A male worker from North Coast Auto Mall came into the police lobby to report an incident that occurred at work. Male stated he got into an argument with a fellow employee. Male wanted to document the incident if something occurs in the future regarding the other employee. Male was advised to reach out to the business management.

Caller reporting she has an order against her ex-boyfriend. He is in her house right now — in the basement. She is waiting outside in a car on the street. She states she brought a copy of the order to the police department Monday. It is unknown if male suspect has weapons. She does not know how long he has been there. He was there when she woke up. Officers spoke to the complainant who had filed a county protection order against her husband on 11/25/19. He was now at their house. Her husband had not been served yet. Officers explained to the complainant that the Sheriff’s Department has to serve the order for it to be enforced. The complainant did not want officers to alert her husband of the upcoming service. She was given the number to the Cuyahoga County Civil Sheriff’s Division.

White SUV going up Broadway towards the park. The vehicle left without paying. An officer responded to the listed address and spoke with the manager of Los Gallos. She stated a male and female came into the restaurant with their child and ordered food to go. The couple then purchased two margaritas at the bar and paid for them with cash. They then left the business without paying for their food. The manager advised that she observed them leaving in a white vehicle southbound on Broadway. She provided a plate to officers. The owner of the listed vehicle did not match the description of either party involved. They were advised to obtain a copy of the police report for their records.

Complainant believes the female victim from an earlier assault damaged her car. She states the back window was broken out, all four tires were slashed and the grill was removed. Photos were taken. There were no glass fragments on the ground or inside the vehicle. Unsure who actually damaged the vehicle, or if it was damaged in the city.

Caller stated when she woke up this morning, she noticed the door to her gas tank on her vehicle was open and the gas cap missing. She did get gas last night but believes someone stole the gas cap. The complainant believes that the gas cap was taken sometime this morning. Complainant wanted the information on file.

Officers were called to the listed address for an alleged domestic in progress. The caller stated that a male and female were having a physical altercation and the female was bleeding from her neck. Officers arrived and spoke to all the parties on scene. An argument ensued over the male’s drinking and in the heat of the argument, the male slammed a hot pan of oatmeal on the stove and some of the oatmeal flew up and hit the female in the face, causing a burn. Both parties agreed that the male then attempted to assist his wife to get cold water on her face, which caused the marks on her neck. No other parties at the residence saw the altercation and the female was adamant that this was simply an accident and declined to pursue charges. The male was found to be EWW with Warrensville Heights, so he was transported for pick up.

Upon officers arrival, the boyfriend and girlfriend at the residence were having an argument about their relationship. Female stated the boyfriend at some point while arguing put his hands on her neck. Officers did not see any visible marks on the female’s neck. Female just wanted her space and to let the situation de-escalate. Female did not want to pursue any charges. Male left to go to the library to keep the peace.

Caller reporting that she was on the phone with a male who threatened to put a bullet in her head 10 minutes ago over the phone. Caller does not know if he has any weapons. She stated that he lives on Solon Road. Caller states that the male is upset because he wanted to give her money that she asked to borrow earlier in the week. The complainant stated that she is currently unemployed and has called the male in the past to borrow some money. She advised that she called him on Tuesday asking to borrow some money so she could buy some groceries and did not hear back from him. She advised that he had called yesterday, but she did not answer the phone due to the holiday and wanting to spend time with her family. The complainant stated that she called him this morning about borrowing some money and he became upset that she did not answer his call yesterday. She stated that he told her that she must not need the money since she did not call him back. The complainant stated that she told him that he did not need to be disrespectful towards her. The complainant stated that the male said that he would put a bullet in her head which upset the complainant. The complainant did not want to pursue any charges and did not want to complete a written statement. The complainant requested that the male be advised not to make any further threats and advised not to contact her until she has had a chance to allow things to settle down. An officer contacted the male and advised him of the complaint. He stated that he would not hurt the complainant and that it was a misunderstanding. The male agreed that he would not call the female for a while. No further police action at this time.

