Tuesday, August 7 reports

Time: 7:17 a.m.

Location: Columbus Road (Frank’s Auto Service)
Owner arrived at the business and found someone had entered the property and caused damage. Sometime on Monday and time of call, person(s) unknown broke out the window on the rear door to the business and gained entry. Stolen from the business was $200 in cash.

Owner reports someone entered the church by breaking out the glass on the door Monday. Nothing was taken from the business. Video of the suspect was obtained from Tucker Landscaping.

Location: Broadway Avenue (Uni Pro Painting Inc.)
Complainant called advising that when he arrived at work he found the rear main door broken in. He stated that he checked the interior of the business and discovered his Volvo missing from the garage. The vehicle had a .32 cal revolver in the glovebox. The firearm is not in operable condition. The offices were ransacked. Unknown if any other items are missing at this time. Complainant will attempt to locate the paperwork on the Volvo. Addendum to stolen motor vehicle and firearm completed. Complainant will make a copy of the video from the business of the suspect. Total value of theft is $ 4500.

Owner reports sometime overnight, person(s) unknown entered the business by breaking the door knob off of the rear door. The unknown person smashed the cash register on the ground which contained no money. Nothing was taken from the business.

Male continuing to make inappropriate comments to employees. Officer will attempt to make contact with male’s brother. Male believed to have some type of issue and officer will speak with relative prior to following up further.

Female states that a vehicle drives past her house every day and she feels like it is almost casing her home. Spoke with the owner of the vehicle who stated that the vehicle is in his name, but his mother and nephew drive the vehicle a lot more than him. He was advised to speak with any who drives the vehicle and advise them of the complaint. The complainant was told to report if she sees the vehicle again on the street. The mother of the vehicle owner called the station to report that it was her driving by the home a lot because she heard it was going up for sale and she wants to buy or rent it.

Caller states that his son is trying to take his truck. He is stating that they are pushing each other and he does not want to escalate the situation with the 17-year-old male. No weapons, no intoxication. Both parties are outside waiting on police. All parties given options. The father went back to work and the teen is going to his grandma’s.

Male was attempting to jump-start vehicles in the parking lot. They were in his care and had been sitting for a while. He wanted to make sure they were still in good working order.

Location: Center Road
Female is in the house. She was kicked out last week and is not supposed to be there. No weapons right now. Female is on the back porch. Caller states that the female broke the fence and made a voodoo burial site. Female has a history of using drugs. Unsure if she used drugs tonight. Dispatch attempted to make contact with the property owner referencing anyone being allowed to be at the back unit of the residence. No answer. Officers arrived on scene and checked the exterior of the building for the female who was gone on arrival. Officers spoke with the complainant who stated that he had a key to the building and let the female inside yesterday morning. Complainant believes that the female is not permitted to stay in the residence. An attempt was made to contact the homeowner to determine proof of residency but no contact was made.

 

Wednesday, August 8 reports

Time: 8:42 a.m.
Code: Shoplifting in Progress
Location: Broadway Avenue (Dollar General)
Female wearing black pants and hot pink shirt walking to back of building took Frito chips but gave them back to clerk. Now walking to first or second house on Columbus Road. Caller is clerk who wants to file a report and does not want her back on the property. Dollar General employee said there was no other loss. Officers found the female walking west down Columbus Road approaching Washington Street. The female stated that she was hiding behind a tree on Columbus before officers found her. Female was identified and found to be out of Medina. Officers met with Medina Police and turned her over without further incident. Female is no longer allowed back inside Dollar General.

Complainant would like to file another report that her neighbor is harassing her. Complainant states that there is a meeting scheduled with management, however, they advised her to file another report because the harassment is continuing. Complainant states that her downstairs neighbor was banging on the ceiling in the early hours when she was asleep.

Irate customer behind ABC Motor Credit. Male went out to his car and put something in his pocket. Suspects it could be a gun but did not see one. Male is wearing a long, brown-sleeved shirt, brown pants. Male is on the phone by his truck. Suspect says the body shop took his car and his money. He says they damaged his car and left. He says he’s a concealed carry holder, but is not armed.

