visible injuries. She stated she had a protection order out of New York that allowed them to live together but under special instructions which she could not provide. She complained he cracked the screen of her phone. All of the possible bodily injuries and the damage to the phone were documented. She was advised to come to the station if any visible injuries show up at a later time, or if she can detail any possible violations of the protection order.

Officers spoke with the complainant over the phone. She advised that her 10-year-old grandson has been having problems with a boy from his school and on his Xbox account. The boy stated he gave this friend his password to log in to his account when he’s not using it. The friend has now shared this info with several other boys and is taking virtual money from the grandson’s account. The grandson stated they are in the same class and have had issues at school. Officers advised the complainant to have the boy’s mother contact the school in regards to the bullying, and she was also given detailed instructions on how to protect the boy’s accounts.

Officers spoke to a female in the lobby in regards to some harassment her son is receiving online and through text messages. This is in reference to the previous report. The complainant is the child’s mother and she was advised how to proceed with the school and with her sons online accounts.

The caller’s Ring camera caught someone walking down her driveway. The male had a hood on. The caller is afraid to look further and declines to speak with an officer. She just wants the area checked. An officer is out with the male who has a history with another female who lives on Westview Road, and she has made reports in reference to threats. After further investigation, it was learned that the male walked from his house to Westview Road “to see what the female was up to.”  When questioned about why he came here, the male stated “I’ve been drinking tonight and it got me thinking crazy. She has lied on me and messed up my life, and I want to make sure she gets her karma.” The female has no protection order against the male, and the caller had no damage to her property. The male was advised not to return or he will be charged for trespassing.

The caller is home now. She noticed there was a vehicle following her on her way home. The vehicle continued on its way, and the caller was able to get home without the vehicle seeing the caller turn into her driveway. The caller would like officers to check the area for the vehicle. Officers checked the area, but the vehicle was gone.

Officers are out with a suspicious vehicle in the lot of the library. A male at the library advised that the suspicious male that walked away from the vehicle might have been wearing a plaid shirt. The vehicle is entered as stolen out of Cleveland. Officers are clearing the woods between Cowles Avenue and Solon Road. An officer saw a male run into the woods. Shaker Heights Police is responding with a dog. Walton Hills and Oakwood Village were requested for perimeter assistance. The track was completed. Wolfs Cove Apartments is the last location of the track.

An officer is out with a suspicious male at the business. The male was going through the dumpster. He was advised of trespassing and sent on his way.

A resident believes someone was in her apartment at some point when she wasn’t home.  Nothing is missing, just some things have been moved. The female stated her shower curtains were moved from the inside of her tub to the outside of her tub. The female did not see anything missing otherwise.

A caller is reporting that while on a walk he noticed that the “man door” to the garage near St. Mary’s was open. He closed it, but it looked like someone had broken into it at an earlier time. He does not know how to contact the church. He stated it is a garage in an open field.  Officers located the garage and the side door appears to have been forced open, but nothing appears to be missing. The caller stated the garage is owned by St. Mary’s Church. An officer called and left a voicemail for St. Mary’s Church to check the garage for damage or missing items.

A caller reported a U-Haul keeps driving up and down the street. It has done this about five times. The vehicle pulled in her neighbor’s driveway and backed out. The caller thought it was suspicious because an officer had just driven past when they went into the driveway. There are two occupants. An officer checked the area and was unable to locate the U-Haul.

A tall male was standing in front of the caller’s house staring at the sky. The male started walking toward Center Road, and when a car came by, the male hid behind a tree. Officers advise there are two males by the hospital. Officers attempted to stop and speak with a male, but the male refused to talk to the police and kept walking.

The caller is at work and the caller’s daughter is home now and is having an event. The caller advised there are people at the residence they don’t know, and they are refusing to leave. The caller will be calling back with a phone number for someone that is on scene. A female left upon requests.

Aaller advised there is a Ford parked in the apartment complex. It is occupied by a male, and the caller asked why he was parked there. The caller told him he was going to call the police, and the driver said to go ahead. Everything checks OK. The male is part of the maintenance crew.

A male called 911 stating there were people in a vehicle behind the apartment getting intimate.  The caller disconnected and there was no answer on call back. No further information was given.  The same male has called multiple times wanting the police to take pictures of his girlfriend cheating on him. He was told multiple times that this is not a police matter. Dispatch spoke with male about the civil matter. He caught his girlfriend cheating on him in their shared residence, and now he is unhappy that he is stuck in the lease. He has since left and is driving around. He wants officers to catch his girlfriend cheating so he can get out of a lease. This is not a police matter.

A U-Haul trailer with Florida plates has been on the street for the last couple days. The caller said she asked the neighbors, and no one has claimed it. The vehicle was found to be parked legally at this time.

The caller is the manager at a restaurant, and she states she believes a male is stalking her. She states a male keeps calling the store phone, and she believes it is one of the customers that she served last week. The caller would like for an officer to drive through the parking lot. She is unsure what type of vehicle male is driving. The female would like to speak with an officer.

A black car has been sitting on the street for hours at a time for the last few days. Today, the caller walked up to the car and waved at them, and they quickly drove off. It smelled like marijuana. The caller wants officers to check the area and keep an eye out for the car.

Near the railroad tracks, there is what appears to be a homeless male who has set up camp right off the roadway. Metroparks officials were also advised, and they will be responding as well. The caller advised he’s on the viaduct side by the railroad tracks. The suspect male took off and had a large knife on his belt. Metroparks asked for mutual aid to check the camp. Units are out with them. The issue was turned over to the Metroparks