Female came into the police lobby to make a report regarding her ex-boyfriend who is harassing her. Female showed multiple phone calls from the male and also text messages. Female was advised to send screen-shot pictures to officers of the texts to document. Female was advised on how to obtain a protection order through Cuyahoga County. Officer was unable to reach out to the male via phone. (On 12/1 the female sent photos over of harassment, and they were uploaded.)

Upon arrival, an officer spoke to the complainant who advised that a customer had a dealer plate on a vehicle and that sometime overnight person(s) unknown removed the plate from the vehicle. The customer lives in Cleveland. The complainant was advised to have the customer call Cleveland Police and file the report.

Caller is having problems with her daughter who is bi-polar. Female is now banging on the front door. The caller does not want her in the house. No weapons are involved. The complainant advised that she and her daughter had an argument earlier today and now her daughter wants to get her belongings. The complainant is concerned for her welfare. After officers responded, the daughter was allowed to gather her property and leave the residence without incident. She was advised to make arrangements with her mother to pick up any additional property and to request an escort.

Caller states a vehicle is following him, and he states that he may have seen a gun. The caller now said he didn’t see a gun, but there may a gun in the car. Male observed a Buick drive slowly past him. Male was unsure what he observed inside the vehicle and was unsure of who it could be. Area checked for listed vehicle but was goa/utl. A vehicle that matched the description was located, but officers found it not to be involved. From previous interaction, the complainant is a diagnosed schizophrenic and is currently not taking any medication.

Officers spoke to a male and female who both stated a verbal argument started over car keys that turned into a shoving match. The female stated that the male put his hand around her neck at one point but the male denied the allegation. Neither either party had marks on them, and both male and female did not want to pursue charges. The male agreed to gather some items and leave for the night to keep the peace. The female was inside the apartment screaming, “Keep your hands off me,” and arguing with a male. The original caller is not there anymore. An additional male caller states that he pushed the female to move her out of the way. He wants the keys to his car and she is refusing. Female does have a gun in the home, but she was refusing to state where it’s located. The male states that he does have weapons but not at the home.

Mother is reporting her son is punching her vehicle outside of this address. The female drove away and now she thinks her son is breaking into her house. The son ran toward the house, and the mother thinks he has warrants for a weapon offense for having a gun. Mother is now stopped in front of the house. The son does live at the house. The mother thinks he entered the house through the garage wearing a black hoodie and jeans. The garage door is open. Mother advised there are no weapons in the house. The male possibly got into a vehicle. Officers checked the area and he was goa/utl. The complainant did not want to file charges.

Customers dined and dashed. Six males left in a black SUV. The vehicle was last seen on Rockside headed towards Northfield Road. The bill was approx $60. No plate obtained; a picture of the car taken taken. Officers checked the area. At 23:13:00 the officers were out with a vehicle matching the description of the Ihop theft at Bartlett and Rockside roads. From the arrest report: An officer initiated a traffic stop, and the operator had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. The driver has an active CCW permit, but refused to answer questions about the firearm, and he refused to step out of his vehicle to perform the field sobriety testing. The driver was forcefully removed from the truck and placed under arrest. An American Tactical .45 caliber handgun was located in the center console with the magazine inserted, and placed into evidence.

Female reported missing a diamond ring inside her apartment. She stated the last time she saw the ring was two weeks ago. Caller stated she wears it on special occasions. She stated she is home most of the time and could not think of anyone taking the ring. The ring looks like a broken 8 with 7 diamonds in it with a stated value of about $2,000. Female will continue to look around her apartment for it.

Caller would like to make a report for a stolen ring. Male reports he and his wife were staying at the Homewood Suites in Solon while their house was being renovated due to a fire. His wife stated, prior to going to their temporary housing, she wrapped her engagement ring with tissue paper and placed it in her jewelry bag. The ring is valued at $6,000. The wife believed she took it out of her jewelry bag when she returned to her residence, and at that time an employee(s) from restoration services were in the house working and on it and helping. At this time, it is unsure if the ring was lost or stolen. The homeowners are insured.

An officer responded to a report of a missing dealer plate. Officer spoke with the manager who stated that a female rented a vehicle and the vehicle was returned without the dealer plate. Officers contacted the female who stated that she did not have the plate because it was attached to the vehicle when it was returned. The manager did not wish to pursue charges.