Caller states that a male was at their house threatening them. He left about five minutes ago in a silver car. Caller states the male was there about her son. (He is currently in jail) No weapons. Complainant states the male was upset because their son allegedly scammed his mom. Complainant advised the male that their son was in jail but the male made threats of their house burning down anyway. Complainant does have a sophisticated surveillance system and was able to get a photo of the license plate of the vehicle. It does not come back to the male. They were advised to notify the police department if the male returns.

Someone just came in and stole money from the register. No description or direction of travel. Caller says the theft is on his video system, and another employee told him that the suspect is still in the area, but he still couldn’t give a description. Officers are checking the exterior area for suspicious activity.

Location: Northfield Road
Caller on the line stating that her 24-year-old daughter is destroying her residence. Nothing physical happened today. Mother will be wearing a blue and white sundress standing by outside for officers. Female is back on 911 yelling into the phone. Officers spoke with complainant who was extremely irate stating that she wanted her daughter arrested and kicked out of her apartment for damaging her computer. Officers spoke to the daughter who was sitting on a bed in the living room. Her daughter stated that the two were arguing and no property was damaged. The daughter showed officers the other rooms and no damage was found. The daughter explained to officers that she has been living in the apartment for a couple of weeks and had several bags of clothing, property with her, plus food in the fridge. The daughter did mention that she was trying to find a place and was hopeful to be moving out Friday. Officers explained to the complainant that she would need to go through the eviction process to remove her daughter. She was advised that no property appeared to be damaged, and then complainant began yelling on the phone, walking away from officers. While outside in the rear lot, the complainant was standing in front of a vehicle driven by a male. She mentioned it was her friend. Complainant was yelling, “You’re supposed to be my friend. You ain’t leaving.” Officer asked the driver if he wished to leave and he stated, “yes.” Advised complainant to move out from in front of the vehicle and she began to walk towards the front bumper. Officer held complainant by her two arms, preventing her from going in front of the vehicle while the male drove away. Complainant was then advised again of her options and officers cleared. Forwarded for nuisance billing.

Open line dispatch can hear lots of screaming. Sounds like males fighting. Second caller is a neighbor. Male standing in the street screaming at two women in the home. He is yelling and cussing. Walked up the street towards Northfield Road but he took the alley towards Timko’s Bar. Officers located male on William Street. Officers requesting a squad for male that punched a window.

Female called to report her husband threw her cat across the room. Caller thinks male is outside. Female is not hurt. Male is bipolar. Officers arrived on scene and separated the parties involved. The complainant stated she did not want the male in the residence. The male agreed to leave for the evening and the female was advised of the eviction process.

Caller reports her friend and her boyfriend are fighting. The female who called is not on scene. Officers responded and located the male attempting to leave. He stated he was arguing with his on-and-off girlfriend and he was leaving to cool off. The male stated the female had already left for the same reason. The male did not have any apparent injuries. It appears there was a verbal argument between boyfriend and girlfriend. Checks OK.

Female states someone put his hands on her. She’s advising she doesn’t need a squad. Officers spoke with both parties involved. They had both been drinking and had an argument. Nothing physical. The female left with a friend for the evening.

Thursday, August 9 reports

Time: 11:48 a.m.

Location: Broadway Avenue
Male exposing himself in front of the apartment. All doors are closed at this time. Officers will attempt to make contact with resident in another apartment. Officers staged in the parking lot across the street from the apartment and did not see any male exposing himself in the doorway. Officers spoke to the male who resides at that apartment who stated that he did not expose himself in the open. Also, he stated that he did just get out of the shower prior to officers arrival. The male was fully clothed when officers spoke to him. The caller gave no description for officers to go on for a male “exposing” himself in the doorway.

Female needs to report a stolen license plate to get a new one from the BMV. The female lets her daughter use her car. Her daughter lives in Garfield Heights and told her the license plate was missing off of the vehicle. The complainant doesn’t know where/when/how it came to be missing. It was agreed the plate would not be entered into leads but a report would be on file.

Caller stated he got an alert on his camera system that someone was on his property. Two males were on the property. Both males had on blue shirts. One male was carrying a clipboard. Resident is not home. Males are not on his property anymore. Officer out with males at Grand Boulevard. Checks OK.

Location: Northfield Road (Near Bedford High School)
Officers spoke to the females on scene. The daughter stated that there was never any kind of physical contact between the two of them. The daughter stated that her mother dropped her kids off somewhere and she just wants to find out the whereabouts of her kids and if they are OK. The mother told the daughter where her kids were and that they were OK. Both females agreed to separate for the time being.

Caller reports car with one adult and two teens inside the car smoking marijuana. Caller is now canceling police response as the vehicle is driving off. She will call back when the vehicle returns. Caller states this is an ongoing issue with this vehicle/occupants.

Location: Northfield Road (Northfield Park Apartments)
Female says her mother just hit her 5-year-old child in the face. The mother also cut the caller’s finger with an unknown object. The mother is paranoid schizophrenic. No weapons in her hand at this time. No drinking. Caller does not want EMS. Officers arrived on scene and separated the two parties. The caller stated that the daughter does not reside there and that she wants her out of the residence. The daughter agreed to stay in her room for the evening. Officers arrived back on scene and spoke with both parties who gave conflicting stories. Officers advised both parties and provided options for the remainder of the evening. The mother was advised on the eviction process as well.

Someone is knocking on her front door. She is not expecting anyone at this hour and will not check to see who it is. Officers checked the area. Officers were flagged down by a neighbor who admitted to knocking on the door. Everything checks OK.

 

Friday, August 10 reports

Time: 2:03 a.m.
Code: Theft (Petty)
Location: Broadway Avenue (Circle K Bedford)
Caller states male went into caller’s vehicle while he was inside of the store. He thinks they went west on Broadway Avenue into Bedford. Caller is outside of the store. An officer spoke with the victim at Circle K. He stated that while he was inside of the store, he left his vehicle unlocked. When he came outside he noticed the center console of his vehicle was opened and a golden case containing approximately one-hundred dollars in change missing. Workers stated that the only other people in the store were two younger males. They were last seen leaving the area northbound on Broadway in a blue Chevy. Officers will attempt to watch video from Circle K when a manager arrives for the day.

Officer requesting EMS for female for a possible overdose. Unconscious and breathing. No transport needed. No overdose. Just intoxicated. Operator was cited for expired operators license and fictitious plates. Driver of car was transported and taken into custody by Garfield Police Department. Female transported to lobby to get ride.

Location: Northfield Road (Northfield Park Apartments)
Mother advised her daughter is walking around naked and arguing with her. She stated she is telling lies about her to 911. Daughter is advising she is in the living room arguing with her mother and advises her mother is a paranoid schizophrenic. No weapons. Complainant called back and stated she is acting up again. Mother called back stating that the female was dragging her feet in leaving. The mother wants the daughter out of the home, but the daughter does not want to leave. The daughter has all of her belongings in the home and the mother was advised that she would have to evict her. The daughter agreed to leave the home for a while and discuss the issue when everyone has had a chance to calm down. Copy of report was sent for nuisance billing.

Location: Solon Road (CVS-Bedford)
Caller advised female being disorderly. Manager is the caller. The female was asked to leave bags at the front. Got in the face of the manager. No weapons. Officers spoke to the female who was very hostile towards the employees and officers. The store manager wanted the female to leave. Female was advised of trespassing. Female left without incident.

Location: Mapleton Avenue
Maroon car in road. Looks brand new. Does not have any kind of license plates. Car is parked on the street in one of the curves. Spoke with Toyota of Bedford who confirmed the vehicle broke down. They have a tow enroute for it. They took off the dealer plates for fear that they would be taken. Advised vehicle is a hazard and the vehicle needs to be moved immediately or police will have to tow. Two employees from Toyota arrived on scene. Vehicle broke down on test drive. Tow is on the way. Employees will remain with the vehicle.

Location: Center Road (Circle K – Bedford)
Female complainant was assaulted near the Circle K gas station on Center Road by her live-in boyfriend. Maple Heights Police was out with her. The female was transported to Bedford Medical Center by Maple Heights squad. Complainant will be there to meet with a Bedford officer. The complainant advised that she and her boyfriend had an argument that turned physical with him punching her in the face and head. The complainant stated that she wanted to pursue charges against her boyfriend. Officer completed the paperwork for domestic violence.

Two brother are fighting and the family is now getting involved. No weapons. No intoxications. Caller is now calling from Dollar General. He is driving home to meet officer. The complainant reported he and his brother got into a mutual fight. His brother stated the same thing. No parties on scene reported any injuries nor did they want to press any charges for any action. The brothers separated for a while to let tempers cool.