Male in his 20s reported for overdose. He is blue, but he is but breathing. The male is known to use heroin. The caller is his girlfriend. The last time the female talked to him was about 10 minutes on the phone prior to her arriving home.

The store manager stated that the listed male rented the 2019 Black Nissan Sentra and has not returned the vehicle. The demand letter was sent and the vehicle has still not been returned. Officers left messages with the male suspect and the suspect’s ex-wife requesting a call back. Officers will follow up with the complainant on 12/05/19 to see if the vehicle is returned. The male suspect called officers. He was unaware of the demand letter and will have the vehicle returned tomorrow. Officers will still follow up on 12/09/19 to ensure it has been returned.

Caller states that the male who has been stalking her possibly just pulled into her driveway and then pulled out. The vehicle was a white sedan with dark tinted windows. It headed toward the train tracks. Officers spoke with the complainant who states that a male with whom she dated for approximately six months was now stalking her. She stated that she moved into her current address three days ago, and after several long text messages throughout the day, the white vehicle occupied by three individuals and blaring loud music parked in her driveway. The complainant was unable to verify that the male was driving, but she has recently filed a criminal damage report against the male in Cleveland for damage to her vehicle. The complainant would like this incident documented and special attention for her home as she lives alone. She was advised to contact the county concerning a protection order.

Caller reporting her daughter’s father is taking her daughter and her vehicle. Caller is not at the residence. It is unknown if there are any weapons. Officers spoke to three females involved. The caller stated that she had a fight with her boyfriend and that he stole her keys and cell phone. He also locked her out of the house, and he had her infant daughter in there. Officers attempted to speak with the male, but he would not come to the door. The caller picked up a cooler and broke the window with it. She climbed through the window and opened the door for officers. Officers spoke with the male and he gave the caller her daughter. All the girls left for the night.

He is advising that people have been drinking, but he will not answer further questions. He was advised to check again when sober and call if there is an issue tomorrow. Resident in the lobby wanted to document a male that was seen on his security. Video at 01:20 hours this morning showed male went up to the residence, and once he noticed cameras, he left on foot. Pictures are attached of male for further reference. Resident followed up with an email later today stating the male seen on the camera is his neighbor’s friend.

The officers made contact with the female complainant in the parking lot who stated the male left but did damage to her screen door before leaving. The female stated the altercation was only verbal and nothing physical occurred. The female also stated that she did not want to pursue charges at this time and just wanted to leave for the evening. The female did not want officers to go inside the apartment to photograph any of the damage.

Officer responded for a report of suspicion at the listed address. Officer spoke with the manager who stated that on 12/2/19, a male called the dealership and stated his he was with Bedford Police. The manager stated that the caller said he was investigating a robbery at the dealership and he needed to speak with an employee. The manager stated that the same phone number called the dealership today and the male stated that he was a “victim” of the robbery who wanted his drugs back. The officer asked the employee if she recognized the phone number that had been calling and she stated that the number is her ex-boyfriend’s number. The employee stated she has a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend. She was advised to bring a copy of her restraining order into Bedford Court. Officer was not able to locate a restraining order in leads. Officer contacted the phone number that was calling the dealership and left a message for him to call the police.

Store employee reported a male loitering inside the store. The male is wearing a red sweatshirt and black pants. She is uncomfortable with him inside the store. He did purchase a wine cooler and a snack. Officer came, and male checked OK and left the property.

The complainant called dispatch to speak with an officer about an incident at the school book fair at Central School. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the complainant. She was just inside the school doors talking to the school principal and a teacher that was a witness to the disturbance. The complainant said she got into a verbal argument with another woman while at the book fair. The teacher said it escalated into yelling and then both of the participants were going at each other to fight. She was able to keep the parties separated and escorted them to the building exit. There were conflicting stories about what happened and why it started. The principal advised that each of them need to check in with the office when they come to the school to avoid confrontations with each other. Both parties were advised there will be no charges filed at this time for their actions.