Older dark car with loud muffler heading toward Northfield Road now keeps pulling in the park and people go up to the car. Then the people leave and he pulls out. This has been going on for over an hour. He pulls to the back corner. Officers checked scene. Car gone upon arrival.

Car parked in front of caller’s house. Male got out of car made a phone call then left. Now he is back and is sitting in his car. Checked out OK. Male is waiting for his friend to get home.

Caller advised there is a group of juveniles in a grey car parked near a white truck. Caller believes they are smoking drugs. Caller did not want to leave further information.

 

Saturday, August 11 reports

Caller said he believes his child’s mother slashed his tires. The complainant’s ex slashed his left rear tire overnight. The ex admitted to the complainant that she was the one that did it. The complainant wanted the incident documented and does not want to pursue any criminal charges at this time.

Caller from across the street states the females that live there are screaming and yelling at each other. Area is quiet right now. Everything is OK here. Female here has a son with special needs and he has outbursts once in awhile

Caller said her husband choked her this morning. She just left the police department and now she wants to make a report. Male is not on-scene at this time.

In the plaza of IHOP, a male is standing outside and there is a black car driving around. Caller thinks it’s possible activity or soliciting / prostitution going on. Semi-trucks are in and out. It has been going on for the past hour. Officers said looks like driver training. Checks OK.

Location: Center Road (The Laundry Basket)
Complainant called reporting that a male stole her wallet and is running down Center Road towards Rockside Road. Stolen was a black clutch-type wallet. Complainant was advised to cancel all credit cards and bank cards. Message was left with the management about trying to obtain video from the store.

Caller found male inside of his vehicle. Upon locating the male, the person took off. Unknown what his intent was. Left heading towards Logan Street. Caller states the vehicle was rummaged through but doesn’t notice anything missing. The keys were not inside of the vehicle. The caller states he doesn’t know who the person is.

Caller states a car followed her home from the area of the Rocksino in Northfield. The car was driven by a  male wearing white shirt and glasses. There were also two other people in the back seat. Caller states that this was provoked when she cut in front of him. No plate information.

Location: Center Road (Circle K)
Employee advised irate customer in the business in reference to a miscommunication over money. Two females involved. One of the other employees is arguing with the two females. The females are leaving and going down Rockside Road towards Broadway Avenue. Parties paid for their gas with a credit card inside but gave the clerk the wrong pump number. When they attempted to get the gas at the wrong pump it would not turn on. The clerk checked the problem and advised them that the gas was pumped and that they cannot refund the credit card. The females left prior to officer arrival. The clerks were advised to call if the females return.

Loud music at three different houses on the street but this house is the loudest.  The resident was advised of the complaint. The music was turned down.

Passerby states there are open car windows on a car in the lot where they are storing all the new Hyundais, and someone can gain access into the vehicle. Caller no longer in the area. There are several vehicles with windows down. Dispatch will attempt to contact the business. Dispatch left a message on voicemail for only keyholder found.

Caller advised her mother is harassing her at the residence. No weapons. No intoxication. Caller would like an officer to assist with calming her down. Caller advised her boyfriend is standing outside home. Mother is inside of the home with the caller. Nothing physical has happened at this time. It is settled for now.

 


Sunday, August 12 reports

Time: 12:27 a.m.

Location: Westview Road
Car parked at dead end of Westview Road with passenger door open for last few hours. Caller does not want officers coming to her residence. The vehicle had the front passenger door open. There was a bookbag on the front seat that was open, but unknown if it was gone through or not. The vehicle was secured. Officers will check back for night parking.

Location: Wellmon Street
Caller advised he just passed Wellmon Street. Male had a hoodie on and was unloading a motorcycle off of a white van into the woods. Caller is not familiar with area. He lives in Cleveland and he is a Lyft driver. He was on a street, possibly Broadway Avenue, enroute to the Rocksino. Upon callback, caller advised it was Solon Road. The van was parked in the middle of the road and unloading into the wooded area. He isn’t able to respond back to area as he has fares.

Caller states that a male put a black bag on top of the car. There were three males. Caller states the male with the black bag started walking away. Caller thought that it was suspicious. Checks OK. Subjects were visiting a friend on the street.

Caller states there is a group of people making a lot of noise in the park. Caller states the park closes at dusk. All the peace-disturbing people were leaving on officers’ arrival. They are now gone.

Officer out checking a male walking south on Northfield Road. Male may have a warrant. Male took off running west on Columbus Road. Male in custody. Returning the male to the jail.

Location: Solon Road
Complainant called to report the theft of his dirt bike from the detached garage. Complainant stated that person(s) unknown stole his dirt bike from his closed garage. Entry was made through the east window and the garage door was opened from the inside. Vehicle color is blue. The bike is valued at approximately $4,000.

 

Monday, August 13 reports

Time: 10:48 a.m.

Location: Leyton Road
Female would like to file a report referencing fraudulent activity on her bank account. Complainant states that on August 3, person(s) unknown made an online purchase to Ticketmaster using her debit account for the amount of $158.57 without permission. Complainant states that person(s) unknown also attempted to make a large purchase on her daughter’s account, however, that transaction was denied due to the large amount. Complainant states that both accounts have been closed.

Employee says that a customer is creating a disturbance over payment for services. No violence. Dispute over rental of a party bus. Advised civil matter.

Location: Avalon Drive
Caller states she is being harassed and threatened by a prior roommate. She also states that he assaulted her a week ago. He is not on scene. Officers spoke with the complainant at the listed address. She was advised not to make any further contact with the old roommate. A sergeant spoke with the old roommate and advised him to call the police department in the morning to arrange a meeting to gather the rest of his belongings.

 


Tuesday, August 14 reports

Time: 10:15 a.m.

Location: Broadway Avenue (Ganley Volkswagen)
See caller at the service bay. Customer took his car without paying sometime overnight. Complainant states that a customer removed his vehicle from their lot by means of a second set of keys without paying the service bill in the amount of $186.74. Complainant advised the number they had on file no longer works so an email was sent on Saturday. The customer did reply stating he did have the vehicle but there was an emergency and he would take care of the bill Monday evening, which has past. A Facebook message has been sent to the customer advising him that if he does not take care of the bill by Friday a warrant will be entered. The male called back and advised his car is back at Subaru and he will be in on Friday to pay for his service bill.

Caller wants to speak to officer about a threatening phone call she received. The phone call was a complaint about her business. She was advised of some options on how to handle the issue with social medial and her business.

Time: 5:12 p.m.

Location: Beverly Drive
Female states that on 8/8/18 she received a phone call from Citi Financial advising her that she was pre-approved for a loan in the amount of $7000. Complainant stated that she gave the caller her bank account number and routing number along with some personal identifiers. She states that the representative advised her that he would be depositing a check for $968 initially to make sure she will be able to make payments before she is issued the rest. Complainant stated that the check was deposited in the early hours of approximately 8/10/18 and she felt it was suspicious, so she went to the bank and withdrew everything she could from her account. Complainant stated her bank put a freeze on her account and the $968 never cleared and she was unable to withdraw the last $80 of her money. Her bank is investigating the incident and the account has been closed. Complainant was advised not to give out personal information over the phone and to report the incident to the major credit bureaus.

Male passed out in the bathroom needle in arm. Narcan being administered. Chest is rising and falling, eyes still closed and unable to raise CPR compressions. Transporting to Bedford Medical clinic with three-man squad. Officers requested for investigation. Responding to the ER for evidence pickup.

Location: Regina Drive
Caller states he is receiving threatening phone calls and text messages from his child’s mother. He would like to make a report. Officers spoke with the complainant and the complainant stated that the mother of his child has been making threats to him and his girlfriend via text messages and phone calls. Officers checked the messages and viewed the call log, and advised the complainant of his options. The complainant did not wish for officers to contact the mother for fear of retaliation, but just wanted something to be put on file. Complainant was advised of necessary action should the threats continue. Complainant emailed screenshots of the text messages received and of the call log showing consecutive phone calls.

Manager reported a male and female reached over a counter and stole cups and fled in a gray vehicle. Made threats to clerk. Left towards Oakwood Village. Manager did not want to pursue charges. Advised to call back if they return to the restaurant.

Truck took down wires at Rockside and Turney. Truck is continuing eastbound at Dunham Road. It is a semi-trailer truck. Caller is still following. Advising now by Speedway coming up to South Lee Road. Hit a sign at Dunham and Rockside. Caller unable to tell what company this truck belongs to. Just passed Pennsylvania Avenue still on Rockside, coming up to Broadway Avenue. Just crossed Broadway Avenue. Now coming up to Warrensville Center Road. Broadcasted, no bedford units in the area.

Male just walked up to the complainant and punched him in the head and then walked towards Northfield Road and started kicking a car. The caller does not want EMS. There are two females with the male now. The male is screaming about, “You want to fight?” Male is running loose from the group home. Two aides from the home now in the neighbor’s driveway. Caller is business owner, and he was advised to stay inside to await officers. Officer is out at the business trying to get the male back into the residence. The staff was finally able to get the male calm and into the van to take him for a ride. The caller did not want to pursue the matter criminally. Later, chief spoke with victim who stated he still has ringing in his ears and may seek medical attention. He will forward any documentation from the hospital if he goes.

Officers spoke to the caller in the lobby who stated she had an argument with her dad about going to live with her mother. She stated he put his hand on her shoulder and then moved his hand to her neck and choked her. There are no visible marks on her neck. The aunt and uncle were both present but didn’t see the father actually put his hands around her neck. The aunt and uncle both stated that she was being very disrespectful towards her father. Officers responded to the house to speak with the father who stated he has been having ongoing issues with his daughter being unruly and disrespectful. They were having an argument about her going back to her mother’s because she would not listen to the father. He stated he had his hand on her shoulder to try and get her phone away from her and she kept moving all over the place. The father never intentionally put his hands around her neck or choked her.

Side door is standing open to the business caller did not see anyone around. Units dispatched. Checking the interior. Owner was contacted and made aware of the situation. Door was damaged due to breaking and entering but business inside checks OK. Only damage was to door. Owner will get a locksmith out to re-secure the door and contact the police department if anything is missing.

The complainant came to the station to report his temporary tag missing off his vehicle. He is doing work at Northfield and Union and parked his vehicle on Northfield. When he got back to his vehicle after working his temporary tag was gone. He already got a replacement tag before coming to the station. A lost/stolen license plate addendum was added to this report and an entry form was sent into leads.

Caller states that her door is kicked open and her house is tossed over. Unknown when this happened; just got home from work. Caller will wait outside for officers She will be waiting in her car.

Female would like to talk to an officer about what she believes was a fraudulent phone call from someone claiming to represent retired teachers and saying they were going to come to her house. Officers spoke to the female in the lobby who stated on 8/15 she received a call from an unknown number stating that they wanted to come to her house and speak with her about school board retirement and update her resource information. The female has since learned that this phone call was a scam and wanted to make officers aware of the situation. Officers advised the female to call police if anyone suspicious shows up at her residence and if she feels unsafe. Officers spoke to the female who stated that the people that she’s been communicating with over the phone just recently drove by her house. Officers advised the female the next time they call, to tell them that she would like no further contact with them and to block the number. Officers called the number and left a voicemail advising the caller to cease contact with the female.

Blue Toyota all over the road. Male driver. The male just pulled into Walgreens. Officers located driver at Center and Willard. Driver appeared intoxicated and was returned to the station. Male refused to provide a valid breath sample. Charged with left of center and OVI. Bond set at $1500 personal.

Female came on station to speak to an officer. She stated the IRS called her and told her to send them money or she would be arrested. She was advised not to answer the phone calls and that it is a common scam.

Male and female have been pushing each other around. No weapons, drugs or alcohol involved. Caller declined a squad and was advised to keep separate from her husband until police arrive. Officers spoke to the male who stated that he and his wife’s relationship has been rocky since she cheated on him in the past. The male states that this argument was over nothing in particular — they just woke up and started arguing. Also, the male states that he has not touched her, but she is pushing and punching him. However, the male would not like to pursue anything at this time in hopes that the situation calms down. Both male and female were advised to separate for the time being in order to keep the peace.


Saturday, August 18 reports

Caller advised that his ex-wife has been opening credit cards in his name. The male states the total amount of money that has been taken out of his name is $45,000.00. The male could not provide any more details about this situation. However, he wants to pursue charges against his ex-wife. Officers advised the male to get proof of the transactions of the fraudulent activity and come in and fill out a statement.

Sisters fighting each other. One is 24 and the other is 17. No weapons, no drugs, no drinking. One juvenile detained and transported back to the station for domestic violence. Juvenile detention advised that they won’t be taking the juvenile. She was transported back home.

Caller would like to file a report for his stolen cell phone. He advised he was intoxicated. Dispatch made contact with caller, and he is coming to the door now. No report needed. Male located his phone in the house.

Caller advising male is fighting with her. He threatened to kill her. No weapons. Male is holding their 1-year-old daughter. She advised it was physical. Squad declined. He also threatened police. Female is outside. Male is still inside of the house. Male is known to do drugs, but unknown if he has actually done any today. Female at the station to file the report. Officers responded to the residence and separated both parties involved. The complainant stated that her ex-boyfriend and she had been arguing. She advised that her ex-boyfriend has been living with her for the past 10 years, off and-on, and he was over for their daughter’s birthday. While attempting to collect his dentured teeth, he broke the back passenger’s side door handle of her vehicle. Officers asked if the ex-boyfriend would leave for the evening and he advised that he had a ride on the way. The complainant was advised of the eviction process. She came to the police department and completed a witness statement for criminal damaging. She was advised to call the police if she had any further issues with the male. The paperwork was forwarded to the prosecutor for review.

Monday, August 20 reports

Caller was assaulted by another male. Caller is bleeding from his ear, however he is not asking for EMS. No weapons. Everyone has been drinking. Caller is outside and caller does not know where the male is. Officers spoke with the complainant, who was highly intoxicated. He stated his friend punched him in the head numerous times. The male friend has since gone into the house next door. The complainant does not wish to pursue charges and declined a squad for his injuries. He was advised to come to the station when he is sober if he wished to pursue charges. The complainant was unable to provide the name of his friend.

Complainant called requesting an officer to respond to Gate #3 in reference to an employee (who was terminated) making gun violence threats against the company and another employee. The terminated employee is not on-site. Officer spoke to the complainant and several other managers from the business. Due to the threats made to the other employee, they were advised not to come to work today. Officer obtained the information on the terminated employee and forwarded the information on to the detective bureau for follow-up.

Complainant is receiving threats on cell phone after encounter at Burger King. The complainant reports that he made arrangements to meet with a female at Burger King to buy a gold chain that she was selling on the app OfferUp. The complainant met with the female but decided not to buy the chain. The female got upset and began to send the complainant messages through the app telling him that she would kill him. No other info is known about the female other than her username on the app is “Juice.”  The male was advised to contact OfferUp and report the incident to them.

Male stole shoes and ran behind the building. No weapons. Male left in a black car towards Columbus. Pulled out the car from behind the dumpsters. Officer spoke to the male’s girlfriend who was in the bathroom at the time of the theft. Called the suspect on the phone. He agreed to return with the merchandise. The item was returned. The owner did not want to press charges.

Female caller said a male is beating her and split her head open. Male in the background was screaming at the female. Officers arrived and found minor mutual physical altercation between boyfriend and girlfriend. Male left to keep the peace.

Caller is at work. He is receiving threats from a man who is upset that he sold a camper the man wanted. The male drove from Pennsylvania to the caller’s home. The caller is upset the male came to his home and his 72-year-old mother-in-law is there by herself and she has dementia. Unknown type of vehicle male is driving. Male only wants officers to drive through the area to make sure everything is okay. The complainant sold a camper online. A male from Pennsylvania contacted him regarding the camper after it was sold. He then inquired about another but was told it was not for sale. The complainant stated the male showed up at the home and started to look at the camper that wasn’t for sale. Only the complainant’s mother-in-law was home. The male then left the area. They just wanted the incident documented and will contact the police department should that male show up again.

Officers spoke to the caller in the lobby who stated he received several letters from banks stating he was denied credit for an auto loan. The caller did not apply for an auto loan and checked his credit report which showed an auto loan for $24,567. He called the bank to advise them of the issue and they stated they would investigate. The caller made a police report with his home city and thought he needed a police report with Bedford since the dealership is here. He was advised it would be documented but would fall on his home police department.
